I was a little hesitant before making my final decision going to Mariposa Transformation Wellness Center to treat the pain on my knees. My wife recommended me to Dr. Michelle Lucero and the process was very painful while under going the treatment; but the result is much more gratifying; that I strongly encourage anybody to go, in order for them to aliviate any type of pain that they're currently suffering. I feel that the constant knee pain was gone after the first visit. I will say that the process can be a little rough, but I prefer short paint versus having to live with pain on a daily basis. Dr. Lucero is very knowledgable and professional on giving health and wellness tips to live a pain free life.

I was experiencing back pain that wouldn’t get better, was referred to Michelle with Mariposa Transformation for PRP treatment, Michelle was thorough with assessment and dedicated all the time needed to tackle my pain. The PRP treatment was very painful in the short term and well worth because the special treatment I received from Michelle was very effective in decreasing my pain level. She also took the time to teach me holistic modalities I could use to tackle the pain before it gets worse. I highly recommend Michelle with Mariposa Transformation because she is a health care professional that truly cares about helping the people that walk through her office door. I also liked that besides PRP she offers many other services such as vaginal rejuvenation, erectile disfunction treatment, hair loss treatment with highly positive results.

I went to mariposa because I was in a car crash, I had a lot of pain in my wrist, after getting the treatment I had 0 pain, the treatment hurts while your getting it but I would totally recommend it. Btw Michelle Lucero is awesome.

Michelle is amazing. I cannot thank her enough for getting me back to walking and getting mobility back in my arm. Following a horrible car accident I lost mobility on my right arm and right knee. I was recommended to get PRP injections to help with my recover. Before meeting Michelle I had no clue what PRP therapy was but figured it was worth a shot to get back to normal. I went to meet her and She explained everything thoroughly. I will say that it hurt like hell after the first set of injections for a few days. So bad I didn't want to go back again. But seeing the results I got after one session it was a no brainer that this therapy was working. I went through all four sessions on my shoulder with each one getting easier and easier to handle. The next day you are sore as if you worked out hard at the gym but when I went from not being able to move my arm to regaining full function I could not help but to thank her. I had to go back to have my knee done. If the shoulder wasn't bad enough the knee was way worse. Omg did I cry, scream, yell, everything. But same thing the results after treatment were worth going back. Once again able to walk. I've had such great results with her treatments I will definitely be going back if I need her again. For now I'm doing great. I could not be happier with going through her for treatment because it takes a special person to provide the service she does.

Michelle is great! She is very thorough with gathering medical history and takes her time, treating you as an individual and not as a diagnosis. I had PRP injections to several trigger points, for treatment of areas of chronic pain. This treatment is meant to be repeated over several visits. I do not live in the area and only had the opportunity for one visit. This is NOT a pleasant, relaxing experience. If that is what you are seeking, this is not for you. Trigger points are painful, sticking needles in them is painful and applying pressure to try to get them to release is painful! You will be sore afterward and you may bruise afterward. This is a means to an end and you will need to remind yourself of this, when you want to cry. BUT...if you want an option for pain relief, PRP treatment is worth consideration. One treatment decreased the nerve pain in my lower leg for about 2 weeks. I have had no reoccurrence of the "catching" pain in my knee. I am so encouraged by the results of one treatment that I will be seeking a provider that offers PRP treatment, near where I live. If I lived in the Albuquerque area, I would definitely have continued this treatment at Mariposa!

Michelle is very knowledgeable and personable. I received 4 PRP treatments for my back pain. I was in a lot of aching and throbbing pain prior to my treatments.The pain during the treatment is intense and the sailor in me came out which Michelle was okay with. If your not able to tolerate pain this might not be for you. Michelle really cared about my progress and spent a lot of time understanding my needs and answering my concerns. I did feel in good hands and at ease knowing Michelle background and experience. I started feeling some noticeable relief after my second treatment as my tenderness and aching lowered. Also decrease muscle tightness, more flexibility when I turn. By the final treatment, I felt so much better; the pain I endured during those treatments was all worth it! I Have a peace of mind that I choose a holistic approach for my back pain
