I had my hair done by Gladys. This was my first time trying henna coloring. Mindy the owner was very helpful explaining the process. I felt very comfortable and booked an appointment. Gladys was amazing, very sweet lady and great at what she does. She also explained the process and I felt confident that I chose the right place to dye my hair. The first time I went to Mindy she took her time and looked at pictures on the Internet that would suit me and my style. I thought I had straight hair and she said no you have beautiful natural curls so she gave me a cut I can scrunch my curls and go. I love it. I’ve been rocking my curls and coming back to Mindy . Mindy dyed my hair a lovely coppery auburn. She took her time understanding what I wanted beforehand. And afterwards I had a million follow-up questions, which she graciously took the time to answer in detail. She is very knowledgable and kind. The henna left my scalp healthier and my hair shinier and silkier than before. And I feel great knowing that the dyes were all natural and plant based, no harmful chemicals.

I have been coming to Mindy for about a year now. Before her, I was getting regular chemical hair coloring and, after years and years of doing this, my hair and scalp began to react badly. I developed dermatitis on my scalp with hair loss! It was really scary to be loosing so much hair and, to have a scalp condition that continued for months. My hair became dull and dry. I switched to all organic hair products which helped but I knew that I could never go back to chemical coloring again. That was when I found Mindy! It didn’t take her long at all to find the right color for me with her organic hair coloring and to color my gray! I love the Henna hair coloring, it is so conditioning on my hair and has truly helped my hair to become healthy again! I have also been asking Mindy to help me find different hair styles to try. She is so patient and she works hard to help me to get the right cut and style that works for me! I love the way she cuts my hair and her hair coloring expertise is amazing! She knows what she is doing and, if there is a challenge that comes up, she works on it until she can find the proper solution! She has done that for me… and more!! I am so thankful to have found Mindy at Mai Blossom. Because of her, my hair has become full and healthy again!!

Mindy did an amazing job with my hair! Went in with split ends and long damaged hair. I came out with healthy hair and a beautiful cut. My color is still developing but looks fantastic so far! As a holistic doctor that helps people detoxify, it was important for me to find a salon that did not use harsh chemicals and treatments. Mindy's salon has no strong chemical odor (unlike every single other hair salon I've walked into) and was a very peaceful environment. My experience with Mindy was phenomenal as well. She cut my hair in a skillful way that matched exactly what I was hoping for. I will be back and I would highly recommend her!

Four years ago, I was looking at specialty salons that use natural products for hair coloring. Fortunately, I saw Mai Blossom’s ad. I met Mindy soon after that and I’ve been going to her ever since. It’s simply marvelous that Mindy is so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. I have black hair and her application of hi lite followed by henna hair color. The result is amazing because it looks so natural. Furthermore, the texture of my hair improved greatly. Mindy is the best!

I am so grateful to have found Mindy! I stopped dying my hair a few years ago. I have tons of gray and didn't look like the cool, styled type. I've been wanting to color my hair, but I don't do well with chemical dyes. When I came across Mindy's website, I was so excited to give henna coloring a try. And I'm so happy I did! It was an even better experience than I could have imagined. Mindy is very thoughtful in how she selects the best color for your hair and skin tone. Additionally, the way she formulates the henna treatment is incredible. She puts additional organic and natural ingredients into the color, which make it feel like a hair treatment and not just a color. My hair felt amazing and silky after the treatment, not to mention the beautiful color that I had all throughout! I felt like I was 10 years younger in a matter of hours :) Thank you, Mindy! I have been using Henna on my hair exclusively for the past 6 years. I chose Henna because of the toxic chemicals that are used in other hair color. I still needed something to cover up my grays. I met Mindy last year when transitioning from another salon. Mindy is an amazing colorist and was able to color my hair in a one step process and I now have a more consistent color than my previous salon. She is innovative and determined to cover even the most persistent grays! She is sweet, punctual, well priced and the salon is easy to access. Her salon is welcoming, clean with a positive energy. I highly recommend her for all of your hair care needs!

I started seeing Mindy last year after using Hairprint for 4 years. I realized it was starting to make my hair break, so I needed to find something that would actually help restore it. Mindy doesn’t just apply henna, but adds goodies to bring the hair back to a healthier place. I noticed after a few months that my hair wasn’t breaking anymore. I saw a friend recently who I hadn’t seen since the pandemic shut things down. She said, “Wow, I really like your hair color!” I hadn’t even told her I was using henna. Mindy is a true artist and a wonderful soul. She is the first hair stylist I’ve ever gone to consistently. Sadly, we’re moving out of state, and I will miss walking into her beautiful salon, as well as her kindness and patience. If you’re considering trying henna with Mindy, I do not think you’ll be disappointed.

Mindy is amazing! I messaged her to see if she offered gift certificates so I could treat my mom for Mother’s Day. She went out of her way to help me coordinate that, and she then went even more above and beyond for my mom’s appointment. My mom started coloring her hair with henna about a year ago and needed the orange/yellow color neutralized. She was hoping for more brown and less orange/red. Mindy asked questions up front so she could work on the color and was so determined to leave my mom’s hair looking fabulous and all the grays fully covered. She didn’t hesitate to do this even if it meant investing more time. She achieved a beautiful brown I didn’t think was possible with henna. Not only is she an amazing colorist, but she also cuts hair beautifully. Her salon is super warm and inviting and perfectly clean too. I am so glad we found her! My hair has been falling out and is very dry. However, I have greys that need to be covered and really want to color my hair. I searched and found Mai Blossom uses henna and I decided to try the service. Mindy was professional, offered advice on my hair, and the color came out exactly how I wanted. WOW! After moving to California from Hawaii, I have finally found my hair guru! I contacted Mindy 6 months prior to moving out here, and Mindy always answered my questions and concerns. Her knowledge and compassion made me comfortable with trying a new hairdresser. Mindy helped my hair become the shiniest and softest it’s ever been. Her use of Henna is what attracted me to this salon. I am allergic to PPD, which is found in hair dyes, and can only use Henna in my hair. The henna is all natural and organic so it doesn’t damage my hair. When I first met Mindy, she asked me about my allergy and the allergic reactions I’ve had to make sure Henna was the right fit for me. I appreciate that she took the time to talk to me understand my situation. I am consistently thrilled with my hair results! Mindy is an incredible hairdresser and her salon is relaxing and comforting. I would recommend Mindy to everyone! The all natural coloring is an added bonus to Mindy’s kindness and talent.

I have been visiting Mindy's Salon for many years. I don't think she has ever been late starting a appointment, unlike other salons that I had visited in the past. Her salon is clean and peaceful as she is the only stylist. I love her hair products; she uses natural or organic which leaves my hair feeling so much better than the old harsh chemicals that most salons use. I have always been happy with what she does! What a fabulous salon. Mindy is truly an expert cutting and coloring hair. She listened to how I wanted my hair cut, offered suggestions, and then proceeded to give me the best haircut I’ve ever had. My thick hair is layered perfectly. It sways and feels wonderful. The henna color she applied was nourishing, and my hair is silky and soft. Her expert eye helped her formulate a perfect dark brown, natural looking color. I love my new look, and achieving it without the use of harmful chemicals makes it even better.
