I stumbled across this lovely salon while visiting from out of town. I booked with Justin, who was a true pleasure to spend time with. He gave me a great cut, as well as fresh advice on styling. He is clearly talented and has a big heart, as well as a keen eye for health, beauty and trends. Highly recommend!

Jamie is THE BEST hairstylist!! I’ve been seeing her for the past three years and will follow to any salon she’s at! Her personality and skills are unmatched. Always love my hair after any cut and easily the best hair wash I’ve ever received. If you are looking for an NYC stylist look no further!

there are sooo many hairstylists in nyc, and finding one you like is like finding your glass slipper! i have been looking for “the one” for several years, and finally found him at manzanilla! i got a fabulous haircut from justin, who also gave me lots of recommendations on how to style and wash my hair. you’re not just leaving with a great haircut, but you’re getting a professional consultation on how to best care for your hair moving forward. highly recommend!

Love seeing my girl Jamie. I got a trim, balyage face framing and purple hair coloring and I am obsessed. I'll always go see here to get my hair needs done. She also really listens to what it is you want to do and will give you solutions to your hair worries.

I couldn’t be happier to have stumbled across Manzanilla Hair Studio when I was looking for a new stylist in the city. I see Mariagracia for my haircuts and have never been happier. She takes her time, cuts my hair exactly the way I ask her to and my hair ALWAYS comes out better than expected. She’s also super kind and fun to talk to. The salon is so beautiful, the windows and natural light really do make the experience so much better. She always has stunning local artwork on the walls. Love love love.

I love seeing Justin for my regular haircuts. I found him when I was looking for a real change in my style. I needed something more mature and right for my face. When we first met we talked about what I wanted and what he thought was best - I was so happy with the first cut and haven't looked back. He gives me a clean fade that looks awesome every time. More than that, he's super fun to talk to and we catch up every session. I highly recommend checking him out!

Justin is an incredibly talented colourist. He has the highest level of care for his craft. Before my first appointment he did a very thoughtful consultation - I don’t know much about hair, but i know what i like and dont like on myself, and he is thorough in asking lots of questions pulling up example pics and talking through details to make sure we were on the same page about what i wanted. He does a great job and hair looks amazing. I’ve gone back regularly since and my hair is the healthiest and best looking its ever been. Could not recommend more highly!

Justin is the best - never trusted anyone with cutting my hair more than him! I always have a great time going in to see him, catching up and getting my hair done. I have been going to Justin for over two years and go in every 6-8 weeks for touchups and cuts. He always works with what I am looking for every cut and I look to him for suggestions/expertise as well. He is such a talented hairstylist and I highly recommend him for haircuts or any hairstyling needs!

Mariagracia has been cutting my hair since ~2018. I haven’t gone to anyone else since that first haircut with her! She’s a genius, an artist, and she really cares about you enjoying your hair. I have very curly hair and a lifetime of getting terrible haircuts, even from experienced stylists. I’ve never had such a successful run of haircuts with anyone. I’ll be going to Mariagracia until she retires!

A friend referred me to Stefanie King a few years ago and she's given me the best, most fun-but-still-classic, haircuts! I'd never gotten so many compliments after a particularly stylish bob :) After a stint outside the city, I was so excited to come in for a cut this spring and she did not disappoint....looking forward to my next cut!

I don’t know where to begin. Stefanie has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years. I’ve been with her since her journey as a student to being a master stylist. I always leave her chair feeling so posh.. she has the eye and skill that enchances one’s beauty. Aside from giving amazing haircuts, she is extremely thoughtful and her energy is so warming. I love Stefanie King’s cuts at this bright and cute salon. She listens carefully, and she also has great ideas for how to update my long, wavy layers. I don’t use a hairdryer, so a great cut is key for me, and I’m always pleased with how Stephanie works with my hair type and face shape. She has a designer’s eye, and I also love the shorter cuts I’ve seen her give to other clients. Besides her skill as a hairstylist, she has a warm and thoughtful presence. I’m sensitive about the way my head and hair are touched, so I appreciate the care Stephanie takes at all stages of the process.

Mariagracia always nails it, whether I come in with a specific idea or just some vague comment. She listens and communicates so well, and I always feel like I get the cut I asked for. She’s given me a range of styles from creative bobs to long dramatic layers. I let my fresh cut air dry today, and it is still looking amazing after a day outside in the wind, rain, humidity. Stefanie King has been cutting my hair for the better part of a decade and her precision and attention to detail are so incredible that I've stuck with her ever since. Her haircuts feel great after weeks / months. My mother and sister-in-law commute in from far out on Long Island to get their haircut from her now too and booked her for my sister-in-laws wedding. She is a true artist--her cuts are masterful and nuanced to the point where they look completely natural while making me feel amazing. On top of her talents, she is a deeply kind, considerate, and warm human and I'm lucky to know her and can't recommend her enough!

Stefanie King has been cutting our hair (mine and my husband's) for 5+ years. She has a keen eye and the matching skill to sculpt our best look. She listens carefully and thoughtfully to what our wishes and goals are and works on our hair with a wonderful eye and sure cut. She takes her time and takes great pride in her craft.
