It was more of a rub than a massage. I said hip area was an area I'd like focus on, but she didn't even touch that area. It was like she was so tired and no care or energy. Very disappointed. I will not be returning. Didn't even feel like I had a massage.

I may give a lot of reviews but look no further for your message needs. Wow. Just wow. Chris was my message therapist and he is BY FAR the best message therapist I have ever had in my life. I asked for deep tissue and he delivered. Having several issues and the worst being my shoulder pain, he somehow worked his magic to make the pain almost disappear. I have always resigned to being with chronic pain but leaving there was the first time I felt good!! However, what made the overall visit wonderful is that when I walked in, the receptionist was very lovely and pleasant, they gave you water (not the tiny bottles), and the service was hands down fantastic. I look forward to my future appointments! Happy New Year to all the staff there and to Chris. Thank you… truly.

There isn't one, and that's because there is never any therapist available. If you don't book months in advance you can never get in. There answer to that is to raise the monthly fee. So now I get to pay more for services I barely get to enjoy. Please help me understand how that works. God bless and thanks for your time.

If I could give a higher rating I would to Ms. Jeanette at the front. I have had a membership at this location for a while and her customer service has never wavered. Every time I come in ( or even sometimes call) she always greets me by my name, which makes me feel welcome and appreciated. Jeanette is always professional in the every aspect from her welcoming you into spa, her wardrobe, talking to the staff to checking you out. I just love this location.... Vitoria, Jaslin for Massages are your girls...They listen and focus on areas that are given you trouble. Janaya gives the absolute best Facials and takes her time to answer questions about concerns about issues with your skin

I received a Swedish massage 💆‍♀️ from Janet that was coupled with lymphatic drainage and it was exactly what I needed! I live with chronic inflammation due to autoimmune disease and she knew exactly what I needed to feel better. I slept well that evening and was able to move around without pain and significantly less stiffness in my joints. Her technique and touch were filled with so much healing energy and I will be seeking her services again in the near future.

My experience with Massage Luxe is always great from the minute I enter until I walk out the door .. My massage therapist Janet felt like she waved a magic wand over my muscle spasm, instantly the pain & tightness vanished.. Also She was so comfortable to talk with it was more like mind , body and spirit session...I can't wait to get back on her table in the near future..

My recent experience with Massage Luxe in Chesapeake left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I had to contact their General Manager, Janet, to discuss canceling my appointment due to a schedule conflict. While I acknowledge there is typically a 2-hour cancellation window, I was only 9 minutes late, and as a new client, I had hoped for some understanding and flexibility. Unfortunately, the GM's response was shockingly rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the GM abruptly hung up on me during our conversation. This level of discourtesy was completely uncalled for and unacceptable. It left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer. When I informed the General Manager that I intended to give them a negative review based on my experience, her response was simply, "I don't care." However, it's essential to note that I have no problem with my therapist, Jasline, who has proven herself to be the best massage therapist I've ever experienced. Her professionalism and skill are exceptional, and she is a credit to the establishment. Due to the negative experience with the General Manager and the unprofessional behavior displayed, I promptly canceled my subscription with Massage Luxe Chesapeake. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone, as the lack of customer care and rudeness shown by their GM overshadows the exceptional services provided by therapists like Jasline. There are undoubtedly better options in the area that prioritize professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Questionable massage at this location. So last night I went in to my appointment. The lady at the front desk was friendly and awesome. However my massage was a little odd. I’m even hesitant to call it a massage. I really don’t think that Janet knew what she was doing and that she needs a lot more training. For about a quarter of it my arms were placed so they dangled off of the bed. Other times she was just kinda of jiggly/making my arms kind of wave around. It just felt like there was little actual massaging. And this isn’t my first massage I’ve been a member for several years so I know that there are a lot of different techniques out there. But it really felt like things were just being made up as she went along. She asked me what my focus areas were and I told her that it was my upper shoulders. And that was the only areas that was touched. Lower back, legs etc barely even touched. Usually when I leave a massage I have oil covering my body as one would expect from a massage. Not this time. Anywhere that wasn’t the focus area was very briefly touched on top of the sheet. I wasn’t going to write a review but I could really feel when I woke up today the difference between areas. She also stopped the massage to make me do breathing exercises. I breathe pretty shallowly so forcing myself to breathe the way she wanted me to so she could see my stomach extend was uncomfortable. She also told me that I favor the left and that was the feminine side. So either there was a problem with my femininity or a woman in my life. I have never once in my life had my femininity questioned. I was really taken back by that. The whole experience was very odd and I just wanted to get out of there asap. Like I said the lady at the front desk was awesome and polite so props to her and that’s why it’s a two star review and not a one star.

