Booked an appointment for my wife who just gave birth to our 1st child 7months ago. She arrived to be told that someone had already given my name and taken the appointment. I called, clearly not there to take the appointment, to be told ID's are not checked and that no attempts to verify this person would be made. Their solutions were that my wife could wait 2.5hr or come back a different day. Why should she wait when we did nothing wrong? Would not recommend this place every

I've been a member of Massage Envy since 2014. I've visited several locations in the DMV-- (Woodmore Town Center, Crofton, College Park) and have gotten services monthly inuding massages and facials. I booked a 90 min massage at Annapolis for May 31. The front desk staff were very pleasant. However my massage experience was terrible. Somehow there was a mix-up and the therapist left for the day before my scheduled massage and they had to call her to come back. My massage was at 3 pm. The therapist came back around 325 pm. I had some flexibility on my schedule, so I proceeded with getting the late massage. The room spelled like smoke. Very unpleasant and not relaxing. It was chilly in the room. The therapist used some sort of cream which was cold. I had gone to this therapist once before in Nov 2023 and figured she was new and wanted to give another chance. I shouldn't have. It seemed she had no massage training in her technique. From the cold cream to massaging bones and joints that she may have thought were muscles was not pleasant at all. Overall it was an unpleasant experience.

Absolutely AWFUL customer service. Don’t make the mistake of signing up for a membership here(absolute scam). I wish I had never signed up. This location has very limited availability of good massage therapists. I have had extremely mediocre services in general at this location. On top of that, their policies make it almost impossible to cancel your membership or change membership status while they continue to charge each month and ignoring emails.

I had a massage with Shakara today and she was absolutely amazing! I have been in pain from my job and she really helped to work out the areas I’ve been struggling in pain with. She really cared to help and is very knowledgeable about what she is doing. She even showed me what to stretch to help me in the future. Great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Getting an appointment at this location has become next to impossible. I’ve been with ME since 2012 and this is the hardest it’s ever been to book an appointment. I was told I would receive a call when my massage therapist opened her schedule up. Twice now I received no call and got a lame “I’m sorry” from the front desk. I wouldn’t recommend opening a membership if you haven’t as it is impossible to get an appointment. It’s about time I cancel my membership as well.

I was with then for several years, I moved to Texas and attempted to get my membership moved to the nearest location. I was having to pay an extra fee to use credits at the new location (2 hrs from me). So I had them put my account on hold while it got worked out. They canceled my membership and didn't mention that my $988 in membership credits would disappear if not used in a certain time frame. The manager hung up on me when I was trying to get the email for corp and a call from the owner. Now they refuse to take my call. Thieves in capable of or unwilling to give customer service despite having already taken my $. I wanted to bring my mom and I in for Christmas while I was home. Now it'll just be one very upset and bored retired disabled veteran bc when you show cowardice on the phone I expect you to do the same to my face.

Message therapists are all wonderful. Management and the customer service - terrible 0/5. Quick to take your money but horrible with management and accommodating the customer. Warning - no notification at all when your contract is about to end and they automatically renew. Manager never came on phone to help or return phone calls. Never came to front desk. Left the front desk person to figure out schedule. We got canceled and rescheduled several times because of their issues with not having enough massage therapists BUT when it came to trying to reschedule and extend our contract the answer was a non empathetic, indifferent and cold no. Horrible horrible horrible. I would never recommend Annapolis branch.

My 90 minute massages with Liz every month is very important to my well being! She is awesome! Liz knows all my trouble spots very well. She works them all out especially those boulders in my shoulders and sometimes, I feel a little taller when I leave. Yay, Liz! Thank you!!!!!

The front desk staff are very rude. They had an online appointment available which I booked. I then received a text message the next day telling me it was a booking error. Instead of trying to accommodate me due to their error the woman got smart.

The therapists are fine, however I can NEVER get anyone on the phone to schedule appointments. I ended up canceling my membership. Have 60 days to use credits (11 of them) but they have no availability for another 3 weeks which takes almost half of my time to use my credits. I’m so beyond irritated. Edit: they called back and have repetitively put me on hold when trying to schedule my remaining credits. It’s incredibly frustrating. Have now been on the phone for over 20 minutes. Then told the location can’t book more than 4 at a time.
