Marla has been beautifully high- and low-lighting my aging blonde hair for over 7 years. As well as cutting and coloring all 4 of my children. She is a fantastic listener of what each of us wants and then she executes to perfection. My daughter, who is a redhead and lives in NY, literally only lets Marla touch her color (red is a delicate balance). She is also a delight to chat with and gives the most amazing shampoo ever! 5 stars!!!!!

Marla has been my hair stylist for over fifteen years; I drive from Napa to San Jose to get my hair cut, color and styled. To me it’s worth it, I never feel worried about what I’m going to look like afterwards. This is because of Marla’s intuition; I do not need to tell her what I want; she listens to what I’ve got going on for the next couple of months: meetings/conferences etc. and then tells me what she’d like to do with my hair. Over the years my hair has revolved around my career and she has always had it be fun but conservative. My hair is always commented on by everyone and she’s taught me how to style my hair and look after it. Marla is not a hairdresser that you go to and leave with a fabulous look and then can’t do it yourself. If you ask her, she is happy to teach you how to style and maintain your hair! She’s the best; I definitely won’t go anywhere else.

Marla is the Best stylist for those of us having fine hair. I wanted a new hair style that was modern, fun and made my hair look naturally thicker and fuller. Marla worked her magic and Voila I had what Iwanted. . She even made a video for me so I was able to style it as she did. Pretty awesome. I am most grateful and thankful for her amazing talents. Marla has been cutting my hair for 4 years. Every haircut she has given me has been perfect. She listens to what I want, and is easy to talk to. Her studio is welcoming, I always look forward to my next haircut with her. She cuts my toddler’s hair as well, and he adores her. She is great with kids!

Marla has been my hair stylist for over 10 years! I have followed her to various studio’s over the years, and that is a reflection on the quality of services she provides. Marla is open & flexible to new products and styling. She is aligned with me in using the least chemical laden products available. The experience is spa like, fun and enjoyable! I highly recommend her to friends.

Marla has been my hairdresser for several years now and has always done a phenomenal job. She is professional and easy to talk with, always taking the time to listen to exactly what I want. I have gone to her for haircuts, styling, coloring, and special event updos. My daughter will be getting married in a few months, and Marla will definitely be my go-to hairstylist!

Marla is amazing with colors haircuts and styling. She is an expert that I drive from Santa Cruz to come see because she is worth the drive. My hair color is always magnificent and my cuts are stellar. I am never as happy with other stylists when I have tried them. Marla is simply the best in the business in my opinion. Marla started cutting and coloring my hair more than 20 years ago. I know I can trust her to cut my hair the way I want, and every time she colored it, it was always beautiful. Highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I have been going to see Marla for five years now and feel lucky to have found her. She cuts and colors my hair and I walk away thrilled every time. She takes her time to look at how my hair has grown and asks questions about how I style it and what I want. I’ve been to a lot of hairstylists but Marla is by far the best. My teenage daughter and young adult son now go to her and they also love her. My son could never get his hair to grow out without looking crazy until he went to Marla who took the time to examine how it grows and cut it so his cowlicks weren’t such a problem. If you are looking for a forever hairstylist, Marla should be your go to!
