I’d give special thanks to Kiersten, for all her help today. I spent quite bit of time with her managing my elderly mom’s services. She was patient, kind, and professional. She sets a high bar for customer service and it is greatly appreciated.

I’m sitting here in the parking lot filling this out. Signed up for a membership earlier this year and was assured I could cancel if I wasn’t able to use the membership. Haven’t used it since July it’s now December went into cancel it. It was very nice and was told that I could not cancel it until the end of the entire year. This concept makes sense when you are booking out a Limited availability type of product but for a massage place it’s clearly just predatory. $70 a month won’t make me go broke. But it is an annoyance. I will try to transfer my credits to someone who needs them if I can find anybody. But beware for one hour massage they recommend a $40 tip on top of an over $100 service. Seems a little extreme to me. The lady who was the manager here was barely civil to me and just kept saying well you signed an agreement. Once again, I get it but life changes and if a business does not accommodate that they’re definitely not going to get more business.

I was a member a few years ago but stopped because of the terrible business model of this company. Recently I got a gift card so I was going to give it one more try. They charged me for the full amount minus $18 from the gift card that was worth $75. When I called they said the girl at the front desk was new and they'd call back in the morning, I never heard from them. I called back the next day. They didn't work with me. I never got a receipt so couldn't dispute this issue. Won't be going back to any location. Very scammy vibes since I signed up for membership a few years ago.

I'm glad I canceled my membership at this location. The front desk proceeded to give me a lecture about canceling the same day because I'm sick and I didint leave a message I'll be reaching out to corporate.

Concept of a membership can be great but beware of the constant changes to their contracts and shark like business practices. Therapists can be hit or miss. Front desk staff is young and unprofessional. Multiple requests for call back from a manager go ignored.

Great place to unwind and have a ME day. I saw Leandra yesterday and it was a great experience. I received multiple compliments on my skin and face that same evening! Thank you Leandra!

After being a client of massage envy for many years. I decided to change to a massage therapist with many years of experience. I canceled my membership and had two credits to use. Massage envy canceled my appointment a couple of weeks ago because the staff was a no show. I was scheduled for this weekend to use my credits but was told that I was passed my date. Massage Envy cottonwood location has no integrity and poor customer service. They can’t keep staff - revolving door of therapist.

Had an appointment scheduled for over two weeks. I rearranged my schedule for this appointment. Only to be notified two hours prior that my appointment was canceled. Because the assigned worker call in. They had zero back up plan for employee absences. Just call the customer and screw them. Also, how convenient the employee calls in on a holiday weekend. I do not recommend this place, zero work ethic from employees and no professionalism whatsoever. Do not go! Save your money.

I was gifted massage and I must say it was one of the best gifts I have received. The scheduling online was easy and convenient. Once in the salon I was politely greeted and checked in. My masseuse was Jamie and she was amazing! I felt very comfortable and at ease. She took special attention to my problem areas and I walked away feeling great. I had such a good experience I bought myself a membership!! I am looking forward to using it!

This was a gift from my husband. Although the massage therapist was VERY kind, she talked and talked the ENTIRE time. Making it SO hard to relax and enjoy the message. I feel bad saying this but that's NOT why you go to a message just to visit. You need a quiet atmosphere, to just let go. Sweet lady but a message is NOT about getting to know each other.

Friendly staff. Massage was alright. My back feels like it hurts even more now after the massage. I also asked for a firm and deep tissue massage but it was pretty light. $215 dollars for a 90 minute message that didn’t seem to help was definitely not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

I tried to schedule an appointment for my daughter, and the person who “helped” me over the phone (Derona) made it VERY difficult. It is clear that this woman lacks empathy and could care less about her clients. I tried to get my daughter set up with an appointment with a female masseuse (as she has had prior trauma with males in her life) and she basically said “we can’t do that, you get who get.” Very unprofessional. Derona is okay with placing young women/girls in vulnerable situations. She was very rude and condescending on the phone. Because of Derona, I will be taking my business elsewhere (somewhere where the employees are understating and can grant a simple request) and suggest you all do the same.

