I was having a terrible and very emotional day when I went in for a haircut and a beard trim. The stylist was great! She was full of great advice and had all of the knowledge in her field. She went over and beyond to make sure that I was very satisfied! I will be going here every time that I need work on my hair or beard, and Her lines were on point and as straight as my prolly soon to be ex-wife but not nearly as crazy. I'm not ashamed to be emotional, it merely shows how much I used to care! Honesty is always the best choice!

This is my new family hair care place. Braids, weave, wigs, locks, barbers. The staff is top-notch. Everyone is friendly, and Desire Braids always delivers exceptional service. Thanks for everything Lexi, your work is always beautiful.

I can’t and won’t speak on the hair salon side of the business, but the barber side has been very unpleasant in my experience. My first time booking with this business I got an appointment for 9am when they open. I got there early enough to watch the employees open up the business. I got inside and took a seat waiting for the barber I booked with to show up. An hour went by before the owner asked me who I booked with. When I showed him my booking reservations, he pulled out his phone to call the guy. Then notified me that the guy had something come up and has to cancel. The second time I booke, I selected the guy who made the call for me. He turned out to be the owner of the shop. I booked for my 6yr old son and myself. I allowed my son to get his cut first. My son was moving a little in the chair while getting his cut which I guess frustrated the barber. He began to chastise my son to the point he began to cry from the things he said to him. It angered me but yet I held my composure. Now fast forward to today. I booked and appointment two days ago to get a cut at 9am with the first barber I booked with. Again I get there early around 840. I watch the ladies from the salon pull up and open the shop. I proceeded to sit in my car waiting for my barber until 930 before I logged in into the app to txt him and see if he still planned on coming in. No response. So I go into the shop and asked one of the ladies if the knew what was up with the barbers. She proceeds to tell me that their never late like that and that she would call him. Still no response. At this point it’s three guys outside waiting for any barber to show up. I left around 950 and don’t plan on every going back. Y’all go up there if you want to but I wouldn’t advise it. I believe in professionalism and promptness which are not attributes of this company.

I have to make sure to leave a stunning review. It was an amazing environment, Marcus squeezed me in for a walk in appointment and hooked me up with an absolutely nice and sharp high fade. It's done just the way I wanted even to the line work. I can't brag on him more. I told him a basic idea and let him do what he ABSOLUTELY does best. Definitely gonna go back when I'm in the area for more work.

I went in for a consultation advised to be on time so I showed up 20mins before my appointment which was at 4pm, I did not get seen until after 430pm due to her running behind with another client. I got a few good tips from her on products but when I messaged later to ask questions, it fell on deaf ears and never got a response back. I decided not to schedule a wash and style due to CPT, I'm a very rigid believer of bring on time. So knowing that I sat for almost an hour after my appointment just for a consultation shows me that my time as a client is not valued and more on the stylist time. If the stylist was able to maintain a more rigid schedule I would most definitely book an appointment but I can't spend my entire day at a salon.

This babershop is the best in Wichita! Marcus and other babers in the place are amazing with haircuts. They are the nicest and attentive babers I have been to in wichita! MET this guy at tads couple months ago and tried out the barbershop see what they can do, never had a barber give such a clean cut with Twist in my hair especially the front edge, definitely like his professionalism, smooth fades. Once I get your name again I will shout you out.

i was sitting getting my dreads retwisted and i took a little nap for 5 minutes. when i woke up i found a roach on me. i screamed for help buy nobody listened and they all ignored me. next she was coloring my hair i fell asleep again to ignore the first roach and when i woke up the roach was gone but a PREGNANT SPIDER was on me. when i tried killing it baby spider eggs were everywhere. i screamed and more and then i just decided to perm because i didng do my dreadlocks how i wanted and called them grinch fingers by a stylist. then my perm burned all my hair off and my scalp got chemical burns. so thats when i decided to go bald. next thing i knew MY SCALP WAS BLEEDING. and my nails were ugly too so this place is bad dont clme ehre unless u want bugs and blood…AND THEY OVERPRICED 200 FOR LIGHTENING??? GIRL BYE.
