This location has been cancelling appointment a lot lately or moving appointment times. Highly unfortunate, but I would not recommend them. Other locations might be better, but Shoal Creek has had some problems for about the last 6 months. Hopefully they can hire appropriate staff in the future.

I booked a massage based off a gift card I'd been given by my husband for Mother's Day. I haven't gotten a massage in probably 15 years, and was needing a bit more background knowledge as to how to go about selecting a timed massage with an elevation. I explained my modesty, my sensory issues, and my overall lack in wanting to be touched. I felt a bit guilty because of this, but Annie (at the front desk) and Amanda (my massage therapist) were super kind and reassuring along the way. Because of my anxiety in the process of receiving a massage, Amanda engaged in conversation with me throughout the process, answering questions over my general curiosity with the profession. We talked about our children, and I noted she did not beak my periods of relaxation until I instigated the conversation. She gave me gentle reminders to breathe when I failed to notice I was holding my breath. She worked difficult areas and educated me on ways to correct my stance or hold so that I could minimize the pain in the same area going forward. For example, I've had pain in my right hand and wrist since October due to a fall in my inclined driveway. I'd failed to mention this to her because it's just become part of my daily grind, but she found it. She worked diligently on my right hand and wrist; I can't believe the difference. I didn't even know I could go pain free in that hand. Just figured it was a part of getting older. Needless to say, I'm becoming a member through Annie to book a massage monthly with Amanda. They were excellent to work with. I spoke briefly to Annie after my massage about the membership program, and she introduced me to Brie in the process. We had an enjoyable conversation about feedback, so I'm leaving this feedback for all of those ladies (Amanda, Annie, and Brie) to see! Thanks for helping this awkward toddler-mom out! Wonderful experience. Joey was amazing. This was my first time. I was super comfortable. She got all my problem points. I could feel the stress leave my body. I will absolutely recommend this place. I will also be back. I’ve been all smiles since I left. I’ve never felt more relieved
