I was asked to come in for an earlier appointment. I showed up on time, and there was no one there. I called and they said they are running late. 30 minutes past, not even a person in the office. Tried calling again twice and went to voicemail.

I am so happy with my services from Massage in LA. Both massage therapists I have seen gave me such a deep therapeutic massage. It wasn’t too light, or too firm, it was perfect and you could tell they were really educated on pain relief through massage. My facial was absolutely amazing too! I felt rejuvenated and my face was glowing! Ken is always warm and friendly at the front desk and makes sure you’re satisfied! Will be a return customer for life!

Just had a 90 min Swedish massage here and it was amazing! I’m so relaxed. My therapist worked out dozens of knots in my shoulders/upper back that I built up from sitting at my computer all day. The space was very clean and the staff were friendly. I will definitely go back!

I booked a couples massage for my pregnant friend and her husband, intending for it to be a surprise. Well, they got there, and it turned out the husband hated massages. Whoops... Luckily, the staff was so accommodating and allowed the wife to take both massages (one then, and the other at a later date). I think most places wouldn't have been so flexible, seeing as the masseuse was standing by and all. Plus my friend LOVED her prenatal massage.

Let me start off by saying that the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. But that’s where it stopped… Being someone who gets 2 massages on a monthly basis, I decided to give this place a try since my masseuse has moved out of state.. and let me just say NEVER AGAIN! In my 15 yrs, this was one of the worst massages I’ve ever had. I have been left in so much pain that I can’t move my arm or lift it. Ever since the massage I’ve spent the whole 24 hrs in bed with pain killers and heating pad because the massage therapist has somehow managed to trigger some nerve or muscle of mine leaving my entire neck and right shoulder swollen. I am having to go see my doctor tomorrow thank to this massage so I’ll let you be the judge. Not to mention during the whole massage I did continue to voice the discomfort but it all fell on deaf ears. One advise for businesses: when a client tells you something didn’t go right, instead of immediately getting defensive and saying “this has never happened” or “ I can’t believe this” maybe lean a bit more on the understanding side. I will admit that Ken offered me $35 off but given the condition I am in, I shouldn’t have had to pay at all. Trust me when I say this I wouldn’t even want that massage for free!!!

My massage was terrible and PAINFUL! Tried communicating with the masseuse that it was too hard, but he didn’t care to let up on his pressure. Pressed hard in places that there is zero muscle to rub, I was completely shocked at his technique. I should have gotten up and left but had high hopes it would get better. I needed ibuprofen afterward to stop the pain. It’s two days later and I am still sore and bruised. I wish I hadn’t paid cash because I would be asking for a full refund and then some. Ridiculous.

The first time I visited massage in LA I did not have a great experience with the massage therapist , it just seemed like she did not know what she was doing. BUT im giving this place 5 stars because of the above and beyond customer service from the kind lady at the desk and owner Ken. The woman at the desk assured me that I would not have to pay for the service, apologized sincerely for the inconvenience, and offered me to come in for another massage with a different therapist complimentary of no charge. I took them up with their offer and came in and saw Elizabeth (who is incredible!!) it was a night and day difference completely . I was more than happy and am looking forward to returning . This may be the best customer service I’ve received in a while thank you guys :) -madison

They may disrespect people of color. Some workers come to work not feeling well, as an excuse for not giving you a good massage. Some will even give you their personal phone numbers, it’s not a bad place just unique.

This place is fantastic. Quality massage from staff that really know what they are doing. I've been to a few places that basically just poke and rub you for an hour. This is not one of those places.

I came for a massage not to be oiled down.....a man massaging a woman should be gentle not putting all body weight when using forearm to massage. The location was small for a couple massage. Location looks nothing like website. $170 to be oiled down. We were visiting from out of town horrible experience

My partner and I got a couples massage. My massage was decent, but my partner’s massage was disappointing. I’m not sure if it’s because we were probably the last appointment of the day or what, but my partner regrets not cutting the massage short — it sounds as though it was delivered by an untrained amateur. Lots of random rubbing (sometimes in strange places, like between her breasts), pinching around without rhyme or reason, and finally just seeming to give up on using any pressure about halfway through.

This is my 1st time going to this place after lockdown (4th time overall). Was there a change in ownership? The vibe has completely changed from pre-covid times. Different staff, different masseuse, different experience. I was not happy with the last massage at all. I arrived at 5PM on the dot. By the time I was in the room and the masseuse had her hands on me it was probably 10+ min. Massage was over by 555PM. I was also very oily. I did not really notice until I got in my new 2021 vehicle. I got all the panels very oily. Unfortunately i was wearing shorts, so the oil got on my non-leather seat as well. The massage was OK if it was a $50/hr massage place. It wasn't Bad, but for a massage that charges $85/hr, it did not live up to the expectation. (full disclosure - i booked through Classpass, not directly through their site) The lady that massaged me did not compare to the masseuse that took care of me pre-covid times (shorter italian woman). I was on the fence between rating 2 or 3 stars, but i'm annoyed about the oil stains that I now have in my car.

Quality has gone way down over the years. There is a revolving door of massage therapists, and every time I'd get one who was wonderful, she wasn't there a month or so later. It may be a function of that field that people move around so much. But they are not Covid compliant. They did not take my temperature when I recently came in and had nothing in writing explaining how they are taking extra precautions. None of the therapists wear the gowns that are expected in this field. At my last visit, they told me only on arrival that the therapist I had been scheduled with and who was wonderful was unavailable due to a minor car accident, but they could have called me so I could have rescheduled. I took a chance on someone else who was new to the place and regret it. It was not a good massage and she became irritated with me when I asked for her to either lighten her touch or make another accommodation. The owner is an excellent and very warm massage therapist but she is not there very much. Too bad about that. I do not plan on returning.
