FIVE STARS. Short review: amazingly cute & clean salon, Misa actually listened to me, both Joey & Misha have consultations without upsetting, both were so nice & complimentary, coffee/water/tea is offered, prices are NOT scary. Please go here. Located on the backside of Vista Del Mar Ave & Carlos Ave (don't go to the front by Funko!). . Detailed review: I have almost always done my hair at home (including time and cutting), and cosmetologists have shamed/scolded me before for having fun with my hair. Hair grows, so I find this scolding irritating. Misha DID NOT do that. He was so kind, asked me thorough questions about my hair routine, what I used, what I wanted from the cut, talked to me about conditioning and possibly a Brazilian smoothing treatment in the future, but was not pushy at all. He cut my hair SO, SO beautifully, I'm still in love with it. The salon was clean, cute, modern looking, coffee, tea, and water were offered multiple times, they had great music on, and both Joey and Misha were so, so sweet. Because I have done bleach wahes on my hair in the past, I asked for their opinion about possibly fixing the color, and Joey was honest, gave new his opinion on what could be done (so much easier than I thought), and gave me an approx ball-park on what the services would cost (not an arm and a leg). I don't frequently get my haie cut, but I'm never going to skip on these guys again, they're genuinely amazing. This was by far the best salon experience I've ever, ever had. The salon is located on the backside of Vista Del Mar Ave & Carlos Ave (don't go to the front by Funko!).

Curly girls - Joey gets it! He took so much time to understand what I wanted, what I didn’t like about previous haircuts from other places and what my overall hair goals were. Highly recommend Joey to help navigate the crazy journey of curly hair!

I have been coming to Mane Duo Salon for the last 4 years and will never go anywhere else! Misha and Joey are incredibly welcoming and make you feel so comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. I've had multiple different styled cuts by Misha and have loved every single one. 12/10 recommend

I love Mane Duo, it's always a delightful time chatting with Misha and Joey in their beautiful space, and Ollie the dog is adorable. Misha layers my hair so it grows out and still looks great months later. He always get the framing and the length just right and styles it just so. Love.

First of all Mane Duo’s salon is so clean and super cute. Joey and Mischa are amazing and made me feel beautiful as I’m growing my hair out after it all fell out from chemo earlier this year. Joey fixed my color and gave me a cute cut. Can’t wait to come back and see them!

I just moved back to LA and I’m so happy I’ve already found my hairstylist! Both of the owners of this salon are sooo nice and so helpful. I was feeling self conscious and not looking forward to getting my hair done because I just recently took out my hair extensions and my hair was so thin and damaged but they made me feel comfortable immediately and made my hair look amazing! Highly recommend this salon to everyone!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The space, the attention to detail, the care, and the kindness cannot be beat. I loved getting my haircut by Joey! He really tailors the cut to suit one's lifestyle, texture, and face with great mindfulness and skill. I felt super safe and heard in his chair and hands. I'm willing my hair to grow faster so that I can go back sooner! :)

Cutest place ever!! The owners are the sweetest & most welcoming people. Typically it’s hard for me to find a specific salon that I enjoy and want to be consistent at, but I think i’ve found my new go-to! I got a Partial Highlight + Gloss. They listened to what I was going for and did just that! Highly recommend. 🫶🏻

The most amazing salon experience! I felt so seen, heard, valued, and respected. Joey and Misha have the most loving energy and cutest salon dog. They are so experienced and beyond talented. So thankful I found them to help me before my wedding :) I would trust them with all my family and friends!

This is my second experience with them .. the best choice in LA .. the first time was a short haircut (mind blowing) . The second was hair color fixing science my hair down is blond and the root was red/brown and he did made very light highlight from the top and more dark down so the final look become chocolate with balanced light highlight .. I really admire his effort with the client ..

Absoultely amazing! I did a rather big change to my hair recently (went from long to almost shoulder length hair) and it looks absolutely wonderful! The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the place has a very nice clean aesthetic to it. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on my hair recently.

I have been coming to Misha and Joey for about five or so years now. Not only did they listen to me when I first started about maintaining the cut I had, but when I knew that they were familiar with my face and my hair and I could trust someone so fully, I said do what you want with it! Misha gave me the cutest choppy cut that I have always wanted to try, But wasn’t sure if I had the face to pull it off. And Joey, the highlights he gave me were exactly what I was looking for. I said I wanted something just to give a little dimension and warmth and the reactions I get from people who see my hair says everything. Even as it grows out, I still get compliments:) Also… I had been using drugstore shampoo and conditioner for decades. And I always felt like my hair had no volume and was just blah, even after great cuts. So I think it’s been three years now of using Mr. Smith hair products that Misha and Joey suggested. At first I thought it was just another “sale”, but like I said, I trust these two. So I bought the shampoo and conditioner. Not only do I need less product per shower, but my hair is nourished and light and so much more healthy. They last almost a year in comparison to drug store brands. If you’re investing in a great cut and color, then I suggest you invest in quality hair products, such as Mr. Smiths, to keep your cut looking fabulous, day after day. I Love love LOVE the ambiance of their studio!! It makes me feel refreshed and relaxed at the same time!! SERIOUSLY... go see these two! The loving energy they have is infectious. And they are more than talented!! Thank you so so so much Mane Duo! You know I’ll be seeing you soon!

This salon is the best. I come 55 miles, takes me 2 1/2 hours to get to them and 3 to get home. There is nobody better that I have found to do color, cut and style.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Misha and Joey are both incredibly talented! Joey has been the only hair colorist and stylist I've seen in years. He has taken me to brunette, highlighted, and back to blonde – he is great for BLONDE hair! – and has helped keep my hair healthy. In the years of coming here, I've seen every kind of client come in – from GRAY hair to CURLY hair and every type out there, they literally can do it all. I've also went through a lot of phases of blonde here: PLATINUM BLONDE, GOLDEN BLONDE, etc. Feels a lot more fun and relaxing than other salons– unpretentious & you always leave happy. Joey also was THE person I chose to do my BLONDING (is that a word?) before my WEDDING! BEST SALON EVER.

The duo are super accommodating and friendly. Misha definitely understands how to work with my hair and listens to what I ask of him. Price is fair for the area. Overall service is great. Will continue to come back.
