I received a gift card from coworkers for Massage Envy in Mishawaka. I went on to book the appointment online as a new client and it showed a price if $70. When I got there I was told that there was another button I forgot to click but that it wasn't a problem that Megan could check me in there since there was an opening. She clearly saw my screen shot of the appointment and the price listed. The massage was great. When I went to pay I was charged $125 for the appointment. I was told that it was the non member price. I was not told this before hand was different. Later in explaining it to my coworker who visits frequently I was told thay I was charged extra instead of the new client private because Megan had made my appointment in office. Ibwas never told this and she did not explain this to me either. Whereas the massage was great. I feel like I was duped by Megan and overcharged by $50 with no clear explanation of why. I will not be returning and intend to spread the word about the business practices that Megan upholds for the Mishawake Indiana location.

Recently moved to the area from Brooklyn, New York and I’ve been in search of a proper location to handle my acne/skin problems. I was helped out by Megan at the front desk and she was wonderful to work with! Explained their services simply for me and helped me get the proper assistance I needed. My skin has never looked better in my life and to say that it has helped my confidence and outlook on life is an understatement, I even found my self joining their wellness-program to help decompress from my work week with a monthly 60-minute massage. Thank you to all the wonderful employees there.

Very bad customer service. They act like it's a cult you can't stop once you start. They are not transparent about their policies when you sign up. If you try to quit the call you at all hours to bug you.

It seems as though most negative reviews pertaining to this ME's location are due to the alleged difficulties surrounding redeeming gift cards, being upsold during the massage, or trying to book one of the most popular massage packages (deep tissue) same day and having to wait to be serviced. While I can't speak towards the validity surrounding gift card usage, what I can assure any future patron is that if you're looking for a quality massage that is also convenient, this is your place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful regarding any questions you could have. When I first walked in I was instantly greeted by Megan, a wellness consultant at the front desk who got me checked in no problem. She could tell I was new and physically sat down with me and walked me through the couple of forms I needed to fill out before my massage. She then made genuine conversation with me for several minutes before ushering me to the waiting room. I note this because it is so typical for workers just about anywhere to just stare blankly at you with little to no guidance, as if your mere presence bothers them. Thankfully that was not the case here, and Megan made it clear that she's not most people. Mind you, this is without mentioning my actual massage! The massage therapist I had, Tea, was phenomenal and created an environment that was relaxing, quiet, and tranquil. She only checked in to ask how the pressure was and to turn over. Once my massage was over, Megan then followed up with me asking me if I enjoyed my selected aromatherapy scent and even made suggestions for next time. Absolute sweetheart. As with most two sentence 1 star reviews, take them with a grain of salt. They were most likely written in the heat of the moment with some rather unpleasant emotions taking precedence over authentic feedback that could be used to prevent their experience from happening to them or someone else again. If you want an enjoyable experience from the moment you walk in the door to when you walk back out, this place is as professional and easy-going as it gets.

Do not go here. This place is incredibly unprofessional. They spend 90% of the massage trying to upsell you on something or trying to get you to sign up for the membership. They will harass you constantly about joining the membership and then it is nearly impossible to get out of it. They have no regard for whether their clients would rather have a peaceful massage or to chit chat and I’ve had multiple massage therapists talk the entire time making the whole experience a task. I had an INCREDIBLY unprofessional experience with someone named Daisy who asked if she could pray with me at the end of my massage. I hope that the massage envy corporation knows what is going at their locations but I’m sure they don’t care since their number one priority is trapping people into these memberships. I was waiting in the waiting area and one of the massage therapists or someone who worked there burped very loudly. They will also call you multiple times trying to get you to add an appointment or extend an appointment. Entirely unpleasant experience.

Bought the 12 month subscription to save a little money. Been regretting it more and more every month. Below average masseuse seem to be the norm here. *** Update*** Canceled my subscription on 11/04/2023 via the cancellation form, through the provided email. CONTUINOUS HARRASMENT every few week since. I was told everything was cancelled, yet they tried to charge my card for months to come! Finally got a call back from the Ft. Wayne office today 1/16/24 saying they are actually going to cancel. Only time will tell. BUYER BEWARE !!!! SCAM ALERT !!! DO NOT BUY INTO THE SUBSCRIPTION !!

I've been seeing Monica H for years and love her. She can do mid or firm pressure, she is so knowledgeable about anatomy, and does an excellent job working out my (very) tight muscles. I always leave feeling relaxed and looser! And I love the subscription -- priced right, and it keeps me from going too long without a massage!

This place is such a joke. My wife got a gift card and booked an appointment online. She shows up for her appointment and is informed the online scheduler doesn’t work and they have no record of her appointment. No apologies and no offer to do anything to compensate for the inconvenience. She ends up rebooking and we get a bad snow storm the day of her new appointment. When she calls to reschedule because the roads are in terrible condition, she’s informed that they’ll need to charge the card she put on file a $75 cancellation fee. They ended up reducing the fee to “only” $25 and seemed totally unbothered by the fact she was only scheduled for that day because of their screw up. These people make Comcast’s customer service look good. We didn’t bother rebooking and the gift card is in the trash. Also, instead of commenting under every bad review and letting us know where else we can submit our feedback, maybe the business can just take this feedback and provide better service?

