Manespace is the place! It’s not easy going independent but Manespace makes it possible. Nice relaxing vibe that feels more like a home than a workplace. My clients appreciate the convenient location and they love the vibe of the communal space as well as the privacy of my studio. What sold me was the flexibility, which I didn’t find at the other co work options. Arturo designed the space with love and treats everyone like family, really genuine guy! 5 stars

I am bicoastal between LA and NYC. I travel to NYC every 10-12 weeks and I rent a space with mane space for 3 days and I book around 15-25 people each visit. It’s been now over 2 years and I truly have no complaints. For 1 the space is so beautiful, my clients love it. Then the booking is always so easy and accommodating. Then you have the staff. The owner is a gem. Super kind but also a cool guy. He pops in here and there when I’m there and always is so warm and welcoming.. The girls that take care of the floors are all so kind and on top of their jobs. They make sure I always have towels and capes ready to go and they keep the seating area so clean and comfortable for the guest. I love this place and I will keep renting for as long as I’m traveling back and fourth!

After 30+ years of working in noisy, over-filled and cramped salons, and dealing with the disruption in the personal care industry due to the worldwide pandemic, deciding to take control of my business and go out on my own has been a life changing move. ManeSpace has made this transition comfortable and successful! From the loft-y eclectic décor to the supportive Community Hosts, my clients love the space and have immediately felt "at home"! The well thought-out design allows salon energy to flow throughout the space while maintaining a private experience with my clients. I love the community that is fostered and I never feel isolated, like I did in my old Salon Suite. If you have ever thought about leaving the burdensome oversight and low commission rates you may find in some NYC salons behind, I highly recommend ManeSpace for your business. It has been a wonderful new "home" for me and my clients and the perfect spot for my business to thrive! I would definitely recommend checking out Manespace!

Manespace is an amazing place to work! Before quarantine, I was working at a larger salon in the city and decided it was time to work for myself and I wanted a cute private and SAFE space to see my clients when we started working again. Manespace has been exactly that! Management helped me with all of the licensing and stuff I needed to get started on my own, as well as answered any questions I had about being self-employed (even referred me to a great accountant!) Clients love the space and feel super safe. If you are in the city and looking for a great space to see your clients more one-on-one, Manespace is the place for you! My life changed as soon as I heard of Manespace almost 4 years ago. I was unhappy with the lack of independence of my schedule at my last salon. I wanted more freedom, I wanted to expand my career, I wanted to give my clients a more one on one experience... to truly be my own boss. I met Arturo and my life truly has not been the same since. He personally helped me start my LLC, he's been supportive and caring since the first day I arrive and my business has blossomed since I joined the Manespace family. The space is stunning, the staff is efficient and friendly. The location is ideal for all of my clients coming from all over the city (and outside the city)...its a perfect home away from home. I love being surrounded with other motivated like minded individuals, since starting my LLC I have traveled all over the world as an educator, I've had more time for my creativity and have won awards, created amazing bonds with clients and just all round elevated life both professionally and personally. None of that would have happened or been available to me with out the love, support and freedom of Manespace.

Thank God for MANESPACE is all I have to say!! I started taking clients here about three years ago. It's a warm, inviting space that guests love. It feels classy, clean and airy and allows you, as a stylist, to run your business the way you see fit. There are a variety of plans to book time in your own private room and the floor managers keep everything sanitized and stocked for your busy days. It's a stress free environment where any stylist can thrive. A note to those worried about COVID- I have never worked at such a meticulously clean salon space with community hosts that stay on top of Covid Protocols day in and day out. My clients and I always feel safe and taken care of. Come join us if you are looking for a new salon home. You will not regret it!!

In July 2020 I began working at ManeSpace and it was the best decision I could have made for my career and my well being. I love working there and my clients love seeing me there. The suites are beautifully designed with all of the things that a stylist needs for the day. The ManeSpace team is organized and attentive while giving you plenty of space to "do your thing". I would recommend working there to anyone who is ready to start their own business or continue to do so!

Looking for a great location, like minded creatives and a vibe that words can’t describe… it’s called Manespace. I was terrified to leave the salon world behind (and the toxicity we accept with it) but I did it and couldn’t have been happier. Along the journey, I have met so many others like me that just want to create beauty without boundaries or definitions. On top of the numerous opportunities to expand and network your platform here , the owner cares and shows it! Always clean; Always maintained; And no jokes when it comes to Covid-19 protocols (clients and I appreciated that). So glad I made that leap and wish I did it sooner.

Manespace is amazing! My partner and I never dreamed we'd find a space that could make us and our clients feel as much at home as we do here. We owned our own boutique loft salon for over 12 years and decided to close so we could have more freedom. Manespace has been the perfect fit! We feel so welcome and cared for every time we walk in the door. AND..The aesthetic is great (which is rare in "rental" spaces). We are now free to live out of state and come back every month to do our clients in an environment we can be proud to call home. We seriously couldn't be happier here.

I started renting at Manespace Fall 2020 and I couldn’t be happier as a colorist and stylist. Manespace has custom tool stations, private rooms with your own shampoo sink and chair, storage and of course an amazing atmosphere for my clients to fall I love with. I am more than pleased with the space and our full time community host, David, who is there to help us with anything we may need through out the day. David is quick to check on the stylists, replenish clean capes and towels and maintain the covid protocol that makes everyone feel safe. Hands down the best rental experience / salon experience for all involved.

I was looking for a space with flexibility after becoming a traveling stylist bouncing between 2 cities as well as a safe space during covid. I’m writing this review as a long-time NYC colorist to other stylists/ colorists who may be looking for a new home for their clientele, as well as for clients who are about to enter the space. After quarantine I was looking for a safe, private place to bring my clients. Manespace on 5 is like a little hidden speakeasy that opens up to high ceilings, huge open windows and brand new private suites for clients. Temperatures are checked before anyone even enters the space and everything is kept immaculately clean by the staff. My clients love the boutique setting and the location is easily accessible, even for clients coming in from out of town. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to make a change in the coming year.

Love Love love Manespace! Especially Jasmine! We go way back and she is a pro at both cutting and styling! She gave me my very first lob haircut and she did an excellent job! I highly recommend this salon and the location is central and perfect. Not to mention the interior of the salon makes you feel like you are in your own living room! They take covid seriously and put their clients health first getting tests weekly to ensure the safest possible environment. Highly recommend!

The ambiance is welcoming, the music is uplifting and the suites have privacy with open air vaulted ceilings so you can hear laughter throughout but also enjoy a one on one experience with your stylist.
