If you’re looking for a quick, relatively pain-free and very inexpensive wax, look no further. Mamta truly is the absolute best. I hate pain and have very sensitive skin and she really is the best there is. She provides her cell phone number and is always happy to schedule you or see you last minute. The pricing is truly unmatched for how skilled she is. She’s also very kind and will put you at ease.

The best place to go for a wax! Mamta is incredible! She is fast, affordable, and unbelievably kind. She is like a mom to you and does her work with minimal pain and the result is suuuuper clean. I have very sensitive skin, but I recover completely within 24 hours. I have a crazy-busy schedule, but twice now she's been able to find time for me to have an appointment on my lunch break! 100% would recommend to men and women! She's my #1 choice in the city!!

I’ve been coming to this salon for 3 years to see Mamta for my eyebrows and waxing. Before I came here my eyebrows were so thin and unnatural looking. Mamta helped me grow out my eyebrows to my desired shape. She was so sweet and patient through my journey. I can’t thank her enough for being the absolute best!!! I don’t even have to look at my eyebrows once she’s finished because I trust her and hey let’s face it, her work speaks for it self. Thank you Mamta for your great service!!!!!!!!!!

Randomly went here once and it is a gem. I've since move to Brooklyn but still go here exclusively for my haircuts because Lorenza is great. Normally a haircut this good would cost 3 or 4 times the price.

I went to Manhattan Unisex a few days ago to get me and my cousins eyebrows threaded. We were a bit skeptical because you just never know with some places. However, when we first walked in the place was clean, and the workers greeted us upon entering. There's one lady who does threading from what I saw. She's really kind and goes based off of how YOU like your eyebrows. Even after she threads and you feel like she might've missed something she has no problem going back in and fixing it according to your liking. My eyebrows are very fine, scattered, and uneven lol. She didn't try to make them match each other like most do. She just cleaned them up which made a huge difference. And to finish it off she put some ointment closely similar to Aquaphor to prevent scaring or irritation. It's my first time getting my eyebrows done in general (threaded or waxed). The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 stars is because it's a day after and I have a few red bumps around my brow bone. Pretty sure my skin is sensitive to all the friction and I'll just follow up with more aquaphor.
