My wife purchased a 6 month agreement/membership? to gift it to me for 6 monthly massages- during Christmas. A gift card was generated for 420 dollars and a counting card with punching holes was provided. I have gone twice to get deep tissue massages and there has always been an embarrassment to me-twice- asking for payment. My response had always been to charge to my wife’s credit card account- that they always had on file… that was NOT done or understood- and instead, they kept me there in front of other customers explaining to me credit card billing cycles!— Are you kidding me?/how embarrassing for me and how aggravating. This was my wife’s Christmas gift…..and she agreed to pay sessions times six - every month- to cover for my massages!.. The management gave my wife dubious instructions , and different explanations- despite having valid credit cards to charge! - it seems extremely confusing and scammy to provide a gift certificate paper with a set amount as a gift and for the recipient to be asked -every time- for payment? What kind of bull is this? -it seems to defeat the purpose of buying a gift certificate at the business! Doesn’t it?—I decided NOT to ever step foot or recommend this business ever again. BTW we are both physicians with multiple businesses in the area- so it has never been about Not paying. Definitively, management needs to get their ACT together.

So I was created by an awesome Victoria was so sweet had me really excited to get my massage I entered the room to Juan he was polite and professional gave me a 2 min consultation gave a Werid massage it was good sometime during like having to direct the massage strength levels i told him to go harder and he went very hard all and all the massage wasn’t horrible but he started at 6:10 and ended at 7:45 that’s not 60 mins when I asked the guy he said 10 min consultation and I kept saying you owe me 15 mins and he shook his head and walked away and slammed the door I told victors and she was humble and sweet my husband had a massage right before me and he did the same thing 20 mins early but his experience with the same guy was worse he was tickling and petting him when he asked for deep tissue he took his head rest away in the middle of his massage and then he had to sit up right for the rest of his massage all and all we were very disappointed for such a pristine place you should really treat you coustmers better time management is owe for such an expense massage

Love Massage Envy and Love this location. Staff in the front is helpful and kind. The atmosphere is soothing. Aolani is an excellent therapist. She was able to address my cervical spine issues and had an in depth knowledge of how to address the stiffness and pain. She gave excellent suggestions for improvement.

The message therapists are good. But the customer service from the front desk and management are terrible. I would recommend any other Message Envy location. Save your time and avoid the Carrollwood location!

Claudia is a friendly and capable massage therapist when you're looking for a relaxing massage. If that's what you want I highly recommend her. If you want a massage with any type of pressure I would look for someone else. She tended to do most of the massage sitting down, so she could not use her legs to find the necessary strength to provide the pressure I was looking for. I suggested more pressure on several occasions and got a little more at one point, but then came to the realization that this was as good as it gets and just decided to settle in and go with it. If I didn't I would have just been annoyed and ruined the relaxation I needed to get any benefit of the massage.
