I have a membership with ME but thinking it’s not worth it after visiting this location. Came for a full body massage (light/medium pressure, no focus areas). The massage was mostly with one hand with a lot of pauses. At one point therapist stayed on a random spot on my lower back for so long time I had to tell her it was starting to hurt. Also my arms weren’t massaged ? I should have said something then and there, but I was mostly confused and wanted to leave 😐 the random spot on my back still hurts

Make sure you read all the negative reviews, not just mine. Consistent issues with greed and continually taking payments without being able to provide services. Additionally, treats to be sent to collections, cancelled appointments, poor massage experiences, rude front desk, just to name a few. I had been going to Massage Envy at: 3162 E. Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ 85016 I had a massage with Jennifer months ago and enjoyed her services. She is a great massage therapist. Due to my experience with the her, I enrolled in their monthly membership. I have 5, one hour, massages accumulated on my account. I went in for a massage on 11/25 and was told that I could not get a massage with Jennifer because I was pregnant. There is one therapist at the office who will do “prenatal massages.” I had this therapist one time previously when Jennifer wasn’t available. She spent my entire massage going on about healthcare conspiracies. I work in healthcare and was blown away with her comments, let alone the hour and a half I did not get to relax. When I asked for lighter pressure it was ignored. I walked out feeling worse than when I went in. I was told having a massage with this person was the ONLY option at the location near me. The only other option they provided was to go to a different location. Again, I didn’t sign up for a different location or different therapist. I asked to pause my membership and was told I couldn’t have access to any of my credits, that I had already paid for until I started paying again, OR I could pay $20 a month to keep my account active. This is not what they advertise when signing up. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service, accountability, or understanding. I spoke with Daniel at the front desk and expressed my frustration and was told the “manager” would call me the next day. Instead of hearing from the manager, Daniel called and said they had a resolution for me. He then proceeded to offer me the same 2 options as when I was in office the day before. The “manager” couldn’t even call me as promised. This is the second time I have been told I would get a call back from the manager at this location and never heard anything. I finally submitted a complaint to the BBB and my credit card company who suspended the payments. Within HOURS I received a text message, email, and call from Massage Envy requesting a new credit card to be put on file. I AGAIN requested to speak to the manager who, again, wasn’t there. Supposedly a note will be left for them “Daniel or Christine,” to call me. I am not one to leave poor reviews, but this has been one of the worst experiences and worst customer service I have ever had and I hope it can help someone else going forward. They do not care about their clients or the fact that they cannot provide services you are paying for, it is all for their profit. Heed caution and find a relaxing environment elsewhere. 12/18/2024 I heard from the regional director who was very kind and genuine. She helped me find a resolution.

I went in July 30 for a massage. It was horrible. Then I proceeded to get texts for two months even though every time they text, I said stop texting me finally I called And they stopped texting me. Now I’m getting phone calls with two minute long voicemails. When I try to call, they don’t answer the phone. Horrible, marketing horrible services. I highly do not recommend

After today I will never use this company again all they have done is kept what ever money I had on my account due to me not being able to get back on track with my monthly payments I am having a financial hard ship right now and they chose to keep 1 month of my money and not even refund it back to me after so many years I been coming here smh

Never had a "professional" massage with hands wearing gloves.. my hair was soaked with massage oil after the scalp massage.. not pleasant. She did not know where the muscles were. I just endured this massage awkwardly until it was over.. young lady was nice but I won't be back.

This was the worst massage I’ve ever received. The girl seemed angry and inexperienced. She used gloves during the massage which was very odd and uncomfortable, not to mention that it didn’t work with the lotion. She also didn’t spend the same time on each section. Maybe spent 15 minutes on one side of my back and 5 on the other side. I also had a short rapid tension relief session added to the massage and it was actually a bit painful. I told her this but she did not change the pressure or how she was using the gun. Looking back, I should’ve left at the beginning of the experience. I don’t know if my masseuse was just having an off day but I will never book with her again.

First time going at this place and lemme tell you DeSiree helped me out with Everything and she’s really a nice and chill person to talked to and after the session she recommended me few Exercises I’m very grateful and thankful that she provide me the help and services Will Definitely come back again!

I worked with several aestheticians before finding Samantha at Arcadia location. She is absolutely amazing. She helped me figure out my skin and find the right products. I love coming to see her at least once a Month for the past year. She never disappoints! Thanks for saving me from adult acne ❤️❤️❤️ Also started this program with massage envy over a year ago, I think it affordable totally worth it!

Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. They’ll cancel your appointments last minute without speaking to you more than they keep them. I have showed up numerous times for appointments that are booked at least three weeks in advance (when I leave my last session) and they’ll say oh we left you a message that we canceled your massage. I look and they’ve called me like 4 hours earlier to cancel and never spoke to me. It’s insane, and they do nothing to rectify the situation - horrible customer service. I reached the point where after years and years of being a customer, I finally just switched to Elements. Just don’t bother, it’s not worth the hassle and headache.

This place is very inconvenient. I called in hoping to schedule a a lymphatic massage being a breast cancer survivor. I was told that even though there’s openings, they will only do it for an hour and a half for the more expensive price or nothing at all. I’ve never been to a massage envy, but can’t help to think what poor business skills. Then when I said this is very inconvenient, they said yeah thank you have a nice day and hung up. It’s right next to my house and I wanted to love this place and get to go here but that was a horrible experience, especially when I really needed this massage and was interested in using massage envy for the first time
