The experience? The experience is -100 because Mary doesn’t concentrate well when she has her kids in the shop. Mary wenr from 70-80 dollars to overcharging me for simple 7-8 braids. She will have 3 other people working on your hair instead of her. She was eating food while braiding my hair which was not sanitary. I went to Mary for a year and the last time was my last time 1 month ago. She ruined the style I wanted and I asked if she could redo it and she got nasty on the phone. I was refunded only because I told her I would go to social media. Her shop is not up to par. She needs a a better sink which water seems to run down your neck and the seats are low. She needs a barber chair or so. *News Flash* While you talking garbage. 1st off you charge an extra 70 dollara for 8 braids. I’m not getting weave put it.Lucky i can get the same quality service for 75 bucks. So sorry to you but if you charging like that then why your shop lool like that? Rip off

I don’t like the fact when walking into a hair salon you never know the prices of the style when you’re in underneath the assumption that is going to be $80 cause that’s what she’s charged you before but now she has you put a $30 deposit down on her website $25 goes towards your service to where I end up paying $125 For a sew in when usually she charge you $80. Just wish I would’ve known pricing instead of just throwing prices out on clients

I got some cornrows and they were done perfectly I’ll definitely be coming back. Update: I went back and got the same thing done and I was charged 30 dollars more than last time, I did get 7 cornrows instead of 6. Still 5 star quality but I’m not sure why the up charge.

Mary braids was very attentive to my needs and did a fabulous job on my hair. I have very thick hair. She was the most understanding and patient and creative when doing my braids in my hair.

Mary and team delivers!! 👏👏👏 high quality work and beautiful energy are shared in this space. I showed Mary several photos for a unique combination of braids and hair extensions to prepare for our annual road trip to a dusty desert. She combined the pieces of my vision perfectly! Fair and reasonable pricing for the high quality and beautiful work that is provided. I am so grateful we found her last year and we’re excited to return and visit again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for braids in Omaha, especially creative designs.

She does a good job on my hair but she is a little too overpriced for me. I went to her shop twice an even sent a friend but each time her prices go up. Needs to have a set price an come down on them prices! Wont be returning.

I got micro tree braids done by Mary. It took her 7 hours to finish them. The first time I went she charged me $250. The second time I went she charged me $300. The third time I called to make an appointment and she said she would charge me $500. She said that she gave me a discount before because it was my first time. She expects me to believe she gave me a $250 discount. Lies! And her trying to now charge me $500 is ridiculous and greedy. What does she think she is?…a surgeon because that’s doctor money. I will never go back to her. On a good note, I found a different braider to do my micro tree braids and she charges me $180 and she does a better job than Mary did. I would tell anyone to stay away from Mary Braids if you don’t want to deal with price gouging.

Very nice staff. Knotless, waist length only took 4 hours. The salon is very clean and calm atmosphere.
