I had such a wonderful experience at MaxxCole Salon & Skin Spa! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like the most important person. The atmosphere was so calming and welcoming, and every detail was thoughtfully attended to. I went in for a haircut and facial, and both services exceeded my expectations. During the facial, Erin (the esthetician) took the time to explain every step, which made me feel so comfortable and informed. It was clear that she was highly skilled and passionate about what she does. The haircut with Ashley was also fantastic, and I left feeling completely refreshed and confident. This spa truly goes above and beyond to make their clients feel special. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and personalized experience. Five stars all the way!

Hands-down, the best spa I've been to by far. Nicole and her amazing team at MaxxCole have curated the best atmosphere, services, and talent anywhere in the area. They absolutely knock themselves OUT to cater to their clients and make every visit an experience to remember. I am completely blown away by the DMK Facial I had with Megan. I am normally a true skeptic and have never REALLY noticed much of a difference in my skin from previous facials. Whatever Megan chose to use specifically for my skin made a noticeable difference and I am thrilled to have found a product and a person to really make it work for my 56-year-old sun-damged and sensitive skin. With results like these, I will absolutely be visiting for regular facials. Literally cannot recommend her enough and cannot wait to go back in a few weeks!

Casey at MaxxCole Salon & Skin Spa is absolutely incredible! She has a true gift when it comes to custom color—I walked out with the most beautiful, natural-looking color and all my old, brassy blonde was gone. The cut was equally amazing and exactly what I envisioned. I told her this is the best cut I've had in my life! Beyond her talent, Casey really listens, makes you feel comfortable, and ensures you leave feeling your absolute best. If you’re looking for a stylist who is skilled, personable, and dedicated, Casey is your girl. Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE MaxxCole Salon ! I HIGHLY recommend the salon as well as ALL of its staff! Nicole Lerda has not only done a beautiful job with the salon itself, but as the owner, she has created an environment for her staff and customers that’s welcoming, relaxing, professional, and fun! Abby Hively, my stylist for over 15 years, is incredibly skilled at recommending and maintaining color, is highly skilled with different cuts and with curly hair like mine, and is just a wonderful human being to be around. My husband gets his hair cut by Chelsea Buzzard and my 3 teenage boys get their hair cut by Ashley Lanoue. We highly recommend both of them as well. Their hair ranges from short to long, straight to curly and Chelsea and Ashley handle it without problems to make my guys look great! I have also started getting facials from Erin Freeman. What a treat! Erin is well versed in the DMK line of products and has recommended products that have improved my skin 1000%! She also does a wonderfully thorough job in explaining the facial process with her spunky personality that I love! And let’s not forget the treats at the salon. Candles, beautifully crafted serving trays, earrings, scarves …. treat yourself to a service and then treat yourself to a little something extra on the way out! You won’t regret it!

MaxxCole Salon and Skin Spa is second to none. I have been frequenting the salon for many years. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is professional and friendly. The owner, Nicole, is awesome. Her welcoming smile makes you feel right at home a soon as you arrive. A huge shout out to Chelsea who is not only my hairstylist but is also my manicurist. She definitely is top-notch and is also trained in eye-lash extensions. She has yet to disappoint! The boutique is stocked with an array of items from Aveda products to candles, jewelry, beauty products and some articles of clothing from local vendors. I highly recommend MaxxCole!

Chelsea has been my stylist for many years. She is very passionate about her work. Last year my hair started to change & curl.Chelsea recommended a Brazilian blowout & I absolutely love it. Now my hair is always smooth and easy to manage. Chelsea does everything from hair, lashes & brows to manicures & pedicures. Chelsea also does a fabulous job on my lashes & brows. I have received many compliments on my lashes. They look very real & natural. Everyone a MaxxCole makes you feel like family. Nicole has turned MaxxCole into a 5 star place for pampering.

I cannot say enough about MaxxCole Salon and Spa. It is truly the pinnacle of the spa experience. It's not just that it's a cute and relaxing space, but more so it's the care that they put in. I've gotten to know Nicole, the owner, and the passion that she has for making this place a respite for women is palpable. She cares so deeply about making sure you have a wonderful experience. Her culture of caring of clients resonates so clearly through the rest of the staff. I had a facial with Erin, my first ever and it was the most relaxing experience. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and I felt incredibly pampered by her skill. More routinely, I go for massages, and they are the most wonderful massages I have ever had. Matt really cares and never disappoints. He takes the time at every session to make sure he caters the massage to your needs. He isn't counting minutes, he only cares about giving you the best experience. Recently, I took advantage of their Professional Photoshoot session because I desperately needed new headshots. They made me look gorgeous, pampered me, and I ended up with some of the best photos I have ever had. All I had to do was shot up and the hair, the makeup, and the photographer were all there waiting for me. Honestly, if you're not going to MaxxCole Salon and Spa you're missing out big time!

