I strongly advise against this location of Massage Envy. Their communication is absolutely terrible. They constantly cancel appointments without proper notice, making it nearly impossible to plan around them. To make matters worse, they renew memberships without informing clients and even charge for services that were never received. Overall, this location is poorly managed and lacks accountability. If you're considering Massage Envy, I highly recommend avoiding this specific location—or the brand entirely. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable option elsewhere.

This membership feels like a scam. I purchased a 12-month membership for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift and paid the full amount upfront. When signing the paperwork, I carefully read the contract and even asked the front desk workers about the cancellation policy after the 12 months. I was assured there was nothing I’d need to do after the term was over. Fast forward to today, and I’ve been charged $75 unexpectedly. When I inquired, I was told that a cancellation email had been sent—but I never received such an email. This lack of transparency and misleading information has completely soured my experience. If you’re considering a membership, proceed with caution and triple-check the fine print.

I have called multiple times attempting to get my membership cancelled. I have even notified my bank and I am still being charged. How can they continue to charge even though we have written, verbal and spoken requests to cancel service.

Should have worse rating. Massage was awful as he couldn’t locate knots and even when did try and work out he had horrible pressure and was unable to perform his work. Manager had no interest in rectifying the situation.

First Time in Dallas visiting from Nashville, TN. Came down to get a full body massage with my girlfriend. Mr. Evan was great for my massage, He was able to tell me about areas on my bodies where I need to focus a lot more on and how often he recommends me to do massages.

I just HAVE to give a huge shout-out to hands down the best esthetician I’ve ever had! From the moment I walked in the staff was helpful and welcoming, but what truly made my visit unforgettable was Mariah. I could tell she genuinely cared about helping me achieve my skincare goals. After my facial and heavenly neck massage, I left feeling pampered, glowing, and already looking forward to my next appointment with her. If you’re considering getting a facial, she is absolutely the one to see!

Went in during April and specifically asked the lady to not place me under any contract. She advised me that after six months my credits would be eliminated. I stated this would not be an issue, as I would use the credits by the end of the month. I specifically asked her if I would be charged after October to which she said, "absolutely not". Spoke with Rachel that I was charged $75 this month and all she stated was that “it was in the fine print”. These people will lie directly to your face, take your money, and bill you after the six month period

My first massage in Dallas and i can confidently say i’m definitely coming back!! Other than my massage being great, the front desk receptionist Gerardo was really informative and answered all my questions making my experience more comfortable. 10/10 would recommend

I was gifted a 60 minute message session. It was easy to schedule the massage and was paired with the perfect masseuse. She was great and very attentive to my needs. It has been years since my last massage and my stress levels had been high so coming in I was a total wreck. By the time my hour was over I felt like a new person. I will definitely schedule another session again when I'm in town.

A reminder on why I don’t go to Massage Envy. You book a 60 minute massage that is actually a 50 minute massage but they finish 5 minutes early. Don’t worry they will still charge you full price. My massage therapist was okay. -For some reason she didn’t mirror her massages. My left hip got an intense massage while my right hip was untouched. But it evened out because my right pec was massaged but not my left pec. -She also called my shoulders and hips “odd” which was the confidence boost you look for when you do self care. -I asked her to focus on my legs since I am a runner and she didn’t touch my quads. -When the appointment started I asked if I could use the restroom quickly and she said “No” and that we could do the assessment first. All the above would have been fine if they had communicated with me. They didn’t ask how the pressure was or anything like that. Just got a told that she “couldn’t figure out my shoulders and hips”. My massage started at the top of the hour. They took me back five minutes late. After I got prepared I saw the time said “NAME - 50 minutes left”. Massage started at 10 past. I was fully dressed against by 55. This seems small but don’t advertise it as 60 minutes. Just frustrated. Wasn’t worth the 125.

