I always look forward to my visits here for a relaxing massage. I've been coming for years now, and I can’t recommend it enough! My go-to masseuse is Rozetta, and she never disappoints. Her massages are the perfect blend of medium to firm pressure, just what I need to unwind and feel refreshed. If you're looking for a great place to relax, this is definitely the spot!

This is my second time coming to this location. My first time was GREAT with Kerri. K!! My second appointment, NOT so great. I came Wednesday 12/11/2024 at 12:45pm. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 with Shema. When I walked in, the ladies at the front desk were on their phones with their head down. While in the waiting room, there were 2 other people waiting and they were all called before me. It is now 1:07 and my masseuse calls me to the back. I can tell she’s rushing and moving fast. During the massage she spent 90% rubbing lotion over my body instead of massaging my body. She moved very quickly through the massage instead of taking her time and working the knots. When she was finished, I looked at the time and it was 2:00 on the dot so I was concerned about the 7minutes that she was late and I was not reimbursed for the tardiness. When it was time to check out, the ladies at the front were still on their phones with their head down and immediately asked if I wanted to leave gratuity and I told them I’ve already done so in cash and I also stated that I wanted to cancel my membership. They didn’t want to know my concerns or why I was upset not wanting to continue my membership. They just informed me that I have to have the membership for 3 months before cancelling. After I finish my 3 month membership, I will NOT be returning because I feel like my money is being spent on girls who play on their phones all day and my masseuse didn’t show any concern about being late nor did I get reimbursed for the tardiness.

I’ve been to several locations and liked this location until I had a rude experience on my birthday from the front associate-the manager Jackie was rude af trying to speak over me and to the point of arguing while I was talking calmly with my opinion of the situation, she didn’t want to hear what was being said. How are you in management but don’t have proper customer service skills. By all means, DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION, there are several around Charlotte, find another!! FIND ANOTHER LOCATION!! Update: don’t send me a link to express my concerns to no resolution, I did that from the start and therefore no one assisted on this matter. AGAIN, customers you are better off at other locations!!

From the minute you walk through the doors, you are cheerfully greeted by the counter staff. After check in, there is a pleasant room to sit for your therapist. I alternate between Kerri and Shema, both give excellent massages. Even the manager, Jackie, gives a smile and “hello.” Definitely would highly recommend this Massage Envy location.

We have been having our massages at this Massage Envy for many years. The Manager (Jackie), Front desk (Anastasia) and massage therapists (Abby, Cecily, Kerri, Shema and Maisee) keep us coming back. They are all very professional and we always look forward to our visits.

I’ve held off on leaving a review for this location since I like to give places second/third chances but after today I’ve been cancelled 4-5 times within 30 minutes of my appt. One time I was in the waiting area and it was 15 minutes past my appt time when I went to the desk, another I was pulling into the parking lot after driving 20 minutes to make sure I was there on time and then at least twice day of. I totally understand if for one appt someone gets sick or car troubles but it’s nearly every time I attempt to come some “emergency” pops up. Will not be returning to this location.

The heart and mission at this location, to support people on their spiritual healing journey, was truly felt today. Maisee was amazing at providing a skilled therapeutic massage experience. I felt relaxed and reset afterwards. Holistic modalities such as massage therapy offer many benefits. If you’re looking for that missing piece on your self-care and self-healing journey, consider incorporating massage therapy. I wholeheartedly recommend Maisee at the University location!

First time customer of ME! I had Rezetta as my massage therapist and she did such an AMAZING job. I know some people choose not to talk to their therapist, but I am more confortable if I can talk to my therapist and get to know them a bit. Engaging in conversation with Rezetta and she still performed at her best! Took all the knots right out of my shoulders! 11/10 recommend. The front desk ladies were also super kind and super helpful!

First time going to this location. Shnaeda was my masseuse. She was absolutely, fantastic! She was pleasant, patient and communicated very well during my visit. The massage was a 10. I fell asleep multiple times; the best compliment I'm told. I signed up for a membership. I'm looking forward to continuing to have positive visits.

