Amy is great. She even accommodated me after closing hours. She is friendly gave me a great cut and accepts Venmo. Her husband was hanging out too and was very friendly and chatty. Yes it’s not a fancy salon or barber shop but gets the job done right in the neighborhood and not a chain store.

-1 Amy always ALWAYS double book your appointment. Sometimes triple. -1 when it comes to men’s fade, it’s decent. There has been times she misses a spot. -1 she literally is just thinking about the money, which again, is why she double books to gain as much as possible. She doesn’t care about the client at the end. -1 it’s a small salon and can be a crowded. I booked a time for 445pm, looked outside the window and there were 3 kids ahead of me. I turned around and decided to go to Simply Cuts. Cliff is great and much cheaper.

The best little (now well known) hair salon in the Marina district of San Francisco. The two owners are gracious, warm and caring. They work hard to make you feel welcomed and look good. They are always busy with all types of customers and are very accommodating. Perfect place to get your hair done (men, women and children). I promise you will look 10 better leaving than you do waking in. They will fix your right.

Only reason I considered not giving a 5 star review is I don’t want everyone to know about this place. Amy is the best!!! Not only gives great haircuts and goes the extra mile, she’s so kind and hilarious to talk to. Won’t be going anywhere else as long as I live in the marina.

A friend recommended Marina Hair Salon after I mentioned overpriced and mediocre haircuts in the Marina. Tl;dr the Marina Hair Salon is great! The haircuts are extremely affordable ($30 for men) and high quality. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future and I highly recommend the salon.

Hands down by FAR the best place to get your hair cut. I am not the most outspoken person when getting haircuts, but the hospitality they have here, makes it very easy for me to describe exactly what I want! As a matter of fact, it’s almost like they know exactly what I want. They constantly ask questions, and make sure I like the haircut as we progress. They take their time, and also make sure that they cut your hair step by step, so they don’t overdo it. I am 21 years old, and I often find it hard to find locations that cut hair in my age group. This will be my location for haircuts for years to come.

Just visiting SF and stumbled on this place thanks to the reviews. I had a cut from Amy and was super pleased with it. My hair isn’t the simplest to cut and she did a great job. She’s also very nice to chat to! Would highly recommend.

Love this place. An affordable haircut in the marina at a great price. They actually shape your hair the way you’d like, instead of the standard cheap “clean up” cut that similarly priced places do. 100% recommend Marina Hair Salon!

Great place to get a budget friendly haircut. Felt that they did not dry my hair properly after the haircut as there were lot of customers waiting. Highly recommend to book an appointment with them before. Otherwise they are great.

Second time getting my hair cut here. These ladies are wonderful. I definitely recommend! For reference: I have very thick shoulder length hair and I cut it chin length.

This was my first salon experience ever. Yes i know, kind of weird lol.. But Amy made it wonderful and she was the kindest soul ever. She's such a great communicator and a listener. Even though the salon was closing soon, she stayed for an extra hour doing my hair. I loved the final results as well as her🥹. And i doubt i will ever go to other salons except hers in SF.
