I would leave a 0 if it was possible. I have been a loyal customer for YEARS. I have always asked for a basic trim and color…but this year I asked for a sexy, layered , Bridget Bardot inspired 60s cut with bangs. My hair was butchered to look like an edgy bad wolf cut or even bowl cut. When leaving the salon, I didn’t notice the back layer , but it must have been a mistake that my stylist was trying to cover up. The layers are choppy, unblended and ruins all my photos. It’s so choppy that people ask what happened to my hair. It’s distracting. My hair stylist cut the back of my head to be the shortest layer on my head. As a professional model and actress, this cut sticks out like a sore thumb and I have had to ask my editors to fix it. I have patiently waited for the cut to settle in and look better… but I think it will be years before it can be fixed. I paid close to 200 for this look. The least they can do is give me a refund. I know this review sounds harsh, but I have never been so saddened by the quality of a hair cut. I’m also sad because I LOVED coming to this salon, but will not be back unless given a proper refund.

What truly sets Daniel apart is his passion for what he does. No one has ever taken such thoughtful care of my hair as Daniel. His attention to detail and genuine dedication to ensuring my hair looks and feels its best is unmatched. I left my appointment feeling confident and impressed. Thank you, Daniel, for being so talented, caring, and attentive. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair!

I'm semi new to Andersonville and decided to check out a salon in the neighborhood. I was definitely not disappointed! Everyone there was super friendly! I had Daniel who cut my hair exactly how I wanted, it was much needed! Very fun personality and always checking in 😊 thank you again!

A friend of mine had a cut and color with Daniel and upon seeing it i was super impressed and I immediately made an appointment for a haircut. When I went in, the vibe of the salon was great and Daniel’s attention to detail, warmth, and haircut were amazing. I scheduled to come in for hair color a few weeks later and Daniel did an amazing job again, blending old highlights with fresh color in a way that looks so natural you cannot tell where any of the blending starts or ends. I would highly recommend Daniel!!!

I’ve been seeing Christopha for a while now and the level of care my hair has received since that first appointment is unreal! From the first sit he listened to exactly what I wanted (help growing my hair out,) and every cut has been better and better! My hair has never been healthier and he’s also a great guy and easy to have all kinds of chats with! Worth an appointment with him without a doubt.

I LOVE Mas Restoration! The owner, Gabriel, is one of the most skilled stylist I have ever had - from his knowledge about color, the layers on his haircuts, and his ability to give me (a person with the thick, curly hair) a blowout in 45 minutes. I visited him every week and my hair never looked better. Give yourself the gift of Mas Restoration!!

First visit in July 2023: Rognnys did a phenomenal job with my wash, technique cut, and blowout!!! 10/10 Second visit in February 2024: Rognnys was unavailable, and the water heater was broken, so only dry cuts were offered. I wasn't notified beforehand but I took the odds with a different stylist and the cut wasn't as good. Since I don’t wash my hair every day it was my wash day, so I couldn't fully enjoy the cut and style for the weekend. June 2024: Called before booking and was told the water heater is still broken, so only dry cuts were available. I'm getting a little frustrated because I was hoping to have the extra services for the prices. Anyways I hope the salon fixes the water tank issues.

Chadwick is the best stylist I've ever gone to, hands down. Until I began going here, I never considered a hairstyle like the one he's helped me achieve.. it took his expertise with the products they sell and his way of styling it. Excellent location, great vibe, reasonably priced. definitely recommend!

I went in to get my hair layered after not trusting any stylists for years to cut my hair out of fear they would cut too much off. I had a long conversation with my stylist about how maintaining my length was my biggest priority and she showed me about two inches of hair she was planning to trim off. However, when I left the salon 6 inches of my hair was chopped off… it used to hang down to my tailbone and now it’s at my mid chest.. while the haircut is objectively good and everyone in the store was super sweet and welcoming I’m absolutely devastated beyond belief And will unfortunately be growing my hair out for the next few years before I will feel like myself again…

Christopha has the gift!! He was my stylist when I lived in Chicago 2007-2012 and I was that girl who always got compliments on her hair - a custom red, blended from 3 different dyes and the best looking bangs I've ever had. He gave me the short, post-breakup cut I needed a few years later when I was moving and starting a whole new chapter. Was it coincidence or was it great hair that then had me meeting the man who is now my husband, less than a month after that move? Either way, learning that Christopha was back in town has me driving up from KY to an appointment I've booked with him for next week. He's that good!!

My husband learned a long time ago from a coworker to always compliment my hair when I come home from the salon, but those compliments have always been a bit perfunctory. But after Gabriel touched up and highlighted my now blond hair and Alex blew it dry, he was effusive. “Your hair looks great. Really, really great.” Love Gabriel. Love Alex.

Rognnys has now gotten me out of two egregious, admittedly self-inflicted, hair tragedies. I’m positive I’ve been a nightmare client but he never makes me feel bad about it. The first time I came to him I tried to bleach my hair myself. This time I tried out a salon when I was traveling to touch up my roots and they melted my hair. I don’t speak Spanish but that has never stopped us. We just go off of vibes and google translate. He’s a genius, master, artiste, and I trust him with my life. He is worth every single penny. I love him and I happily recommend him to everyone I know.

I went to Restoration and saw Jessy for a color correction (see photo 4). She worked absolute magic! I could have never asked for a more incredible outcome. Vibrant, dimensional, and just stunning. I won’t see anyone else for a color ever again! Thank you Jessy! I should also mention that I gave Jessy complete and total control of this hair color, I said “just do what you want, I trust you.”

Love everything about the place except the price. $45 for men’s (short hair) haircut, with tip, you’d prob be looking at $55-$60. Other than that, service was great, good location and the hair stylists are definitely skilled and professional. I will be back, but not till I absolutely in need of a haircut!
