I’m new in town, I was so afraid to not being able to find a place where to get a proper haircut, however, I met Mai and I can only be thankful for her professional service, kindness and attention to details. I definitely recommend her and while in The US I will definitely come back. Thank you Mai. Great work.

Don't know how to do the business... I have been over 10 yrs customers. I traveled to her salon for 1 hr and waited for almost 3 hr and I was the first turn and she skipped me and prioritized to her white clients..Really? By the end of the day I didn't even get my turn....I m not coming back to this kind of business

The review from Mira is untrue! I have known Mai for over a decade. Many of my patients are also Mai’s customers for a long time. Mai treats all customers fairly and with dignity. She doesn’t discriminate based on sex, nationally, race or national origin. Priority goes to customers who made the appointment. If Mira just walked-in without an appointment, naturally she needs to wait. But, know Mai, I don’t think Mai will let her customers wait for hours. Mai has an excellent reputation in the community. She is beyond FABULOUS!!! I wanted Ombre and she gave me sooooo much more. Mai, I feel like like a woman!! First time in years I've had my hair done, with being a new local I went to her. If Mai is anything beyond professional, she's truly genuine and thank you for making me feel beautiful!!!!

Just took my daughter here for the first time, and we will definitely be coming back! Mai took one look at the photo we brought as a reference and then executed the look flawlessly. My daughter is over the moon and can't stop smiling. 😊

I looked up local salons near me and diacovered Mai's Hairport that was within walking distance. Came in looking for a trim and style from my normally neutral wavy hair, and I got just that. I told Mai to keep it long, but that they had free reign to style and mess with my hair however they wished, so they opted for 2-3 inches off the ends and some straightening; I hadn't done the latter since I was a teen, so it was nice to mess around with it again. Attached below are a few pics showcasing the cut. I didn't take any beforehands, but maybe visualize wavier hair worn up in a ponytail or bun and that's basically what it was. They have my recommendation for affordable hair cuts for both genders, as well as plenty of additional offerings, like mani/pedi or masks and foot soaks, to name a few.

Mai is so amazing. I was lucky enough to get squeezed in for my birthday because of a last minute cancellation. She gave me a no chip pedi, a toner, a hair treatment, and styled my hair for my party. All with friendly service, professionalism, and a great price. Her work is spectacular, and her as a person, she is just so kind and welcoming. Her energy is so contagious, and she makes the whole experience! Book with Mai and you will be very happy! :)

Review update: Do you ever wonder why Mai has so many 5-star reviews? It’s quite honestly because she is that good! We have become friends a very long time ago & Ive followed her 3 times! I saw her exclusively for so many years I’ve lost count! Mai is one of my all time favorite people! I always get so many compliments after one of her haircuts. She is very talented and worth the drive from south of the great I-80 divide!

Not only did she give me the haircut I wanted, but she also did little things I normally have to specify to other professionals. She styled my hair once the cut was finished and gave me tips on how to fix it up at home. The cut was at a great value, the owner was incredibly kind, and she serves sweets on Saturdays. I'm very bad at keeping up with my haircuts, but I'll definitely be going back to her next time.

I went to Mais hair salon today to get a hair dye cut highlight and my eyebrows done and I was very happy about how she did she was a very nice person and very fun to chat with we did have a couple of really good laughs to im really happy with the outcome and I will be going back for sure