Very disappointed in this business. We have had a membership with them in the past. My wife and I. We live over an hr away. They have canceled on us on several occasions so we gave up our membership after a year. Well we got a gift card from our daughter, so we decided to use it. Made reservations several weeks ago. Today was our appointment. Guess what? They canceled on me and said my wife could still go. The entire appt was so we both could go at the same time. They was also nice enough to let me know since they had to cancel on me that I wouldn’t be charged a fee. Wow. I will never go there for another massage. Wish I knew a way of getting our money back from the gift card. Not professional at all.

Walked in made an apt for sme day, only had to wait an hour for a deep tissue message! Was pleasantly surprised that they had an available apt so quickly. Left, & came back at my scheduled time. Was walked back, but not shown where to go. I walked back up front, lady behind desk said sorry I was supposed to show you where the waiting room is. I sat in there looking forward to my massage. It was to good to be true, because I sat in there as clients came & go get their message for 45 mins I waited to come to find out that the same lady that forgot to show me where to go says to me my massage therapist didn't know I was waiting g to be seen!!! As you can imagine my disappointment, & anger I had to hold back. She offered an upgraded service the next day! What a joke! Won't ever be back.

I have had a membership for a few years and this last year has been a rip off. I had a microderm infusion today, which is a 50 minute hands on service. I received a 30 minute service. I was then informed that this counted as 2 services instead of the 1.5 services it cost me last time. All for getting just 9ver half the time I'm paying for. This isn't the first time this has happened. I also had a 50 minute facial a few months ago and received 30 minutes of it. I answered the survey I received to communicate my dissatisfaction, and never heard a word. I also had a 90 minute massage that I would presume should be 80 minutes of hands on and got 70 minutes. This location is terrible for providing the services that you have already paid for, and now they throw a card in front of you with how much you should be tipping for each service. The employees are nice enough, but it's difficult to get appointments and then to be ripped off with the times is terrible customer service. Thankfully, I have canceled my service, but now I will be a half service short to even get a final service that I've already paid for. This place needs some help.

I’ve been waiting to leave a review for some time, because we wanted to give Massage Envy time to make things right with us. Unfortunately they did not deliver. If you don’t want to read the long review, here’s a synopsis: DON’T book Melissa for a massage as she is unprofessional and from my wife’s experience, just bad at giving a massage. Also, DON’T expect any decent compensation for a bad experience other than a small discount for a massage. Here’s what happened: My wife came here on her birthday in October, and had a terrible time with Melissa. I’ve waited this long before leaving a review, because we did put in a formal request to Haley, and Haley assured me we would be contacted within the next couple of days by the manager Lashondra (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly). I was actually really hopeful as Haley was very kind and understanding over the phone. Lashondra did call back in a day or two, but it has been some time for us to call back as life has been pretty crazy for us. My wife had been looking forward to this massage for a month, and Melissa made it a stressful experience from the beginning. First she didn’t know it was supposed to be a prenatal massage, and tried to get my wife to go to the front desk and fill out forms, even though my wife had received a prenatal massage a few times already at this location. Once Melissa knew that, she acted like she was put out and inconvenienced by my wife, causing more anxiety. The massage felt like when you have a friend apply sun block to your back. When she asked for more pressure, Melissa refused (even though she supposedly does firm massages according to her online profile). She also completely ignored any and all knots. Basically she would find a knot, pretend it wasn’t there, and lightly rub around the knot and move on. My wife also specifically requested her to focus on the neck and shoulders, and Melissa didn’t do them at all. I understand everybody has bad days, but it seems like Melissa did everything wrong when it comes to giving a massage. She represented the company poorly and made my wife feel terrible. I’m honestly not sure how she got passed the vetting process. I don’t think it’s out of the question to hope for a free massage for my wife since the one she was looking forward to was abysmal, but they offered a massage at a “reduced rate” for $75. Massage Envy, do better.

Was told they could do two facials at the same time, purchased two for my sister in law and I to have the experience together and chat. When I went to book the appointment, was told they are not able to accommodate the request. I tried to help come up with solutions but nothing was done. Manager called me back after a daily vm had been left for her over a week. She apologized but said there was nothing to be done. I asked for her boss to call me and was told she is too busy. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I guess you can tell customer whatever you'd like. I can't get a refund or anything to go somewhere else that will follow through with what they offer. Will not be going back again.

Wonderful facility! Hayli and Erica are always professional, welcoming and efficient on the “front line.” Amy O. is the exceptional massage therapist who helped us most often. (Kelly P and Mickie’s services were also notable.) This is NOT my home ME but we were in the Granger area for an extended stay due to unexpected health issues. We are grateful to have had these helpers at this time in our lives.
