This was my first experience getting a massage. The entire appointment was filled with confusion. The therapist’s just kind of pointed around with no instruction and I was left to guess for most of what I was supposed to do. This was definitely a deep tissue. I felt like I needed to tap out half way through and I’m not sensitive to pain. You get a thin top sheet and are rubbed down with some kind of eucalyptus oil so be prepared to be cold. The worst part of it all is that when you go to pay at the end, you are high pressured into tipping more. Whatever you intend to tip, they will ask you for more which is very unprofessional and off-putting. I will never return

I almost changed my review to 1 star, but that wouldn't be fair to the business. I just left from my 2nd visit here, and the first visit was 5 stars all the way across the board. But this last visit, I called asked for a 90 minute massage, and was told to come in 30 minutes. So I killed a little time, showed up 30 mins later, reminded her I wanted 90 minute massage (if they had the availability and time). Instead of just telling me that they didn't have the time, she tried to high pressure upsell me to 4 hands for an hour, and then said instead of 1 masseuse for 90 minutes, I get 2 for 45 mins. If she would have just slowed down from all of the high pressure tactics and trying to drag me back to a room, I would have been good with just getting an hour massage (with 1 masseuse). But, instead I just walked out and am on my way somewhere else to get a massage. It's meant to be relaxing, not stressful and uncomfortable.

I visited the soa on several occasions. Each visit was a great experience. Very professional service and very gentle to the touch. I will visit again.