I have been a member of Massage Envy for many years and go to various locations around the Charlotte area. I always book either a 1.5 hour or 2 hour session due to having arthritis and other back issues. I booked 2, 60 minute massages at this location. Someone from the location called to confirm my back to back bookings to which I confirmed, yes I want them back to back for 2 hours. I received a voicemail the morning of my massage stating there was a problem with my sessions. As I check in, first off the staff up front were very cold and exhibited short tones and they tell me the therapist can't do back to back sessions. I didn't understand since the schedule permitted me to. They told me the therapist is available for either sessions but not both which made no sense. As I am still confused about this, another staff firmly said, "he isn't licensed to do a 2 hour session". However, he can do 1.5. I agreed to that because that was as close to 2 hours as I could get. The girl at the front on the computer just stood there as the other 3 girls didn't make eye contact. I was waiting on some sort of confirmation that I was all checked in and everything had been fixed. There was nothing but silence and me standing there awkwardly. The girl at the computer finally realized I was waiting and said (in a very annoyed tone) "you can go to the waiting room now" The overall tone, attitude and miscommunication was extremely off putting. I have never experienced this sort of cold nature at any other location. As I'm waiting in the waiting room, I peek out to confirm when my facial was to begin to make sure that time hadn't also been adjusted. Again, rude and cold reply, "it doesn't start until 12:30" and turned around. Again, I am truly upset st this experience. I felt completely unwanted and unwelcome. It is unfortunate because the services are great but the front desk staff make me not want to return to this location.

I want to take this moment to brag on Richelle!!! This lady has the hands of GOD!!!!! OMG!!!! Her technique is so relaxing and the staff at this establishment is amazing! I've always had a great experience. But Richelle!!! She is a rockstar! I always enjoy my therapy sessions with her!! She's such a nice and pleasant young lady to work with!! Thank you again Richelle!!!!!!!

It just is not a consistent experience. Sometimes deep tissue is deep ... sometimes not. Add ons for aromatherapy etc. feel like nickel and diming. Staff seems to turn over.

It was my first facial and first visit to this location. This review is for Dallas. She is such a sweet and REAL woman, not to mention pretty and ambitious! Conversation was easy with her. She absolutely loves what she does!! She performed my facial, and I left feeling hydrated and admiring my face and skin. Thank you, Dallas!

I’ve been a member with this location for a long time and have had such patience with them when they’ve rescheduled or cancel my appointments either because an employee called out/short staffed and lately because they didn’t have the kits for a facial. But my appointment today was cancelled because I was 15 minutes late and they refused to waive the fee - this was the same appointment they had to previously reschedule because they failed to notice they did not have any facial kits at the time I showed up to the appointment. Alex the desk rep was extremely rude talking over me and repeating the same information over and over without politely allowing me the opportunity to speak. Worst customer service. When I asked for a manager I was told that there was not one in today. To call tomorrow after 9 and speak with Nicky. I will be canceling my membership. Their membership is too expensive to have to deal with incompetent, intolerant and rude service.

Scheduled appt on a Monday night for Tuesday at 4:30 pm. Tuesday morning, I called to see if any earlier appts were available? None available, I was also told that if I changed time, I would be charged a cancelation fee. Why? Because I essentially would be changing therapist and canceling. Ok - weird but no big deal. So heading over to my appt for 430pm, I am 2 mins away at 4:11pm. I received a call stating my therapist had to cancel because they had to leave. I understood things happen but nevertheless, where is my cancelation fee? I quickly realized that Massage Envy does not want my business, and I will oblige them. My time is valuable as well.

The girls at the front desk at this location are always cold and somewhat arrogant. I have gone there for a year and one time I got a girl that smiled. They are not helpful and act as if you are the problem when you ask why you are being charged $100.00 for a 90 minute $90.00 massage. I pay them $70.00 a month for a massage or facial and always get an up charge fee of $10.00 something I wasn’t aware of when I signed up. If I didn’t have several ME gift cards I wouldn’t go anymore. And mentioning gift cards, my son went in for a $25.00 gift card this Christmas and at this location he was told he had to buy a 125.00 gift card, he mentioned the flyer that said you can get a $100.00 gift card and they told him he HAD to buy at least a $100.00 card and so he did because he wanted me to Easthave a ME card, even though he couldn’t afford it. I believe that may be against the law to do that to someone but I know for sure it was certainly unethical. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. I’ll go to another location from now on.
