Great place lots of great stylists, I love this because I sometimes make a last minute appointment with whoever is available and they always do a great job. I always like my color and cut. Would not go anywhere else.

I brought my two kids here for hair cuts. Everyone was so friendly and very knowledgeable. And the cuts were perfect! Especially getting a young boys fade just right.

This place is very discriminatory to people with disabilities, especially Mrs. Rende and even her daughter. The rest of her family is not like her and her daughter, though.

Donna Rende is a fantastic stylist! she used to own her own salon so really knows what she’s doing and her personality is also lovely. She cuts, colors and highlights my hair and cuts my 11 year old daughter’s hair and does such a great job. She is also so flexible and accommodating, squeezing me in even when I call last minute for an appointment. The owner is also so sweet! I just love this place and absolutely ADORE Donna! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you won’t regret it!

Maryn has been doing my hair for the past three years and never fails to do a wonderful job. She recently just took me back to blonde, and my hair is so healthy. The color is also very natural. She always has a vision and she makes it happen!!

This is the only place I trust with my hair. I'm never afraid renee will take too much length off (I've had that happen several places ) .Renee gives ms the look I want with the least amount of damage possible..she is all about keeping your hair healthy but also stylish. Everytime I go she manages to give me the exact look I want..some call her a stylist, I call her a magician.

Brittany Monaco is an artiste!! I have been trusting her with my hair for years; and I will not go anywhere else. She is very reasonably priced as well. Her colleagues at Maxon Salon are all excellent, but Brit is Da Bomb! She is the Coiffeuse Extraordinaire of Squirrel Hill. I heartily endorse her services!!

I get my Brazilian Blowout done by Brittany Monaco & I can’t say enough good things about her or this salon. No one else has ever come close to getting my hair as perfect as Brittany does. She’s phenomenal. Renee is also a great stylist - you probably can’t go wrong here but Brittany M is my go-to. The salon itself is adorable, very clean, and every time I go they’ve improved it in some way. Everyone that works there is incredibly nice and welcoming. I moved to Monroeville 2 years ago and tried other salons closer to where I live and eventually just gave up and drive into the city to Macon when it’s time to get my hair done. I’ve gone to far more expensive salons in Shadyside & always prefer the results and the treatment I get at Maxon. It’s really the best salon I’ve found, hands down. It’s just a little tricky to find the first time but once you go there once and figure out where it is - you’ll never want to go anywhere else.