My wife had a highly disappointing experience with this massage service. They repeatedly canceled my appointments at the last minute without any proper prior notice, wasting a lot of her time. When she tried to address the issue and cancel her service, they refused and insisted that she was responsible for a 6-month agreement she had signed. Their customer service was unprofessional and rude, denying that the problem was on their end. Overall, I found their lack of communication and inflexibility incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

Poor customer service. Booked a couples massage for the last day of Labor Day Weekend to relax with my wife. 3 1/2 hours before our massage, we get a call and they are cancelling on us. One of the therapists called out. Ok, no biggie. Had I canelled 3 1/2 hours before our appointment I would have to pay over $300. They just asked if we wanted to rebook, no offer to discount for the trouble or disappointment. Businesses simply don't care about their clients these days.

Front desk was nice. Not gonna lie I didn’t know it was possible for a massage to be that bad though. Fortunately it was free to me otherwise I’d be upset they charged for something that terrible. First time here and maybe it was just the person I had but wouldn’t recommend.

I have been a member at this location for a few years now, and the reason I keep coming back is because of Jayde. She is the bomb! The ladies at the front are always nice. I do recognize the improvements they have made and are continuing to make at this location.

This is the best Massage Envy ever. It is so clean and nice. Jayde gives a wonderful and very relaxing massage. I felt so good and rejuvenated. Rachel and Vallerie are so kind and very accommodating. Front desk is always great, kind and extremely helpful.

OH MY GOSH! They need to call this place blessed hands. Their work and management is IMPECCABLE! I’ve had several massages from different places in the past but this place, Massage Envy West Village…..baby it does not get better than this! Whether you’re talking with GeorgeAnn at the front desk or receiving a heavenly massage from Garcetta, you will ALWAYS be in good hands. I’m telling you, once you go and experience a professional yet relaxing massage from Garcetta and GeorgeAnn is greeting you at the front desk, I promise you’ll never go anywhere else!

Let me tell y’all something, the attitude that I have experienced from both workers and the manager have been piss poor. They know what they’re doing as far as this “membership” goes and all I was asking is that they not pull from my account until I have the finances to pay. People hung up in my face, kept giving me excuses and I think it’s tacky as a business to give the people who KEEP IT RUNNING a hard time. I cannot wait until this “1-year membership” is over next year so I can stay far far away from this place. I haven’t gotten a massage from them since May and I will NEVER be back. I will not deal with people who disrespect

This is the first time I am leaving a poor review because at this point it may be the only thing I can do. People, please just stay away from this location. I can't speak for other locations, but I was conned into a subcription lured in by a promotion in which 3 staff members told me I could cancel anytime without a fee or any issues. The subscription is not worth what you pay, in my opinion. If you go here just don't sign anything. These people lie and tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign up for the costly subscription. ME is indepedently ran and owned, so whatever the business owner says, goes, unfortunatly. There will be no corperate office to help you. I called different locations and they were hhappy to help me cancel the subcription, only they couldn't because each ME is independently ran and owned. What they did was unfair and they know it and I would strongly discourage people from going here, honestly. Also, I didn't apprecite how the business owner or mangaer handled the situation. It's very bad for buisness. Please let people know they are locked in for a year if they sign the subscription and it cannot be canccled even though the contract cleary states that it can be in certain situations. That's all you have to do. Please make sure your staff members state that beforehand. After my membership is done, I will cancel with quickness. If I had the time and energy i would just pursue legal action, but I guess this time I will take a loss.

Update: Same lack of effort by management to accommodate a patron. I needed to make a change this morning for a massage in the evening (7pm). I’ve been a member for years and still no help. $65 down the drain. This is a studio I book twice a week and still no help. Will be cancelling my membership shortly. I have been a member of Massage Envy for years and needed to make a one-time change to a same day booking to my appointment. I called first thing in the morning to make the change. This location was unwilling to work with me and decided it was best to lose my business permanently rather than work with a loyal customer. I would argue this is a very very poor choice and will recommend others to use another Massage Envy location. As a note, I have been a member for almost 3 years and have used at least 10 locations without issue. I have only once before had to make a change and another location (in San Diego) worked with me knowing other priorities do occasionally take precedent. Policy is policy, but customer service is a different game. I own and manage a few businesses and know that it is more than appropriate to make a one-time adjustment for a loyal customer as that will seal their business for years to come. This management team is, unfortunately, not thinking about their bottom line. 1 star effort.
