I have visited Haley Ramsay on two occasions for a haircut and gel manicure. I am kind of a restless client but Haley kept the whole experience fun, light, interesting and deeply refreshing. I loved my haircut and nails, left feeling a million $$$s, she is now my go to!

I'm a long time customer of Karen and she's an outstanding barber.... she also CARES about her customers. She spotted a dangerous Melanoma on the crown of my head where I would never see.SHE SAVED MY LIFE!!! I'm 5 years out and cancer free. Thank you Karen

Karen does an amazing job with my 3 boys. Gives us style we want everytime. There was no satisfying my boys.But Karen does everytime we go in. We live in Greenfield Indiana and it's well worth the drive for her to cut boys hair. Thank you Karen for all you do.

Made a same day appointment just before Christmas for my twelve-year-old, this was her 1st experience at a salon. The results were awesome, they've lasted for quite a few days. She had a wash dry and hot iron done for $65 with miss Amanda. Lovely esthetics to the place and lovely service.

I can't recommend Amanda enough! She listens to your suggestions and improves upon them and does such a great job with a pixie cut. Will absolutely recommend her to friends!

My mom purchased a Groupon advertising a Keratin treatment and a Brazilian Blowout from a stylist named Pam located here at Mary and Friends. My mother is multiracial and has extremely fine, smooth, curly hair. It is very manageable, not kinky, or tangly in the least bit. Upon arrival, Pam would not honor my mother’s appointment as she said her products are not for “African American” hair. My mother explained to her that she’s had many Keratin Treatments and Brazilian Blowouts done by other White Stylists, but still Pam refused to serve her. An experienced stylist should know and understand that “African American” Hair is not a one size fits all. There are many different hair types and textures regardless of race or skin color. It should’ve been very clear to Pam upon meeting my Mother and seeing her hair, that although her skin is brown, her hair texture is easy to work with and lends itself to many different products and styles that may not be marketed to “African American” hair. Pam’s actions and choice to use products “not intended for African American hair” is extremely racist. Could it be that she simply did not want to serve a woman of a different race? Regardless of the reason I would never allow an inexperienced stylist to touch my hair. Stylists should be knowledgeable about all hair types and textures. This is simply ridiculous and unacceptable.

Pam has done my hair for about 18 months now. The shop is clean and cute, and the staff always has great service! Easy to schedule appointments and I always get appointment reminders a few days prior to my visit. Everyone has been very friendly, and I always look forward to getting my hair done. Pam is very knowledgeable about hair and professional with clients. Reasonable prices. I’ve always been very happy with the service! Would definitely recommend her as a stylist.

This salon is awesome ! All the stylist are super friendly and outgoing ! Pam has been doing my hair for going on a year ! May I add I have super long hair and a mom of 2 that barely has time to do my hair! And she makes it perfect and feels like she knocks a few years off me ! She’s so friendly and funny. I highly recommend her !!

got a Groupon for a Brazilian blowout, scheduled with Pam and I'm very disappointed. She double-booked me and then have the audacity to try to have me come in 3 days later at sometime in the afternoon. Right after I told her that I work night shift. Do not go to this place. If they overbook who knows what kind of haircuts they offer.

An absolutely wonderful place with even greater people. I've never had a complaint about the place. A special shout out to Fernow, talk about a man who cares about his customers and builds relationships with them. He genuinely wants to get to know you and his passion for the art of styleing and cutting hair really shows. Highly recommend this place.
