This is the best loctician I’ve met to date. I walk in and go straight to the bowl, very professional and the setting at the shop is outstanding. If you want to visit a shop where you’re in and out and you hair is everything you wished, you should come and ask for Ty! ❤️❤️❤️

yes, she's capable of doing good work. something of which anyone can accomplish if given the appropriate amount of time and adequate resources. however, her arrogant, hoiler-than-thou attitude has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I won't be returning. please learn some gratitude.

I was in the city for a business conference a couple of weeks back. I desperately needed my hair done and every salon I contacted was booked and busy, (shame on me for not going to my stylist before I jumped on the plane)…I finally reached Mane Tamed and spoke with Tyeisha whom not only was warm and welcoming over the phone, but she did fit me into her schedule that day! I walked into the salon and it was pleasantly clean, peaceful and the professionalism that I received upon arrival was exceptional. My services were thoroughly enjoyed. Whenever I’m in the area I will definitely return to Mane Tamed Hair Salon.

Second time getting my hair done by Mrs. Ty, and I am pleased with her amazing performance. She has awesome customer service. Mrs. Ty is welcoming, warm, and friendly. ( now and days great customer service is rare). I love the aesthetics, and the vibe of her salon. She knows what she is doing, and to add I am a busy lady Mrs. Ty is immensely fast,neat,and good with her hands. I leave her chair looking, and feeling salon finished. I'm natural my silk press last as long as I take care of it. Thank you Mrs. Ty for my awesome experience.

Highly recommend! I am a new client and I think I am up to 4 visits. I walk in and she gets started right away; I have never had to wait for any length of time and I love that! The salon is always clean and nicely decorated. To top it off, my hair is always styled perfectly! Thx Ty!

I've gotta say, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a salon in a while. I paid a down-payment to secure my appointment a week earlier. I asked her up front if that payment would be deducted from the final cost, and she said yes. She ended up adding it to my final cost anyway (which she did by walking out to my car as I was about to leave and told me at the last second. I'd already paid the initial agreed upon amount). It is a deceptive business practice and very unprofessional. I didn't care for how she would take a phone call and step away occasionally. I understand that one must answer the phone for business, but when I am sitting in the chair waiting to be served and you walk off for a personal call, it is unacceptable. I was baffled when she ran out of product in the middle of doing my hair. She left me in the salon alone to go buy more. The resulting extra time added to my appointment was completely unacceptable, and I felt like the stylist had not planned adequately for the services she was providing. Not only that, but the hairstyle was subpar. I ended up washing it out shortly after because I was displeased with the way it was done. I asked for starter locs and she gave me coils with gel, which is the least effective way to do it. I realize now that I should have vetted more and asked more questions about the process. Horrible experience and a waste of money.
