HIGHLY recommend going to Magic Touch for any electrolysis or laser needs. Surila is the best of the best. I went to her for electrolysis. She quickly and effectively removed all my unwanted hair in a matter of a few sessions. She is precise, and the treatment was almost painless - not to mention she is always a pleasure to speak with! I will continue to use her for any hair removal needs!

Surilla is excellent! I have very sensitive skin and break out easily, but Surilla is so precise and gentle that I never get any rashes. She's very accommodating and flexible, so booking is always super easy.

Surila is INCREDIBLE!! I have gone to a few electrolysis clinics and was not seeing the results I needed for my super fun face hairs 😅😭. I started going to Surila a few months ago and the hairs that have cursed me are ACTUALLY disappearing now!!! It's been a big insecurity of mine, and I started to think I was forever doomed. Not only is Surila precise with her process, she is also such a JOY to be around! I can't recommend her enough!!! ❤️

Surila is a miracle worker! I have hirsutism due to PCOS and I see so much difference in less than a year of regular electrolysis treatment. Apart from being a skilled electrologist, she is also a wonderful human being and very patient and supportive during the whole process.

Surila is incredible! I have been plucking the coarse/terminal hairs on my neck and chin every day for years and I finally decided to try electrolysis. I'm only two months into seeing Surila for electrolysis and I've already experienced a DRAMATIC reduction in hair growth. The amount of hair that would grow in on a daily basis now takes at least a week to grow back, and my chin is already nearly hairless. I'm so excited about the progress. I feel more confident already and it's amazing to see the hair reduce with every appointment. The discomfort is mild (totally tolerable) and Surila makes me feel very comfortable and welcome. Best electrologist in lower Manhattan/all of NYC!

I've been coming to Suriya for awhile. She is thorough and detailed, and I'm so happy with the work. Electrolysis is great for permanent hair removal, especially in sensitive areas like the face. I've done laser elsewhere but only trust electrolysis on my face. It's also so easy to book by just texting her and great to talk to!

Surila is the best! I wouldn't go anywhere else for electrolysis. The places I went to before I found her didn't do a good job and I always had breakouts afterwards. Surila is thorough and the results have been excellent. And on top of all that, she is a lovely person so it's always pleasant to be under her care!

I've had electrolysis before in the past and hands down, Surila's technique has given me the best results. She uses the blend method. Her technique is least painful, effective and I don't have to worry about excessive scabs. Its obvious that she's an experienced electrologist. Ive been going to her for a little over a month and alot of hair follicles have died and not grown back. I was concerned about going to anyone due to COVID. However, her office is clean, surila is sterile while performing electrolysis, and masks and gloves are always worn. I am also always the only client in her office when I go for an appointment which helps with social distancing. Im grateful to have found her 💓

Ive been going to Surila for over 2 years now and its one of the best decisions ive made in my life. Shes experienced, professional, office/equipment is hygenic, and shes a very sweet and friendly woman. She has a nice technique to keep pain and scabs to a minimim and I always look forward to our sessions together. You wont regret going to her for electrolysis!

She is so personal and makes you feel so welcome when you come. The office and building are currently both adhering to COVID standards and I feel very comfortable continuing to see her. Exceptional service! Surila is very sweet and professional. I feel very relaxed and comfortable in her care. My upper lip hair is almost nonexistent at this point and i couldn't be happier. And even better, i never had scars or scabs on my skin after treatment.

Surilla is an excellent electrologist. I have seen a few before, and have had the least amount of irritation and redness with Surilla. If I have an ingrown, she takes time to carefully remove it and leave minimal damage. I can walk out after having even delicate and visible areas worked on and not worry about what I would look like. Plus it's effective. I've expanded the areas I wanted to work on because I was so pleased with the results. Everyone's skin is different, but I believe Surilla truly knows what she is doing and I am very happy!

Words cannot describe how blessed I am to have found Surila at Magic Touch. Although I have only gone to two electrolysis sessions so far, I have already noticed a tremendous difference. Surila is truly a miracle worker, and an incredibly kind, generous, and friendly one at that. She is extremely professional and efficient - the time flies by as you are lying down getting treated. I had previously experimented with laser hair removal about five years back, and saw little to no long term results. I decided to finally get up the courage to try electrolysis – which I was nervous about since I heard it was more painful – but I am so happy I did and so happy I am doing it at Magic Touch. Surila makes you feel extremely comfortable and at home during each session and will talk with you as she is performing the electrolysis. She has been doing this for over 30 years and it’s very clear she is extremely skilled; I hardly noticed any pain despite the fact my first session was over an hour. I cannot recommend Surila at Magic Touch enough to anyone out there that has to deal with unwanted hair. You will not find a better, more professional and skilled woman in the city to perform electrolysis. Being comfortable is so important to me in situations as sensitive as this and I can guarantee you will feel extremely comfortable with Surila and come out loving the results.

I am also known as (Magdalia) I started with Surila in July of 2010 and man is she the best! I have to say, I was very nervous to go since I have seen horror stories concerning electrolysis on African American Skin. The one thing that attracted me to Magic Touch is that Surila specializes in African American Skin, I am Haitian American, and have combination skin that SCARS EASILY, ever since I have been going to Surila, her techniques have been working. I have ingrown hairs and she was able to remove them WITHOUT ANY SCARRING! The office is cozy yet private and its located across Century 21 ( a plus for my shopping femmes). She is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her for any treatments.

Surila's Laser hair removal machine is the best! It really works! I've gone to other places (even Dermatologists) and I got to say this is the only laser that takes the hair away and keeps it away!!! Surila is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable~ which is GREAT! not to mention her prices are very reasonable. I recommend her to all my friends and family and once you go so will u!

The woman who works there charges almost twice as much as other places that provide the same services. She even quoted me one price at the consultation visit and then raised the price when I got my first treatment! Needless to say, I never want back and I used a different place instead. The new place had newer equipment that made the procedure much less painful, so I think Magic Touch must use old equipment or something. Not recommended, try to find a place with better prices and better equipment
