This place is all over the board. It’s either good , or bad . Don’t ever get on their plan neither . They’ll steal your money on it. They took $600 on my HSA ACOUNT. I never received the massages nor the money back. Awful experience with this company period. Thief’s IMO

Booked an appointment for today as I had a gift card from the holidays. First the place is amazing love the lighting, staff is not knowledgeable about the packages they have to offer. I wanted to get the membership thought it would save money on a massage, I'm thinking the membership was like a gym membership you go as often as you like after paying each month. 👎 You only get one massage a month and if you want more you pay each time. What is the point of the membership 🤔 the lady gave a rub down not a massage, my handicap son can do a massage better. Also it seems they don't know the pricing because one told me I could book a stretch the same day for 30 dollars for 30 minutes. Also it says on the windows join membership today recieve free massage and the payment would come out in February. So I'm so confused because how is it free when I have to pay today? But then she said oh free massage will be available in April. It's a total rip off. I can go go to Raiyas by Walmart and get a hour massage for 60. So that's what I will do I may visit for the stretch but the price will go up to 100 for a minute stretch unless you get the membership.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The staff is very rude. I came here on a girls day. They gave me a therapist that was not the gender I requested which is an option when making a reservation. They should have a "they" option if that is options they have since they don't discriminate. And when I requested to cancel they told me I had to pay. And while the other girls got a massage because they didn't have anyone to give me one the therapist said "enjoy the waiting room" Very rude and demeaning. Not professional.

If you charge $200 for a massage the quality should be there. Needed very strong massage i would not call that a massage its was more like a rub down. Iv had better rub downs from TSA in the airport and i get them for free.

I recently booked a massage at Massage Envy thanks to my amazing boss for giving me credits. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. While I was hoping for a relaxing and professional session, several issues made it hard to enjoy. The therapist seemed inexperienced, often applying inconsistent pressure. Some techniques felt rushed or uncomfortable, and there wasn't much focus on the areas I highlighted as needing attention. To make matters worse, the therapist’s demeanor throughout the session was very rude with curt responses and a complete lack of care. Given the therapist's attitude and the fact I booked a 60 minute massage and it only lasted approximately 45 minutes, the experience felt far from the professional and calming escape I had hoped for. Overall, the massage fell short in both service quality and customer care. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived. I would not recommend.

I had a 90 minute massage with Rose and they had a wonderful demeanor and were very knowledgeable throughout. I tend to prefer deep tissue and firm pressure throughout, and I asked questions about a few things specifically, and they delivered on both fronts. I would highly recommend Rose to anyone looking for a great massage therapist.

I’m beyond pissed right now. In 2022 I signed up to be a member I paid for the year for monthly massages. I was told they do not expire when I signed up in person. I had 7 left and tried to use them. But now I’m told they expire after you terminate your contract. So now I’m out 455 dollars. The manager did nothing for me, didn’t even sound like she felt bad. I will never go here again. Why would I give them money when I paid for services I didn’t get to use. They don’t pick up the phone when you try to call. It’s not right. Very bad business on their part. You can not book couple massages online so I have to do that over the phone. Hard to do when no one answers the phones!!!

Caitlin is incredible! The staff is always kind and accommodating as well! This is really disheartening to have to update this because Caitlin is incredible, but I need to change my review. We've had to cancel our membership recently. I went into the store on a Saturday and was told "only a manager" can cancel memberships. Which is fine. I have her my information and clarified that I wouldn't be charged before the beginning of the month and that I would get confirmation of the cancelation. She told me I would either get an email or call when it is canceled. So, Monday comes along and I didn't get a call. I call into the store saying I was supposed to hear from a manager about the cancelation of my membership. Whoever picked up (which must've been a manager considering she could cancel memberships) said "yep I got it all cancelled- you have 2 credits to use within 60 days." I clarified with her too saying my card won't be charged and she verified it wouldn't. So I go about my business happy with how easy the experience was. And you guessed it, my card was charged. When I called (of course the weekend the manager isn't available) the girl who answered said only managers can answer my questions about getting a refund for the money I was told I wouldn't be charged. So I wait and get a call on Monday (took time out of my work day to take her call). She calls saying it wasn't requested 10 days before the membership is charged so there was nothing she could do. ALL I asked for was for a refund. She said you have 3 credits to use within 60 days. Which I said I knew since I was charged again and I was explicitly told I have 2 before I was charged to use. I explained to her that I was told it wouldn't be charged and she said "well I don't know who you spoke with but that's not the case" I said I spoke with a manager and she didn't really respond after that. I don't know if they have multiple managers for this location but saying one thing would happen after explicitly clarifying and being told there is nothing they can do is unacceptable. It wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't explicitly lie to me and just refund the money. I asked to speak with someone else and was told I would get a call yesterday. Guess what?! Still no call. After I asked if I would have to follow up on this as well since nobody can follow through with anything at this location. Absolutely disgusting service from the manager. Still waiting on any call from a different manager. Update 5-9-24. Still no call. I needed to call back in and "remind" the manager of the situation. She said I'd get a call back today. When I said that's what I was told last time she said "my higher up has a lot of things and is very busy". Guess we will see if they will ever follow through with what they day they will do.

So my husband gifted me a massage for my push gift, as I recently just had a baby. My massage was less than amazing. I was next to the lunch room, or break area, and it was non stop laughing and talking during my massage. I couldn’t even hear the spa music. I thought I could get some peace and quiet since I am around a new born all day. Total let down. My massage was extra firm and I asked for medium. It felt like I received a massage from a WWE wrestler. Ugh, I won’t be back to massage envy.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I had never gotten a massage before and the staff was kind enough to walk me through the process. Place was super clean and everyone was so nice. Monica did such an amazing job making me feel relaxed and got rid of the knots in my shoulders and back. She also showed me what all of the products were and let me smell them before she used them which really helped to calm my nerves.

