I have been going to this salon for years. Anthony is an ARTIST and takes excellent care of his business. He has cared for my relaxed hair; helped me transition to natural; has cut it, styled it, colored it; I’ve gotten it braided. He did my hair for my wedding. EVERYTHING. All of the stylists are EXCELLENT. They are professional & punctual. I am so grateful for this establishment & couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. This salon is truly a gift to the city of Pittsburgh.

I live in Lawrence county where, as far as I know, there is no where for an African American woman to get her hair done. I was so pleased to find Mark Anthony Salon in Oakland. Anthony Jefferson gave me a great cut on my natural hair. He and his staff are kind and engaging. I am very pleased!

Anthony is an extremely gifted artist. This is the first time in years that I walked out of a hair salon and thought : MY HAIR LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND A SYTLIST THAT CUTS MY HAIR EXACTLY AS I DESCRIBED MY VISION TO HIM. BRAVO !!! Thank you Anthony you are a natural talent. I would not think of ever going anywhere else.

I called and got an appointment the next day. I came in a few hours before the appointment time and they were able to take my daughter early. You can tell they truly care about their clients. Very nice staff and they do a great job!

I come to Pitts, from NYC, twice a year to visit my daughter and son in law. I have locs and Mark Anthony staff always takes good care of me and my hair. Very friendly and professional ❤️

Lovely and convenient place! Anthony was my barber and he is a fun and very experienced person. Get an appointment! Not the most affordable place but very worth the price if you want any haircut done by experts.
