Where to start. First off, I'm highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and manner in which my massage was done by Mason. During my awkward massage with this inexperienced therapist, I asked how long he's been licensed. He stated 2 years. I looked up his license 3/1/23 ring a bell?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! One of the first conversations we had was the fact that men can work on woman, yes. However, later on into the massage he showed me he should NOT be with female clients as what type of work or massage techniques were HIGHLY unacceptable. I indicated my pain spots were my lower back and spine area. This young man focused on my pec area (told me he specializes in that) and also how he could have prevented folks' surgery if they would have scheduled a massage. After he spent too much time on my chest area, once on my back, he tried 3 different times to have me lay back on my back so he could do other techniques. Why fill out paperwork and state the fact of pain areas if this kid is going to try to get out of that?? Someone needs to take this young man off his high horse and bring him back down to life. Someone with a brand-new license shouldn't be making statements like that. He also stated that if a man was inappropriate, they could sue this company for a nice check. Excuse me?! I told him that I have arthritis in my hands and while he was working on my right hand, he made comments such as, I'm pretty flexible for someone who has arthritis as almost trying to make me a liar about my health conditions! Shame on me for not stopping this massage from moving forward, but I've processed this and looked up information I needed to know. I've spoken to an AJ (from P.H. location) about this situation briefly this morning who said Peyton or Christy (hopefully spelled correctly) would be who I need to speak with. I was able to reach Peyton and informed her of this entire situation and my disappointment and also that I would reach out to the news. I was told Christy was "off today" and she "would probably" call me back. I had to tell her to watch her loose terms she throws around. She's been an assistant manager for a year and half, and it truly shows. This staff needs SERIOUS continued education on professionalism and maybe Todd Schrader should give those out to his staff instead of trying to push up selling or sales in general while I'm trying to get the Hell out of there!!!! UPDATE*** I spoke with manager Christy whom I asked if to become licensed do you need to take both a practical test and theory test - to which she stated yes, we take a 600-question test. I said so no practical test? She stated, oh no we do and continuing education, etc. Upon speaking with State Board right now, unless you may be living in NY or HI no one is taking a practical test baby. DO BETTER AND STOP LYING. THIS IS MANAGEMENT TOO.

The staff is very friendly. I go every two weeks for a massage. The team is knowledgeable and it is reasonably priced.

Took a half day off from work, got to my appointment 15 min early as asked to do the paperwork. Front desk team were very nice, taken back to the waiting room. Watched as others were taken back. After waiting for 15 minutes I’m told the therapist was not coming in and had an emergency. I get things happen. But what I am not okay with is nothing was said before when I arrived. I drove 30 minutes to get to this location and again I took a half day off of work for a much needed self care day. They asked if I wanted the manager to call me. Yes. I do. It’s been over 24 hours and no call has been made. Nothing at all offered for the inconvenience of now an hour drive and a wasted half day. If I’m a no show you charge me. If your therapist is a no show you should compensate me. Was very interested in a membership, not even a chance now.

I had scheduled a hot stone massage and facial at the pleasant hills location. I booked these appointments a month in advance and had taken the day off work. I got the confirmation text the day before my appointments and confirmed yes to both services. I show up 20 minutes before my appointment as requested to fill out paperwork only to be told that they didn’t turn on the hot stones and they could not do my hot stone massage. They said we can just go ahead and give a regular massage. I stated I only like hot stone and that is why I booked a hot stone. After being let down, I was then told I could wait around for my facial. I was not about to wait an hour and a half to be let down again. They tried to get me to reschedule but I stated I will go to another location. They did nothing to rectify the situation. I was on the verge of tears as I had taken the day off work, confirmed my appointments as I was suppose to yet they dropped the ball and I could not get the hot stone massage I requested a month in advance. The icing on the cake was that it was for my birthday. Thank you Massage Envy Pleasant Hills for ruining my birthday.

I always thought this place with a monthly fee was ridiculous. That’s until i had the best message ever here (gift). I joined and its been almost a year. I’ve gotten facials and even tried the stretching. As a member you get lots of free perks. However, I declared this year I’m working on me. So, as long as you use the services each month, you save much more $$ than a non member. Best thing I’ve ever bought myself. I’m hooked! Recommend if you make the time for yourself!!!!

I made an appointment on Friday and when I got there today for my appointment at 2 o'clock they didn't have me scheduled so after much to do I went home and came back at 4:30 and had a massage from another person not the 1st one and they gave me $15 off a lotion The staff was not very nice 😒

I went here for the first time yesterday and loved it. I have been in horrible pain for the past few weeks and Macy relieved so much of that in one session. I didn’t plan on signing up for a package, but had such a great experience that I knew I had to. Macy was the best and made me feel so comfortable. AJ at the front desk was also so sweet and very helpful answering all my questions.

Weak over priced Tipped 15% and left. I usually tip 35% if good. Got a free Attitude and a weak massage.ill stick to the Chinese version of deep tissue massage for a better job and for a more reasonable price.

Be Leary of the contract. Lots of loopholes in favor of M. E. and nothing to benefit the client. Never used my membership but contract only gives you 2 ways out. Also the contract is offered right after initial massage when your mind is in a relaxed state. Be careful.

Nicole has healing hands and great bedside manners. She helped me out drastically and I couldn't be more grateful. I've tried chiropractor visit after visit and they couldn't figure out how to help. When I'm in PA again, I'll definitely be back. The only gripe I really had with my visit is that the document you fill out as a first time patient doesn't seem to matter because you're asked personal questions over the counter anyway.
