Boris is so amazing at highlights, this is my second time at the salon and I genuinely trust him with my curly hair! I am a dark brown haired girl and he gives me blonde highlights without damaging my hair which is amazing. Also toner and wash which shows how much he cares! Thank you!

I had a great appointment with Boris last week, I made the appointment for my birthday and went in for a layered cut. My hair is pretty thick and curly so I wanted to get face framing layers but keeping the length. He ended up cutting around 4 inches of my hair which made my hair cute but shorter than I expected it to be. I also made an appointment during their rush hour which was around 6 so I would advise going earlier. Overall Boris was a very nice stylist but be clear about how much length you would like to keep ahead of time!!

Most UNPROFESSIONAL place I've ever been to. The owner of this salon snapped at me and tried to INTIMIDATE me. Red flags 🚩everywhere... Completely different employees on a regular basis, some unable to communicate in English. The staff gets berated by the owner for every little thing. One careless employee "SPLASHED" hair dye in my eye! 😤 I had NEVER experienced this at any other salon, anywhere. Isn't having your hair done supposed to be a relaxing experience? Staff gets easily distracted by their own unnecessary chatter. They barely shampoo your hair, and you have to remove the dye off your forehead at home. TERRIBLE BLOWOUT. You might leave stressed out with the whole experience. It's not worth it! I know some great choices in the same neighborhood. BOTTOM LINE: Don't let the owner of this salon get too comfortable with you.

Every time I go to Magnifique I have an amazing experience! Boris is seriously the best - my hair looks perfect every time. The color, cut, and styling are always exactly what I ask for and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The prices are also fantastic!

Had an amazing first time experience! I had Julia and 100% recommend a cut and style from her! Didn’t feel rushed at all and she took her time on each cut to make sure it was perfect. 100% recommend will be my new salon.

Super warm and friendly staff! I highly recommend, they are incredibly kind and actually talk to you to work to understand you, your hair, and even talk about hair health with you. Everything I’ve ever wanted in a hair salon for an amazing price.

i wanted to change something up from my black hair so i made an appointment with Boris and he did not disappoint!!! i was so hesitant to go with highlights as it’s not a look i’ve ever done before but i am not disappointed!! my hair is the absolute best it’s ever looked and Boris just saw my hair and knew exactly what to do without me really saying anything. i showed him a few pictures of what i liked and he gave me his very honest feedback and made sure the color didn’t wash me out. my jaw was broken to say the least when i saw my final result and i 100000% recommend this salon to anyone!!!

Best haircut in NYC, will not go anywhere else. Boris and his team take time to listen and make sure they give you the cut you are looking for. The price is beyond reasonable for the service they provide. Additionally the best blow dry I’ve had in the city! Thank you Boris!!

I just got a great haircut blowout and hair glaze/toner treatment. My hair is glowing and voluminous. The staff was so accommodating and kind and flexible with scheduling. 10/10!!!

Absolutely LOVE my haircut I got here! It’s been hard for me to find a hair salon/stylist that gives me exactly what I want, but Boris is amazing. He listened to what I envisioned and made it happen. Best haircut I’ve gotten in NYC since I’ve lived here. Julia (hopefully I got the name right) styled my hair after the cut and the blowout looked INCREDIBLE. All the staff is lovely and friendly as well, and they definitely make you feel welcome!
