Kitty is the BEST! I have been a nurse for 10 years and am a weekend DJ = two of the hardest jobs for back and feet. I had a 1 hour massage from Kitty the day after big event and long week of work and I was a new human being as I walked out. I slept like a baby and have never felt better now 24 hours post massage. THANK YOU KITTY!

It's not the staff or not so much the massage therapists; it's the company model. They over-charge people who do not have membership; for one hour the charge is ~$155. The problem here is that's a price for a highly skilled massage therapist, and sadly to say, these massage therapists do NOT demonstrate beyond entry level, and hence, this price is worst than inflation in America. So why is this company charging people $155 for 1-hr massages that are not even aligned with the massage therapists skills?? In addition to the unfair property taxes in Chicago, it seems that Massage Envy decided why not over charge the customers, too. I don't know how they qualify the massage therapists to work there, but none of the therapist listens or have beyond entry level skills. This relates to ALL MASSAGE ENVY locations, so far, I ask for a Whole Body massage for 1-1/2 hour, and they spend ~30-45 minutes on the back, while the rest of the body is still super tight; the neck, shoulders, head, rhomboids, scapula, face, glutes, hamstrings, quads, legs, feet, toes, hands, fingers are skipped. The whole body is not on the back. And they don't cancel your service even when you're not happy. They expect to keep charging your card, even when you don't want to do business with them any more. ****Caution, do not join Massage Envy.**** There are 100% better qualified and attentive massage therapists from other massage establishment and they will not rob you. Pay for the service you are happy for and NOT forced to rob you. I was paying for a their membership and was never told I have to pay extra $25 more when I schedule a massage here in Chicago. Again, don't get ripped off and be forced to pay a company you are not happy with their services. To the owners::::: please have an experienced massage therapist, at least 5 years, to receive the massage demos when hiring; otherwise, you are hiring massage therapists that are really NOT qualified to do a full body massage. So far all the massages I got from the Massage Envy massage the back 80% and 20% the rest of the body. That is not whole body, I have 6 other areas in my body that need detailed massages, too, not just my back.

I went for, much needed, self care: facial. The space was clean and inviting. Friendly staff. A variety of great services offered. They occasionally run good deals.

I had a prenatal massage a week ago with Courtney and I have felt amazing since! I was struggling with sciatica pain and I haven’t felt any discomfort. Definitely book with her if you can!

Stay away from this location and West Loop! The managers avoid you and lie. Always say they’re not there when in fact they are avoiding having to actually confront any issues. The staff isn’t properly trained they don’t know their own policies. They ignore emails and just want to take your money. I came in to cancel 3 weeks before my bill date but I received an email 2 days prior with a cancellation form saying I have to cancel 10 days prior! I will be locating the franchise owners regarding their operations manager Jessica Taylor! I emailed her February 12th and it took me saying I’m physically coming into the location for her to respond and say she wasn’t there; when the assistant manager just told me she was. Her response was she’s not obligated to respond outside of business hours; well I guess she was off work for over 10 days because I gave her ample amount of time to respond!

Angelic has magic hands! I came in with sciatic nerve and low back pain. She gave me a good stretch and massage and I feel 100% today. Because of her, I became a member and will go to her monthly until my body is in optimal condition. I recommend Massage Envy and Angelic.

Every time I’ve booked here, something happens day of the service. I also think it has been with the same therapist as well. The first time, I found out in the parking lot. The second time, I found out 3 hours before the massage.

Looveed lovedd my facials every time I come in, doesn't matter who it's with it's always an amazing experience! I have no trouble booking for facials, however I understand massages also get booked very quickly as the massage therapists are very talented. So no complaints here! They are very thorough in calling people off the wait list if there's any cancellations.

The massage was great however massage ended at 8:00pm and we didn’t really even start til 8:10 as I sat in waiting area. I paid for an hour and only really got 45-50mins:/ Friendly staff, and very clean!

They need to get it together on all fronts. I have received calls ONE DAY before an appointment telling me that the therapist took vacation…isn’t that something you would know pretty far in advance? Lately they have been calling me telling me an appointment is canceled and then leaving it on the calendar. They have also called me 4 times in the last 2 weeks about ONE appointment all about scheduling issues. The front desk people also clearly don’t leave thorough or accurate notes for each other. One front desk person will have NO idea what I just spoke to someone else about yesterday. When there’s more than one worker, wouldn’t you need to leave notes?? The therapist turnover is also pretty bad. I’ve only been going for a year and I’ll ask for my regular therapist only to find out they don’t work there anymore. The only good thing about this location is their therapist Chris.
