Super experience each time I’ve visited the salon. Toshia L did my hair and has a great way of moving me and my ideas from pictures and general hair trends into a great color and cut- keeping the integrity of my long hair. I loved it.

Just moved here from Atlanta with my Atlanta stylist's Redken formula for my hair color. The Mark Christopher Salon had everything I needed! Sarah took a thorough look at my hair and immediately knew what needed to be addressed and did a superb job with my color AND my cut! Toshia is hands down my favorite stylist! She went above and beyond to find the perfect shade and tone of blonde for me, taking extra time and care to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Not only is she insanely talented, but she’s also funny, friendly and quick at what she does! Highly recommend her if you want your hair to look beautiful and have a great time doing it!

Robert was phenomenal. Normally I have a LOT of anxiety when it comes to trusting someone with my hair, but for the first time I felt none of that. He was kind, funny, and most importantly he was HONEST with me. I finally made the hair move that I wanted to and I’m thrilled!!! Will definitely be using Robert in the future.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Sarah and her exceptional skills with both color and hair cutting! She has an incredible eye for detail and always seems to know exactly what will look best. She listens to what I want but also offers great suggestions that take my look to the next level. The color she created for me is absolutely stunning, and the cut is so precise and flattering. I am naturally dark, and any colorist I have ever gone to has never been able to lift me bright enough. Sarah's talent and expertise make every visit a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Ashley Nicole is the ONLY stylist that I trust with my hair! She’s a blonde expert and somehow has the ability to cut my hair in a way that my fine hair has volume and even looks great when it starts growing out! 10/10

Robert knows hair and honesty. I went in for my very first appointment today and I had not had a haircut in a very long time. My hair was in bad shape… before I could even explain He knew exactly what was wrong and told me how to fix it and then executed. I walked in ready to shave my head and walked out in love with my hair again thank you Robert.

First haircut was wonderful. They charged me for a missed appointment. The thing is they tried to delay my appointment to a time in the day I couldn’t make. I immediately responded that I would need to cancel the appointment. This is a change on their part and not my responsibility. I understand if an appointment is missed on the part of the customer. This was not it. Filed fraudulent charge with my credit card company. Will not go back. This is shady business at best.

I had a fantastical cut + color with Robert this week. He's likely the most experienced and sophisticated stylist in the Raleigh-Durham. He knows hair inside out — an artist. I have short hair and am thrilled to have found him. I'm sure whatever your age, personal style, or length of hair, Robert will give you the cut/style/color of your life. Read all of these reviews and you will see how special he is. He could work at any salon in NYC, Paris, LA, or London. I'm so glad he's here! You will be too.

I’ve been looking for my person for YEARS. I randomly booked an appointment and chose Sarah for cut and color. Let me tell you…she’s a PRO. I showed her an inspiration photo and she nailed it. Not to mention she gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. No weird stray pieces that I had to fix at home. I also love that Sarah took her time but I wasn’t there forever. She was quick but I wasn’t rushed. Cut or color - Sarah is your girl.

Sarah is amazing! She has totally transformed my hair. I have been going to her for about a year now and starting from the first time sitting in her chair, I have always felt super comfortable with her and her ability to help me achieve my hair goals. She is very personable and has a TON of experience in the industry. She is not pushy at all and you can tell she’s loves what she does. I have never left her chair unhappy which unfortunately has been hard for me say over the years! I always look forward to my next appointment with her !

Scheduled a highlight and haircut. Robert- felt he wanted to tell me what I wanted and refused to do anything else. I have long hair and he wanted to cut 4 inches and wouldn't do anything else saying he couldn't touch my hair unless he did it. The color, he wanted to change. I like the color. It's what I pay for and want. I didn't ask for a consultation. I asked for an appointment to have services for the same hair cur and highlight I always get. I don't want a Dubai or Mariah Carey hair cut. I want what I personally like. That's two examples. He spoke to me extremely rude, unprofessional and was arrogant. I will not be returning. I would find a different salon unfortunately.

Today, Robert did my highlights. It is the best hair I have had in a long time! He recreated the hair in my inspiration picture so well that I could not believe it. He is not the soft, bubbly stylist I used to see for hair color. He is confident and rough (which scared me a bit, to be honest). He is the best if you want highlights and a minimum of small talk(which I like).

I love this salon! I have never had a bad experience and having been going for over a year. I have definitely found the place for all my hair needs. The front desk staff is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ashley is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She does phenomenal work. I go for color, styling, blowouts and cuts and she has NEVER let me down. I literally couldn’t be happier with the services i receive! I highly recommend!

I was struggling with my hair and unsure what to do with it. Robert heard me and gave me really good advice. My hair looks fantastic and he gave me exactly what I wanted despite not knowing how to ask for it. Sarah also did a great job making my very blonde eyebrows look nice and compliment my hair with a tint and wax. She made sure the color was right! I will definitely return to Mark Christopher Salon.

Robert at Mark Christopher Salon is Fabulous! The first time in my life (74 years old) that someone understood my hair. Although very respectful of any ideas I had, he was able to show me the length and cut that suits me. I'm soon going to be moving but I plan to travel 2+ hours for my haircuts with Robert. Best haircut ever!!!

Terrible hair color and cut $350. I am a blonde, came in to add a few more low lights for with some low lights for dimension and came out completely entire head dark brown, no blonde at all. Cut was equally bad when I expressed concern about the color the stylist just smiled and said it would fade???? The next morning I sent my written concern to the salon but the owner never replied it has been over a week and a half. Have to go to another salon for a color correction and recut. Not fading at all still completely brown no blonde. Never had brown hair before, much less dark brown.

I came in asking for the stylist to blend my lighter ends with my darker blonde hair for a more dimensional look. Color looks good but it’s definitely old school highlights rather than the balayage I wanted, and way lighter than I intended. After washing I realized it’s extremely damaged and dry, kinda melting and breaking off. after 10 days or so of deep conditioning and masks at home I called to see if there was a treatment to help, and was suppose to have a manager call me back. I didn’t hear from anyone. Not really what I expected after spending over $400 for the service
