I attempted to contact the franchise directly, but I did not receive a response. As a result, I'll share my frustration on google. I scheduled a 60-minute massage for 10:00 a.m. and arrived around 9:50 a.m., as instructed, to complete paperwork. I was the first to arrive, but the shop was still closed, despite the posted opening time of 9:00 a.m. After a few minutes, De'Anthony (masseuse) arrived and kindly let me in. Since he was not the receptionist, it took some time to get checked in, causing my massage to start late. The massage itself was great, and the therapist did an excellent job. However, as he was working solo, the session ended early. I didn’t mind, assuming the lack of support was the reason for the early finish. Afterward, I was informed that payment could not be processed without the receptionist, so I was told I would be contacted later to run my card. A short time later, a receptionist called to process the payment but said my card had been declined. When I questioned her, she repeated that the card was declined, though it had just been used at another store. I was uncomfortable sharing card details over the phone, so I returned to the location. The same card was then approved. I asked if there was any way to be accommodated for the inconvenience, but this person did not offer a solution. This experience, which was meant to be relaxing, was quite the opposite. I do not recommend.

Horrible customer service let me start by saying Juan was amazing as a therapist. the bad: I have a membership at a different center booked at west loop (it's near work) finished my massage and was told it was $30 additional "market adjustment " because it was not my home facility and their dues are more....no one called before hand, no one told me when I arrived. they would not waive it! it cuts into workers tips to be charged a adjustment for just under 1/2 of my membership cost!! aweful customer service

I went today for my birthday and De’Anthony gave the best massage ever! Will book again! The front desk staff was also very pleasant

Alexis is my new fave! Upon finding out that my regular massage therapist was gone, I decided to give Alexis (who is new to the West Loop location) a try- I was not disappointed at all! Alexis listened to my needs and continued to check in with me throughout my massage. We had great conversation as well! I have definitely found my new regular massage therapist 😊

Elena and Melissa are amazing therapists, some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this place. Also Meqai and Dajah at the front desk are phenomenal and so pleasant!!!! Just put you in a good mood. Great place!!

I love it here, I have been with this loc for over 3 yrs, the staff is very helpful they always try to fit me in for appointments when I call. I just had a facial for the first time and I loved it. I definitely will be using my massage therapist Andrea more often than in the past.

Incredibly lazy staff with terrible sense of service. I went in for a 60 min facial at 5:30. Begun at 5:45 and got done at 6:22.. mediocre and highly irritating products that are haphazardly smeared on and off your face. Definitely go anywhere else for a facial.

The staff here are prompt, friendly, and courteous. I had a massage with Bart yesterday and I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and with less neck tension. He offers medium to firm pressure and will add stretching to your service if you’d find it helpful.

I have tried to cancel my membership for 4 weeks. I’ve called multiple times and left messages to speak with the manager (they are the only ones able to cancel). I have not heard back. There is no way to reach out to the corporate office or the owner for assistance. Essentially, you are held hostage in a subscription if you want to cancel. Not only is this fraudulent but reportable to the Federal Trade Commission. Beware to potential customers - signing up is easy but canceling is a nightmare.

I recently got a massage at Massage Envy and my massage therapist was Justin. Justin was AMAZING. He specializes in deep tissue massages. He is very friendly, knowledgable, and kind. I have gotten many massages over the years but I have to say that after my massage here by Justin, I ACTUALLY feel the difference after the fact. Highly recommend Justin!!

My experience was mediocre. I requested a deep tissue and it was not communicated with the therapist. Although relaxing, it was not the deep tissue I wanted. I also asked the therapist to work on a specific area and they completely skipped over it.

Their service is great but management needs improvement. When I made my appointment for my microderm today they said I won't have to pay anything out of pocket since my credits from my subscription will cover it. After I had my session they called me harassing me to pay out of pocket (mind you, the session costs $130 and they assured me beforehand that it will be covered with my credits). I told them that I wouldn't have made the appointment if I had known that I would have had to pay out of pocket since I was just trying to use up my credits so they don't expire. The manager, I believe her name is Sarah, then started to yell at me over the phone, demanding I pay. Money isn't the issue but the fact that I've been lied to and tricked into this session when I couldn't have cared less for it. Sarah was extremely unprofessional and made me feel threatened over the phone. @massageenvy please do better when you're hiring a manager, this is completely unacceptable.

This location has great staff, but it is ALWAYS book to capacity. If you are okay with only getting massaged once a month by one if their most requested, then go ahead. Just DO NOT sign a contract. They do not make cancelling it anywhere as easy as when you sign up for it.

I have always had positive service experiences at this location, but as a member of over 10 years, the last few months have been extremely frustrating with managing my membership. I called repeatedly over a 6 week timeframe asking to extend my freeze plus which did not happen, so I was charged for a monthly fee when I was trying to avoid accumulating even more services during this time. If I didn't have so many services already purchased to use, I would cancel my membership entirely.
