Update 12/3 - Massage 1 hasn't reached out to me about my survey, my review or my experience. On November 14, 2024, I went to Massage 1 to have a birthday massage done. I went to their tablet and picked the areas that I wanted massaged. When I went to the counter to ask about the free $10 add-on, I chose aromatherapy. I was told that I could pick out 2 scents from the top shelf or 1 scent from the bottom shelf. I chose Lemongrass and Mandarin from the top shelf. After going back for my massage, I met Rosie M. She was very nice and professional. When we were in the private room going over the areas I wanted massaged, she for some reason thought I mostly wanted my ankles massaged. I had to inform her that my problems areas that I mostly wanted worked on were my feet and my lower back, with fully body (except butt and stomach). She acknowledged that she understood what I wanted. I paid for a 90 minute massage and I was hoping the majority of the time would have been used on my lower back and feet, like I had asked. Rosie went straight to the hamstrings and spent over a hour on my hamstrings. Keep in mind, I can't see the clock/timer because its behind me and I'm face down. While I'm face down, my face is closest to the aromatherapy machine. I don't know the amount of oils Rosie put in it, but it overwhelmed my sinuses. The Lemongrass was packing a punch and it went straight up my sinuses and caused them to close. I kept adjusting my head to try to get away from the smell and it wasn't working. I had to ask Rosie to turn it off and stated that I was having a hard time breathing. She turned it off and turned up a fan that was inside of the room. The fan wasn't helping. Rosie asked if I wanted to turn over to see if that would help and I said we could try. I turned over and she angled the fan at my face, so I had air blowing at my face and blowing the Lemongrass further up my sinuses. I couldn't breathe, it felt like someone was holding a pillow over my face and I was going to pass out. I had to stop the massage, because I was nauseous, I was light headed, dizzy and about to pass out from the strong oils. Rosie stopped the massage and said she would meet me outside. When I got up from the table, I saw I had 12-13 minutes left of my 90 minute massage. I was so confused. I didn't finish my massage, yet a chunk of time was spent on my hamstrings that wasn't needed. I wanted that much time on back and feet (which I didn't get). With 12/13 minutes left, how was she going to massage my arms, back, feet, neck and quads in that short time frame? I walked out of the room and Rosie gave me a bottle of water. She also informed me that Lemongrass shouldn't be mixed with Mandarin, because both are citric acids. It would have been nice for someone to tell me that before the oils were dumped into the machine and caused my sinuses to lock up and ruin my birthday massage. When I went to the receptionist to check out, I informed her on what happened and that I couldn't breathe. While I'm standing there obviously not looking well and about to pass out, the receptionist said she knew I wasn't feeling well, but asked if I could rate Rosie on their tablet. I didn't want to get Rosie in trouble, but she was professional, so I gave her a "great" happy face rating. I walked out feeling dizzy and needed to go sit in my car for a few minutes. While sitting in my car, it really hit me that I told them that I couldn't breathe and instead of them asking if I needed medical attention, I was asked to rate my Masseuse. Then I saw my receipt and they overcharged me for my massage, they never applied my points ($20 was later refunded) I paid $149 to get my hamstrings massaged for the majority of my massage, when it should have been my back and feet, I got choked out from the aromatherapy mixtures and had the rest of my birthday celebration day ruined. I couldn't do anything else and had to go home. It was an awful experience and it upsets me that my birthday massage was ruined. I filled out a customer survey and never heard back from anyone.

Will was incredible! Spent so much time really addressing my muscle knots and overall body tension. Hands down the strongest and intentional deep tissue massage I’ve ever gotten and my body has never felt better after a massage; I truly haven’t felt less tense/pain in years, so amazing!

Lauren is great. The facility is clean, comfortable and the staff make you feel welcome. I like the fact that Massage 1 is not a large corporation. Will be returning.

I am giving this a one star as I was quoted over the phone the incorrect price. I called asking the price for a couples massage. When told the price, I repeated it back and asked if this was for both. The receptionist said yes. My husband who was next to me verified and witnessed my confirmation of the price on the phone. Keep in mind, the price quoted was the price we had paid at another company so it did not seem out of line. When I was paying after services were completed, I was told a different price. I had mentioned to the person I was quoted a different price and had double checked the price by repeating and confirming it back to the person who quoted. What went from an ok massage to ending the evening disgruntled as they didn’t offer to compromise on the price was extremely upsetting. I would not return.

Nita has magical hands. I cannot say enough good things about her. She’s amazing at deep tissue massages and I leave everytime feeling like a million bucks. If you’re looking for an amazing massage, book with Nita!

Always a great experience at Massage 1. The receptionist was kind and welcoming. The sign-in process is so convenient and quick. My therapist, Brittney was great! She was able to get all the knots in my traps that would cause me headaches everyday. She also had the perfect amount of pressure where it was still relaxing but yet effective. Highly recommend Brittney and would request her again! Thank you for a great experience from beginning to end!

I have struggled to find an amazing Massage Therapist for years. But I’ve found him! Gerardo is the guy to go to! Hands down one of the BEST massages I’ve had in a long time. Arely is a pure gift! So thankful to have found this place. I am a professional athlete and am always in need of deep tissue work. She is always spot on where I need it! This place is simple, the sound in the rooms is great, the therapists are great, and they have fair pricing. I will be here as many times as I can afford it! Haha. Blessings!

I booked 3 massages a month in advance for my birthday trip to Vegas. I sent a text confirmation the day before. They called for confirmation the night before while I was on my flight to Vegas and since I didn't answer my phone at that time they cancelled my appointments. They did not try to contact me the day of. We showed up for our massages and they told us they cancelled them. An extreme disappointment fory birthday weekend.

Typical in terms of decor, relaxing environment etc. but the massage was amazing. I like a full body deep tissue that focuses on neck back and shoulders and that’s what I got here. Best I’ve had so far. Amazing.

I've only been to the southwest location. There is a masseuse style for all needs. Make sure to tell them how you like it and they set you up. Super clean, quiet and friendly with easy parking.
