Jonathan is awesome massage therapist. He is great at making sure that his clients are comfortable. He is very knowledgeable on how to treat specific muscle pains, as well as recommending stretches to do at home. Jonathan is the reason I continue to come back to massage envy.

I searched tons of reviews last year before giving Matthew at Massage Envy a try. I bought a membership after the first session. He is amazing. I have had many massages in the area. Nobody compares to Matthew! Professional, attentive to details, and is simply the best.

Wonderful place for a massage! The front desk person Nicky is so nice and helpful and I recommend Aimee for your massages. They have a lot of great packages and are 100 percent better than Body Bar. I highly recommend Massage Envy!

i have been going here for two years and have never been so disappointed with a massage as i was today. i usually book with mary (she is AMAZING!!) but she is away so i decided to take a chance on Helen. i showed up at 12:45 for my 1:00 massage. i wasn’t taken back to a room until 1:05, and my massage didn’t actually start until 1:10. she told me it was due to back to back booking so i tried to overlook that because i get it, everyone is low staffed nowadays. the massage was to nicely put it subpar, pressure varied from very light to digging and to just plain hurting. i was also soaked in oil. she asked if she could massage my scalp and i said yes, not thinking that an immense amount of oil was going to be used and came out with my hair looking wet. she also was sniffling a lot making me think she was sick. and to top it all off at the end, she covered my feet in isopropyl alcohol to “clean them” and ended my massage 5 minutes early. (i took a shower literally 5 hours ago) so all in all, i lost 15 minutes off of a 60 minute massage. i also cannot go do errands now because again, i am soaked in oil. (would like to reiterate, i’ve been going here for two years and have never had this issue) i am very disappointed not only with my services, but also with whoever decided that massages should be scheduled one directly after another. there needs to be a five minute window in between so people don’t lose time and also, so the masseuses have time to be human and go to the bathroom or whatever they need to do.

Edit: I saw Mary the last time I was in and she gave one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She found tension and pain I didn’t even know existed. She also gave me some tips to try to avoid the muscles tensing up as much again. Definitely recommend! Joel did a great job! I purchased a package to come back monthly to work on chronic pain I have. Also the front end staff was very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about the packages offered. I believe the one woman’s name was Mona and she walked me through everything. I look forward to coming back!

Massage envy is infuriating to say the least. I have been calling the mccandless location since 7:30 and their phones are disconnected. They are all independently owned which they conveniently leave out when signing you up for a membership. They give you all sorts of coupons that you can only use at that specific location, which again they do not mention. I’m trying to pause or cancel my membership but since they want to disconnect their phones an hour and a half before they close, I cannot do that. If you try to call another location they can’t do anything for you. It’s all really annoying.
