Mala Vida is where I have gotten all of my favorite haircuts! Couldn’t recommend them enough. There is so much precision and technique, you can tell they’ve dedicated years to their craft. My hair always come out so fluffy and wispy. I always get tons of compliments and it grows out so nicely in all of its stages.

When she left her previous location years ago—of course they wouldn’t tell me where she went— I literally found her on a friend of a friends page & asked them for her info. The atmosphere, cleanliness & professionalism she offers is unmatchable. From pixie cuts, mullets & long layers, she can do anything!

I was looking for someone to do a “pixie-ish” cut for my daughter (10) that wouldn’t break the bank but would also do a nice cut! I found Maribel on Instagram after looking at all of her work and was really blown away! When we got to the salon, I felt like she really understood exactly what my daughter wanted done and we felt really confident in her abilities! Not only was this the most adorable cut my daughter had ever gotten, it was done with such great precision and skill!!! Maribel was nice, professional, personable, and knowledgeable! I cannot wait to go for my own appointment!!! 10 out of 10! 5 ⭐️!!!!

Maribel cut my hair and gave me a completely new hairstyle. I hadn’t gotten anything done since before COVID and it was an amazing transformation. She played super cool music and was professional and very friendly. She asked for reference photos and gave me honest feedback on how to personalize what I wanted to my hair texture, face shape and length. Her many years of experience definitely show! She also showed me how to style my new hairstyle and which products she was using. I will be going back to her for sure. 10/10. The hot towel during the hair wash was a cherry on top.

Maribel is AMAZING, I do hair myself and only trust her hands with my cuts! I have looked to her as my hair mentor/role model because she is so skilled, inspirational, and creative! I got my hair cut with her back in March, we are now in December and the way my hair has grown out not only exceeds what my personal hopes were, but my hair still looks great and layered! Maribel is beyond words. I cannot explain what she does. She’s a true artist. She doesn’t use clippers, she scissors by hand and that’s talent in itself. She is always welcoming and down to earth. I love my Maribel!

Maribel is the best!! She was recommended to me by friend last year. I had shaved my head during the pandemic and i needed a quick shape up. As my hair started growing back she kept working her magic. Everytime i go with her she does an amazing job. Shes really professional and attentive. A real work of art! The best experience I've had getting a haircut. As someone with curly hair it's hard to find someone who gives me a haircut I'm more than satisfied with.
