Fell in love with Martha’s work the first time I came here. It is now my 5th time coming back and I love this salon. Martha and her ladies work so fast and efficient and her extensions are the best I ever had! 10/10.

I have been coming to Martha for years & will not go anywhere else to do my hair if it’s not with Martha. Hands of an angel, staff is great and hair care is 10/10. Definitely recommend.

I recommend Martha as a hairstylist; I have known her for, she has been the best for my curly hair type for many years. She is very lovely and understanding, make sure to come early as she tends to have a lot of clients.

I’ve been coming here for 3 yrs, and I only get my hair done here. Martha is so professional and my hair literally grows so much! Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Love her!!

Atmosphere: Not sure how I’ve not known about this place before. It’s very clean, even the vents. The staff are welcoming and kind. I’ve been there twice in November and both times have been wonderful. Next door is a barbershop. Cost: It is a cash only place. Price was reasonable. Services: weave, wash and set and a corrective cut

Martha’s Hair Studio is my favorite salon in the neighborhood! I’ve been getting my blowouts done with Yesenia and Martha for the last 5 years and I’m always so happy with the results. My hair always comes out healthy and well-styled and my blowouts always last me 1+ weeks. I have type 3b/3c hair texture. Very attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended!

I love it when people lie bc I always have proof to back it up. I recorded the conversation you guys were having about my hair. My hair was never in a knot 😂 I have before and after pictures as well. Please come with the TRUTH. You never asked me if I had braids before. The only thing you said to me was that my hair was tangled which was a lie your just not used to doing black people's hair be honest. You SPOKE about it amongst your coworkers In Spanish. How could you have asked me if I had braids if you barely speak English? I'm very aware of what discrimination is. Every time I've walked into that salon I asked can you guys do my hair and if you felt like you were incapable of doing so. Why aren't mentioning how aggressive your hair washer is? I took pictures of my hair coming on the floor bc y'all don't how to even comb it out right this sick. God bless anyone that comes I will be posting everything now to show who y'all are.

I’ve been coming to this hair salon for over 20 years and I have total confidence in this team of hairdressers, and manicurists too 😉💅! The price is reasonable and the women know what they’re doing. I would recommend this salon hands down. 🫶🏼💇🏻‍♀️🙌🏼👏🏼

I’ve been visiting Martha’s Hair Salon for the last two years and I love the treatment I receive when I visit. I travel all the way from Brooklyn and don’t mind the commute because I know when I visit the salon my hair will be treated well and the service is worthwhile!

Llevo años arreglándome con esta estilista, y siempre he recibido un servicio excelente. Es una profesional dedicada que siempre pregunta a sus clientes qué tipo de servicio les gustaría recibir, y mantiene una breve charla para asegurarse de que todo esté claro, como haría cualquier experto en su área. Nunca he visto que trate a nadie de forma personal o inadecuada; al contrario, siempre se asegura de ofrecer lo mejor para cada tipo de cabello y cliente. Su enfoque es siempre profesional y respetuoso. I have been getting my hair done with this stylist for years, and I have always received excellent service. He is a dedicated professional who always asks his clients what type of service they would like to receive, and has a brief chat to make sure everything is clear, as any expert in their area would do. I have never seen him treat anyone personally or inappropriately; On the contrary, it always makes sure to offer the best for each hair type and client. His approach is always professional and respectful.

Tengo mucho tiempo tratando mi pelo con Martha y no puedo quejarme del trato que siempre recibo y cómo cuidan mi pelo, simpre tienen un buen recibimiento y una buena actitud, lo mismo con Yocastia cuando te hago mis uñas . Tengo tiempo con el pelo largo y vengo desde new jersey arreglarme mi pelo ! Feliz de volver la próxima semana

Tengo tiempo arreglándome en Martha’s hair studio y tengo un pelo difícil de tratar, en el sentido que mi pelo es natural, bien rizo y nunca he tenido ningún tipo de inconvenientes, por el contrario todas son muy amables y le dedican el tiempo necesario a mi pelo! Aveces me hago trenzas en mi pelo y cuando me las quito antes de llegar al salón y les dejo saber antes de lavarme el pelo que tenía trenzas, porque con toda la grasa que me ponen cuando me hago tranza, debo desenredarme bien el pelo antes de mojarlo, para que no se haga un nudo en mi pelo, es mi responsabilidad avisarle antes… muy agradecida con el trato y siempre feliz con mi pelo 😍😍😍

They were very discriminating towards me. They didn’t know I spoke Spanish and realized that were criticizing me and my hair because I wasn’t Dominican and my hair type is 4c. They made me feel super unwelcome and handled my hair with very little care. The hair washer was super aggressive and rough to the point my hair started falling out badly while she was combing it. If you are black or don’t have very fine hair they will treat you very poorly.

Este salon abre temprano, lo cual se aprecia mucho en New York 🗽 Martha es super profesional, ella es amable, trabaja super rápido, el lugar es limpio, tranquilo, siempre con buena música. Llevo mucho años usando extensiones de pelo y la calidad del cabello, que compre aquí, es la mejor!!!

My recent experience was very pleasant. Martha was very professional and gave me the exact style I asked. The studio was very clean and bright with nice music. Excellent service, excellent care of my hair, my hair has been so healthy and the hair extensions was the best . I love going to get my hair extensions done here .