I have been a client of Chelsea for about 8 years and have always been thrilled with her work! Although I decided a few months ago to let my hair go gray, Chelsea had made the process seamless and always knows what to do . The results have been amazing. For maniures, pedicures and DMK facials, I have been with Oksana for many years. A consummate professional, Oksana will never fail to please. With Erin, I have received lash lifts and other services. She also has done a great job! Nicole has designed a wonderful boutique atmosphere and I always look forward to walking in the door and seeing the new items and decorations. All the personnel make you feel welcome and pampered!

I have been going to MaxxCole Salon for several years. Great atmosphere, wonderful professionals and an owner who cares about your experience. I go there primarily for the skin care services. Oksana is the best esthetician, bar none! She is extremely knowledgeable and very professional in approach. I had several issues with my skin: thin, reactive and hyperpigmented. Oksana helped me find the proper DMK treatments and home regime. The results have been outstanding. Highly recommend Oksana. You will not be disappointed.

I have used Aveda salons exclusively since 1993. We’ve moved to many dif cities and states, and immediately I find my Aveda salon! MaxxCole has been ”mine” since 2008 and my move to Pittsburgh. Having been to many Aveda salons I can say that the personalized service, care for me and my hair, and consistently beautiful results for 15 years and counting are amazing at MaxxCole. If there was a 6th star, I’d give to Nicole and her team. I’ve had services with Lilly, Ashley, and Ashley2, and all are commendable. It’s also fun to see other women and men walk out after services are done. All have good style and confidence because of their hair. What else can I say? I highly, super highly, recommend MaxxCole and Aveda products. Without a doubt, you’ll be excited about your cut, color, style, brows, nails, and special services with every visit and for years to come. I hope to meet you there sometime soon!!!

I love going to Maxx Cole! Everyone in the salon is nice and attentive to their clients. My stylist, Ashley, is always the best and makes my hair look amazing. She has always made my hair look a natural red every time she dyes it. Ashley takes the extra time to ensure my hair is perfect every time and her time management is spot on!

I recently visited this salon and spa for makeup and a headshot, as well as a Hydrojelly Facial by Erin. The experience was fantastic! The makeup artist, Erin, did an impeccable job, creating a stunning look that suited me perfectly and made me feel like I was ready to walk the red carpet. Erin's mask treatment was rejuvenating, leaving my skin nourished and revitalized. The entire staff, including the amazing owner Nicole, was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this salon and spa for their exceptional service and talented professionals. I will be going back consistently for any skin, hair, or other beauty needs I have!

I saw Erin for my pre-wedding dermaplaning and hydrojelly facial. It was a phenomenal experience and also the most relaxed I had felt the entire week leading up to the wedding. My face felt so smooth and I had no bumps or redness afterward. The hydrojelly facial was divine, as was the gentle hand massage Erin offered. I also spoke several times with the owner, Nicole, leading up to my appointment. She went over everything with me and made the whole experience special. Thank you Erin and Nicole!

Went to Ashley on recommendation after being with my hairstylist for over 6 years. A bit nervous of course. She listened, suggested and worked with my hair and my desired look and time I was willing to put into it - reality! She did NOT disappoint !! I rescheduled as soon as I knew when I would be back “home” since I currently live 7 hours away! Yepp, worth the drive !!

I always look forward to my appointment at MaxxCole…. The salon is beautiful with a relaxing vibe. Everyone there is so welcoming. Abby has been cutting/coloring my hair for many years. She is FANTASTIC! Abby explains in detail what she plans to do. She is always in a great mood, and I always love our conversations. Abby is a color expert! Most recently, she lightened my color several shades while keeping it healthier than ever. She has also helped me grow it long! I am forever thankful! Speaking from experience, I know I'm in good hands with all of the stylist at MaxxCole!

MaxxCole is hands down the best salon in Pittsburgh, the only place I'll go to get my hair done! I've been going to Abby for my haircuts and color for over 7 years now and she is the BEST! I trust anything she recommends or thinks my hair needs. My hair has never been healthier because of Abby. Not only is she an amazing hair stylist, I also consider her a friend. I always look forward to our time together, catching up. She is so talented and an all around amazing lady! It's also been wonderful getting to know the owner, Nicole. You can feel the love and support she's created in this business. I highly recommend!
