Heard about this place from friend and social media! Decided to book an appointment and Halley was extremely responsive and got me in the same day :). I showed her inspo pics and she executed the vision I had for myself - she was patient and knew what to do to achieve the look and style I was going for! Highly recommend her & her work speaks for itself :).

I booked a last minute appointment and was randomly assigned Halley as my stylist. Best random assignment ever! I drive up from Virginia to get my hair done here and I always come back happy with my results. i absolutely LOVE how my hair turned out!! She fixed my overgrown bangs and got rid of all my dead hair 😅 She showed me how to style my hair as well. I’m super indecisive but she quickly picked up on that and showed me some options and achieved the look in 30minutes max. Please request Halley when booking your next visit here! I randomly picked this salon near my place, and I'm so glad I did! The staff were super friendly, and my haircut turned out amazing. I haven't had a good salon experience in a long time, so thanks for the great service!

They did a decent job. The stylist cut my ear, and was very apologetic about it, but my down perm and cut were mediocre at best. For the price, I expected a lot more.

the haircut came out as intended but the hospitality and vibes aren’t really there. I don’t think I saw a single smile off him the whole time. Male hairdresser really rushed through my cut and even forgot to show me my back without being prompted. Just didn’t feel like the care aspect was there to a premium price. Location is also so iffy having to walk up and down between floors

I got a long woman’s haircut today and Halley did such an amazing job! I appreciate that even prior to shampooing & cutting there was a consultation where she talked to me about the hairstyle that I wanted. She was easy to talk to, very gentle with my hair, and skilled with styling it. I’m very satisfied with the result! I’ve been looking for a stylist I can trust with my hair and I think I’ve found the one! I’ll definitely be going back :)

The quality of a haircut largely depends on the stylist, I guess. We were charged $100 for a kid's haircut. It was nothing special; she spent 5 minutes cutting the bottom end of my daughter's long hair. Not impressed, I could have done that at home myself. Total rip off.

The salon itself is clean, bright, and airy. It’s super easy to find. All of the staff are super friendly from the moment you walk in the door! I had an appointment with Halley for a layered haircut and color/highlights. She did an amazing job giving me what I requested! She works very fast so it only took about 3 hours total. She listens well when you want something specific done (eg. I have thick hair and wanted the bulk of my hair thinned in the back; she totally delivered!) Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I got a haircut from Bewy and she did an amazing job! I usually keep my hair short but I didn’t know I wanted to keep it longer until I got a haircut from her. I will come here again to get a haircut!

Ian is absolutely the best hair designer in NYC!! Worth every penny! Me and my husband used to go Mason de Mi for Ian for a long time but we moved out from NYC couple years ago. We missed him so much as there is no better hair designers than him in other parts of US. My and my son just did my haircuts with Ian and left the salon now. This is the hair cut we really wanted for a long time. He is absolutely the best of best in USA! I sent couple of my friends to Ian before they all loved him! I highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks for made our nyc visit so special and for the amazing haircuts! We will def come back for our next visit!

She not only works magic on my hair but also takes care of my wife’s, and we couldn’t be happier with her expertise and warmth. Jane is truly one of a kind, and we love her dearly. Male hairdresser botched my hair beyond belief, but the female who cut my girlfriend’s hair did an amazing job. 5 stars to the latina that washed my hair, 2 stars to the guy that cut my hair because he stopped when I asked him to, 5 stars to the lady who did my girlfriends, 1 star for management for begging for a tip while we were leaving. Solid 3/5

My 15yo daughter and I had our Head Spa treatments done right before we’re flying back to Florida. We were greeted and welcomed. Without much wait, we were seated to begin services. We did detox, moisturizing treatments along with some scalp massages. My stylist, Beau, was super attentive from water temperature to how I wanted to style my hair…. Look at how pretty she made my hair looks!! Love my experience at Maison with Beau!! Give her a shout!! You will be happy that you did!!

Since my hairstylist moved out from NYC, I’ve been coming to this salon for over two years getting haircut and perm with Jane. She knows exactly what I want and never disappoints me. I am very satisfy and beyond happy with her service. Will definitely see her for a long long time.

Soyoung does an amazing job! I've tried multiple different places for my perm, and none have compared to Maison de MI. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend!

They were able to accommodate my last minute blowdry request and Kay did a great job finishing it up before my ‘deadline’. The location is easy to spot on 5th avenue but the elevator didn’t work, so just take the stairs to the 2nd floor where they’re located to save time. The only downside was the assistant as she wasn’t too competent.

I recently had a men’s haircut with Jane at Maison , and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jane was professional, attentive, and really listened to what I was looking for in a style. She took her time to perfect every detail, and the result was even better than I had hoped. The salon itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. Soyoung has colored and cut my hair since 2023. I love the color and how long the color lasts. She gives great advice on how to keep my style current. I also have gotten Keratin treatments and love how shiny and soft my hair becomes. Soyoung is professional and warm each and every time I come in. I feel well cared for getting my hair done by her.
