She has great experience and stays up to date on all the latest trends. She is the only person I trust to handle my hair. Plus she is so much fun to visit with! Don't bother going anywhere else. From pixie cuts to long hair, Maria does it all with skill and style.

I have been going to Maria for 25 years and will never stray. She is a master with cut and color and a delightful spirit. She always makes me look great and gently saves me from my random ideas that just won’t work for my hair. Keeps my hair healthy and pretty. I get lots of compliments and “who does your hair?” comments. She also makes my teen son’s wild hair look stylish. No small feat!

If there were more stars....i would give 10 for Madrid Hair Studio. I have had very short hair for the last 25 years, and when my life time hair stylist retired i was in shock worried who would cut my hair. A friend suggested Maria, and now 16 years later i am a loyal client. I will never venture to any other stylist so please do not retire Maria!!!!!!! I have always been able to just sit down and 30 minutes walk out with a cut that complete strangers stop me on the street asking who does my hair. Enough said.

After 15 years of only using Aveda products on my hair I was very skeptical to use anything else. Maria has done my hair for many years though so I trust her expertise when it comes to my hair. I have to say that REF hair color and products are even better than Aveda. Which I never thought I would say but after 3 colors I am still absolutely thrilled with the results. My hair feels healthier than it ever has and the color lasts a lot longer and looks more natural and shiny. Thank you Maria for staying educated on the health of my hair. You do an amazing job!

I’ve been going to Maria for almost 3 years now, and I followed her to the new Madrid Hair Salon, since I trust her expertise on what looks good. I live out of town, west of Wichita, and I still go to Maria’s new location, because that is how much I love her hair! You can just go in and say what look you are going for (bangs, color, length) and then just relax and let her do it in a way that works best on you. Also she is very funny! I am enjoying her new salon environment as well. If I could give more stars I would.

Loved how I could book online. When I needed to change my appointment, it was quick, easy and didn't get rescheduled for 3 weeks later. Price is competitive, watch out everyone else!! Best part? You get Maria all to yourself. No overbooking, no taking care of other clients in the middle of YOUR appointment. Plusss, you're not at the salon for hours, even though you'd love to hang out with Maria for hours! Services exceed expectations. If there were 10 stars, she'd get them all. Years of expertise in the business and she's always looking to learn. Cannot ask for more.

She listens carefully, provides feedback, and describes her intentions prior to beginning a haircut or coloring service. She is great about recommending cuts, styles, and hair colors that are flattering while at the same time doing everything she can to maintain healthy hair and ease of styling. I have worn my hair in every style from pixie to below the shoulders, blonde to dark auburn, and naturally curly to beautiful blowout and she has always done it perfectly!