Came in today and left more stressed and frustrated than when I arrived. Had a wonderful session with Margaret and even had a great first time experience getting a micro, dermal facial. As a new member, I received coupons and one of the coupons was for the free micro dermal facial. When I had my last massage in August, the manager, Mindy talked to me about this service and explained that this coupon would allow me the service. I went ahead and booked the service right after my massage for the next time. She did not explain that the service required two credits. I did not think to ask because I assumed that the coupon was covering the service. Fast forward to today and 30 minutes after the facial… Let’s just say Mindy was no longer helpful and the customer service on her end was not appreciated and I was left feeling frustrated and ended up crying just because I was overwhelmed with emotions from having a 90 minute massage earlier, and then having all this thrown at me with having to be charged two credits, retail value $140. At this point I had been there for over three hours, and I just wanted to go home and could not get any answers. The sales associate at the front desk was trying to text and call Mindy and couldn’t get answers. It ended up being only one credit. But still. It was a horrible experience.

Haven't been able to get a massage since I joined the membership. Canceled multiple times without my knowledge. Receive text confirmations only to show up and they tell me I don't have an appointment. I have called and emailed requesting a cancelation and no one returns my calls. Spoke to the assistant manager. She said she had just started but would seethe manager later that evening and give her a message. Still haven't heard from anyone. The massages with Caitlin are great if you can actually get in but everything else has been terrible.

I booked appointment, and I showed up to be handed a tablet to get started after being checked in. Only to be asked personal questions like if I smoked cigarettes. And when I said yes. I was told that the therapist Lushawna gets asthma attacks from the smell of cigarettes cause you know I’m not going to be smoking cigarettes during a session… I find it offensive and disrespectful to not call and communicate these things before wasting the gas to show up and check in. Not only that I took a shower before leaving and had one cigarette if my personal vices makes people who I am paying to help me with my extreme back pain and can’t work under those conditions considering their job title. they shouldn’t be working in customer service like that! How many people did the therapist give a massage to that smoked cigarettes today when maybe people lied and said no? I’m honest and I’m turned away. I have extreme back pain and was looking super forward to getting some much needed to relief to be told I couldn’t get it! I left crying and feeling so helpless. This is a terrible way to treat people who are paying good money to be helped. Again the therapist should not be working there if the smell of one cigarette is going to send them into an emergency situation.

I bought a gift card and gave it to someone for a birthday present. They tried to use it after their appt and the lady said it wasn’t a gift card and was a “promo” card. He pad out of pocket. How embarrassing for him and myself! I have the receipt and paid $270 for a 3 pack.. they can’t get ahold of any manager. They seem to be hiring morons. I think my lawyer could get my money back if something doesn’t get fixed. This is humiliating!!

Massage envy rocks! All the therapists care about whether you feel better or not and it's at a great price with a lot of accessibility. People take better care of their cars than themselves, sometimes. It's nice to have a considerate place to go to to get help.

My first time receiving a facial at Massage Envy. Staff was very professional and clean environment. I talked with the person that did my facial and let her know I struggled with hormonal acne and cystic acne along my chin. During my facial, it seemed like she was rushed. I don’t believe she used enough product on my face and when I got home there was left over spots I had to wash off from the exfoliation she used. She also extracted several spots of cystic acne along my chin, which you are not supposed to do… I thought she was extracting black heads as I had several along my chin as well. Past facials I have received from someone (my usual esthetician who has moved out of state) left me feeling light, clean, and refreshed. This visit I left feeling my face thick, smothered, and in pain (still after 3 days). I received a gift card for this visit but I do not plan on returning. $80 for the 1 hour facial I received was most certainly overpriced.

The staff was very professional. This was my first massage ever and I definitely plan to go again. Hilary worked until the very last minute and made me feel so comfortable. Can’t wait to go back! Although I just realized I booked a 60min massage and only received 50mins.

Worst place to go! Avoid Southport location at all possible! 1) Managers do nothing for the customers, and will call you a liar! They will say you confirmed, even when you didn't know about the appointment, then take your credits! They are willing to lose you over one session. 2) They don't take health concerns into consideration, because they only know one way. They'll ask you if the pressure is okay, but do not change they style. If you complain, the receptionist just asks if you want to leave a tip. 3) They're very difficult to schedule with, as they will tell you "that person's schedule isn't out", they won't tell you if you think they have credits. 4) They don't listen to you when you tell them about pressure! I've said ouch and they just moved on to another body part. 5) They will bruise you, and leave you extremely sore the next day. They dig into pressure points also. It seems like they hire all the people that just can't find anywhere else to go. 7) They don't seem to care about their customers, that's why their service is so highly priced. They hook the members into keeping them into business, by the crookedness. 8) They will shorten your time, if it's supposed to be 60 mins, it's really like 45. 9) They are never on time. 10) I had a massage personnel fall asleep on me while above my head, and they do nothing about it. They sure will call you to schedule, but don't call you if you need anything. They are crooked, don't go there. They don't care about their customers. 11) When you raise a concern, they ignore you. They don't compensate you for anything, but sure will take your money every month. 12) Their staff changes their all the time, because their toxic. Run from this company!

The most disappointing massage here in Indy. 30 min tension relief and requested deep tissue for upper back...I got 23 mins (even after telling her she was 7 mins late) and to give me the full 30. The consultation was 30 secs. There was minimal pressure applied. The customer service was good though.
