I just had an awesome massage in Imperial Beach at Massage Envy with Rosio. she was amazing!! sometimes you can just tell a person is doing what their higher purpose is and that's how good she is!!

I been going to this location for almost 2 years. Last last year has been a headache my therapist left on maternity leave and I found someone with the name of denise that was good. Every month I started having issues where I had an appointment and last minute they will tell me they didn't book me. Or hours before my appointment they would tell me that my therapist had an emergency. I had an appointment for tomorrow and they called me to confirm, today they called me saying my therapist had another emergency and they can book me with rocio she is a nice lady but she adds a bit too much pressure to me so I said I will wait for denise for another day. They told me denise said she wasn't a good fit for me so now I get why every time there was an excuse. I would have appreciated if they just told me that since the beginning. They are very unorganized, I will be tryinga different location since I have my membership hopefully I have better luck.

My massage therapists were amazing and I love the convenience of the location but the customer service from staff is a 1. My husband specifically requested a male masseuse and when he showed up it was a female masseuse. Not to mentioned they never apologized. They said they tried to reach out to him (there were no emails, missed calls or messages.) I had a medical issue and was 26 minutes under the 24 hour mark and they wouldn't reschedule me without charging. I'm so glad to have canceled my massage envy membership. I will however miss the massages from their great massage therapist but it's just not worth the hassle from the front desk. Edit to add I did submitt more information when the incident with my husband happened with no resolution.

Best to be a member for cheaper massages. Might take a few tries to find the right person. Schedule in advance as it can get busy to schedule last minute.

Great front desk service. And their recommendations are always spot on when you tell them what you’re looking for. Friendly faces with genuine interactions. Haven’t had a bad moment yet and I’ve been going here for 2 years!

I’ve been going here for YEARS. Lili is the absolutely best massage therapist, she isn’t only trained very well, but her bedside manner is extremely professional. Christi gives the best facials also! The front desk staff are so kind and caring. I have no complaints.

Staff has communication issues. I tried giving a massage as a gift and they ended up providing the service and charged my friend’s card instead of mine. I confirmed with them multiple times that my card was on file before the service. It totally blindsided my friend and ruined the whole experience. So so frustrated with the miscommunication and lack of accountability.

Don't waste your time. Staff is incompetent. And customers are not their priority. I canceled my appointment and they still charged me. I never received any confirmation texts/calls, but they must be lying because they say they did. What a joke...

Former Client: Massage Envy Austell is not the usual ME brand. The management is poor, opportunist and liars. The therapists are amateurs to, say the least, and the rooms are simply overused and dingy. I attempted to complete my full year membership without using this particular establishment and was told that my membership has been suspended due to not paying November 2022. The booking is in no way convenient for professional with careers. I’ve lost one session because the estician was a no show and another because I just couldn’t get a convenient time to come. They are understaffed and unfriendly. My understanding was that my membership ended in October 2022, the last time that I received services, and still had two services available to me. Now, they are requiring that I pay another month without being able to gift the massages to family and friends. At this point, please refund the money that I paid in the form of gift cards or cash and allow me to patron another more quality establishment for my very hard earned money. I’m waiting for a corporate response that I am sure will never happen. Save your money and time. Cheaper is not always the route to go.

Mia, the receptionist was wonderful and my massage therapist, Dennis, was superb! I highly recommend this place. Great staff and really nice, clean place to relax and feel great.

The staff are incompetent and not trained well at all. The manager never follows up. This is by far the worst massage envy location that I’ve been to. I would highly recommend finding a massage parlor that is not apart of the Massage Envy franchise because the service and quality varies drastically.

I have really bad back issues and every time I go I’m able to move again. Great job and the ladies here know how to do their job. Highly recommend. A little pricy but you pay for what you get.

Muy mal servicio. Me dan cita por teléfono y cuando voy me dicen que el masajista no está disponible y que no han podido avisarme por teléfono para cancelar. Pero si yo hubiese cancelado con menos de 12 horas de antelación me cobran el servicio. Pero me hacen ir hasta allí para decirme que mi cita queda canelada porque no hay masajista disponible. Muy mal.

The massage was great! Very deep, slightly painful (a good painful), and left me extremely relaxed. Service was punctual and I squeezed a little over 50 minutes from my 1 hour slot. Non-member pricing is very expensive, but you are also paying for the vetted credentials as opposed to private practice.

The studio itself is very beautiful, peaceful and clean. The front staff was wonderful and soo nice. But, I had a terrible experience with my massage therapist, Jose S. I could tell he really knew his stuff, but he was much too invasive in my very private regions. I feel that if you are going to be going anywhere near there, then you should communicate that with your client. You are vulnerable, naked or nearly naked, on a table and sometimes it’s hard to speak up when you should. I will forever stop a massage therapist if I am uncomfortable but I don’t think any massage therapist should rub the top and front of your hip bones by your pelvic region or go very high up on your inner thigh. If you are going to, ask if it’s ok first.

While visiting Chula Vista, CA, I scheduled appointments twice at the Imperial Beach location with Jose S. I received two of the best massages and then a foot scrub treatment I've ever had, either at a Massage Envy or any other massage establishment. He was professional, attentive and made sure that the pressure was right for my health. I appreciate the great service and the great location. Thank you!
