It took them a while to get started on me. The process was 7 hours. Findly got two braiders. They are reasonably priced, and they did a great job. I would definitely return.

I remember why i stopped coming here now! My hair was done not how i showed (pic 1) and the lady that game in to work on my front she was overly aggressive doing my hair, im closed my eyes for a while and she screams “WAKE UP” cus my head was to the side which was her fault cus she kept tilting my head and then yanking it back towards her which was hurting my head. Then she made me get out of the chair halfway through my hair being done and walk to the atm to take out money (she was literally breathing down my neck when i went to the atm, there was literally no need for that) and when i gave her the money, she left. She didn’t even close the ends on my hair and she left strings out of the braiding hair for no reason at all. I had to go and buy my own hair cus the shop owner said she couldn’t curl the hair anymore cus of complaints and this lady came in and started leaving strands out of my hair which now have to be curled……and she was overly aggressive and rude and she stuck the tip of the comb in her ear to scratch it and then put it back in my hair. I also asked her to leave my edges out and on one side she did but the other side is a single strand(ig she was too worried about the money to care about her customers satisfaction)I asked for my hair in medium sized box braids( was told it’ll only be 3-4 hours)and i was given the small(was in the chair for 10am-6pm) So my hair was messed up and i asked the other braiders if they could fix it and they gave me attitude, for what?! idk cus i already paid so shouldn’t my hair be done correctly?! So as i said, now i remember why i stopped coming here!! Oh and also i had to leave without my ends being closed and now my braids are coming undone✨ I want my money back!

Very VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE! They do not know how to talk to people, and they don’t follow directions! My daughter came in for Senegalese twists and it took 10 hrs because the lady kept stopping, eating and talking on her phone. Then was complaining the whole time and making smart remarks! I do not recommend this shop at all! If I could give 0 stars I would!!!! Do not go here !!! Very unprofessional!!!

Loveee this place been goin here forever but haven't been n ah lil plus I don't have hair anymore lol soo but I started back koming a few months ago for my daughter hair to get it braided ND stuff yuh knoe to keep up with it since I don't hardly comb it anymore but anywho GREATTT PLACEEE I LOVEEEE MARIEEE SHE'S A DILLY!!!..ND THEY BRAID AWESOMENESS SO KEEP UP THE LOVELY WORK MARIE🧡💯🤞🙏🏼💗🎉🎊🥇

Lady T did her thing with my hair yesterday. I gave her a call early that morning to see If she had any availability for a walk in. Thankfully she did as walk ins for her happen very frequently and there is very limited availability if you don’t call in advance. She did my knotless braids with beads on the end and when I tell you she SLAYED. Exactly as I imagined it would look. Very neat. She constantly checked on me as I was very restless at points but she was very professional and patient at the end of the day. She worked with my circumstances and never came off rude or annoyed even though it was a lot going on yesterday for the both of us. She does her job and she does it well. I highly recommend this hair shop and I recommend you make an appointment to avoid any last minute confusion. I will definitely be back. I have not been to a hair shop in over 5 years so it is refreshing to come back and have the customer service I desperately wanted. Clients, please be patient and understand that your every desire cannot be met on the spot. It pays off in the long run.

This place has been around forever. At least 20 years. Marie is the epitome of love and kindness. She and her staff work tirelessly and together to reduce the time their clients have to sit to have their hair braided. The reason I keep going back to Marie's is because she will allow me to create styles that I choose. We've worked together to alter particular types of synthetic hair to achieve beautiful natural looks.