My mother graciously presented my girlfriend and me with a thoughtful gift: a massage experience to celebrate our birthdays. Subsequently, we decided to indulge in a couples massage, an endeavor that left us thoroughly enchanted with the service provided. So much so, in fact, that we made the decision to become members. However, during the membership registration process, an unfortunate incident occurred involving the front desk assistant, who happened to be the manager. Regrettably, due to a technical glitch, our card was charged twice. This was not the fault of the aforementioned manager, but rather an unintended outcome of the system error. As a result, we found ourselves inadvertently double-charged, a situation we only discovered later in the week. Our enthusiasm for the couples massage experience prompted us to schedule another appointment, which we took care to confirm via a text message notification a day or two in advance. However, an unexpected setback transpired a mere 40 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment at Massage Envy. It was conveyed to my girlfriend that her massage therapist had fallen ill and would not be available. In light of this, the suggestion to reschedule was made. However, a perplexing distinction was drawn by the associate: my girlfriend's massage could be rescheduled, while mine could not. This discrepancy arose due to the need to compensate my therapist, despite the fact that we had originally booked a couples massage, not two separate individual sessions. This situation was compounded by the fact that, according to their policy, clients must cancel appointments 24 hours in advance to avoid charges. We acquiesced to rescheduling our couples massage for a later date, only to find that my massage credit for the month had been depleted and I had been billed for the rescheduled massage. Regrettably, these events have raised concerns regarding the business practices at Massage Envy. It is our belief that they should have extended the courtesy of rescheduling the couples massage without imposing charges, especially given the unforeseen circumstances surrounding their ill therapist. Furthermore, the issue of double charges for our memberships has persisted for an extended period, now spanning eight weeks, without resolution. Additionally, it has been three weeks since we were charged for the rescheduled massage, which we view as an unfair imposition. We earnestly request that these matters be promptly addressed and rectified.

Really great people and product. Great place to get away and unwind after a long week of work. Invest in the 90 min instead of the 60 min massage. You'll thank me!

derona is the biggest loser i have ever met in my entire life. if you are a woman, do NOT trust this location. they will trigger you and not give a second thought about taking your money. i explained that i was uncomfortable with being touched by a man and she told me that that “sucked” and that she would charge me anyways. i explained that that was unfair given my situation and i was unaware that i was booked with a man. i expressed that i was okay with changing the appointment to a later date or seeing a woman instead. she proceeded to say she would call my mom (i am 19, why are you calling my mom?) which is incredibly unprofessional and evil in my opinion. clearly she is unable to communicate with people in a respectful manner. i called the location in rio rancho and was met with the kindest young woman who helped me book an appointment with a woman there. i think that in a profession where you are as intimate as massage, it is important to have empathy. this is something that derona lacks completely. i think she is am embarrassment to the company. when you have someone who isn’t afraid to be vile, reckless, arrogant, and selfish towards clients, running your company it definitely reduces the retention rate at certain locations. i’ve already made sure to warn all my friends and clients. if i hadn’t met with the woman in rio rancho i would change my business entirely. i asked to speak with the manager, and she looked sinister when she told me she was the manager. almost happy to be the one to tear me down after i was already sobbing in the waiting room. completely wrong and evil of derona to be put in a position to make decisions in a facility that’s meant to better the wellness of clients, only to have said clients leaving shaking and crying.

I will always have a subscription to Massage Envy. I love most every tech I’ve had. It’s hard work. They do a great job. The cottonwood location is very spa like, more than the others I’ve visited.

This place is a rip off! The $10.00 aromatherapy upgrade consist of 6 drops of scented oil in your massage lotion! .. Any decent spa includes aromatherapy as part of any massage (I have been to several others)..

Have been coming here for a few years with my husband.. front office ladies are always very sweet, kind and helpful. Had a facial with Kelly for the first time and she was so wonderful. One of the best I’ve ever had. Selfishly hate to share this information as it could potentially book her up, but she deserves it if it does! Always look forward to coming here- no matter which service is being rendered. ps. this location is my favorite of all in ABQ. :-)

I’ve been to many massage envy locations over the past 3 years and this one is by far my favorite. It’s worth the 30 minute drive from the south side of town. Celena was my MT today and gave me the best massage experience I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot!) highly recommend her and this location.