Hi All, I have booked an appointment in MassageLuxe Chesapeake on October 16th 2023 at 7:00 PM EST. At 6:00 PM EST someone called me from the MassageLuxe and informed that one of their massage therapist quit the job and I have to reschedule the appointment. They have reschedule my appointment to today which is October 24th, 2023. Due to busy day I missed to inform them to reschedule my appointment and based on their 2 hours policy they have deducted $120 from my credit card. I am not saying that its not my fault, yes I forgot to inform them to reschedule my appointment. I am writing this to those customers who are busy and booking their massage appointments with MassageLuxe Chesapeake make sure when they call and inform you to reschedule the appointment one hour before they don't have any policy to give that customer a free massage service in the next session because its their fault, but if the customer is busy or have any emergency at home and some how that person missed to reschedule/cancel the appointment they will charge your credit/debit card. No matter if someone is dying in your family make sure you call them first and cancel the appointment. They took my money without giving me any service because I forgot to cancel/reschedule my appointment, that clearly stated they don't care about their clients. Hope this will help you in the future before even book any appointment with MassageLuxe Chesapeake. Thanks!

I had an appointment but my therapist didn't show up. I can say this had never happened to me before but I didn't receive any explanation or attempts to rectify the situation as I had taken off work to make time for an appointment I scheduled weeks in advance. Disappointed in their response to my experience.

I have been experiencing horrible massages for years. I have tried several locations and not found one that I wanted to give a second try to. I am thankful that I started going here because I have had 3 different massage therapists and they are all exceptional!!! However, my favorite and the only one I will see from this point on is Christopher!!! He is phenomenal! I highly recommend going to see him.

I’ve never had a massage here, but I can tell you the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also, the atmosphere is so beautiful and tranquil. I’m saving the 5th star for my visit.😊 I haven’t quite decided on the massage I want as I have to wait a bit longer from a fractured vertebrae in my spine. Though I’m very much looking forward to it.

Unpleasant experience for the first time calling. Don’t employ people that don’t have customer service skills. She was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her. Terrible first impression. I should have read the reviews before I called.

BEWARE they have the worst Customer SERVICE ever. And the organization has no structure. If you have a issue it can't be escalated to corporate,because according them, they don't know how to access them. But they told me, my concern was escalated to corporate. How do YOU escalate something to someone you have no way of contacting?? I was also hung up on by an employee. Go to MASSAGE ENVY.. Stress FREE. I only tried them cause they are closer .

My mother and I went there for a massage and everyone was so helpful. I made a last minute appointment and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in trying to fit me in because I was getting married in two days. Then once we were there our therapists were very nice and their conversations helped us to relax. Jaslyn and Val are very good at what they do.

Three stars can easily be changed to 5 stars if Massage Luxe does the right thing. I wont get into details as its to much to get into. Lexi the young lady at the front desk deserves 5 stars and more. She was extremely professional, understanding and empathetic to my concerns. I've been in the customer service industry for 30+ years and Lexi was great. Massage Luxe you have a great employee in Ms. Lexi please take care of her. And when the district manager reaches out to me, please take care of me.

My husband and I have the couples package where we get one massage a month. It's a 60min massage and for $30 you can add an extra 30min which is cool. Brandy a therapist there is fantastic, very skilled, strong and educated in her line of work.
