It’s a wonder a blessing no they still in business although they will still retire broke. But blacks must understand most of these foreign run business like beauty supply started at a time when crack cocaine and being a lot more wretched wild and broke was at it’s height in the black community so that may have initiated their attitudes but why still the attitude idk but it may be because their truly struggling I mean look around it’s 2024 and they don’t have nothing to offer I mean most of there products come from the early to mid 90s. You may still wonder how are they still in business and again the majority of customers are locals 5-10 min away and are older and been shopping there for years and are definitely not the customers who’s into unprocessed human hair and wigs. Over half there customers still shopping for box relaxers and Jerry curl juice. So if your looking for that retro “boys n da hood” experience great place.

I've been sitting outside the store now for 10 mins and nobody has come to the door. Its 9:40, Car is parked outside,lights in the store are on but the store is not open!!!!!!

Terrible service. You ask a question the man yells at you. They follow you like you are going to steal something. Asked about where a product was and instead of him getting up to show me. He yells from behind the counter. I gladly put all my things back and left. I work hard for my money. It shouldn’t be spent in a place with a lack of customer service. I would not recommend you go there.

This is my “go to” store for products. These people ARE NOT RACIST! They speak very little English but have always been friendly, cordial and helpful. When people don’t give the immediate responses you expect, the first thing cried out is racist. I’ve been shopping there since the store opened. They readily recognize me when I come in the store. They smile and acknowledge me. Always ending my transaction with “thank you.” We laugh and have fun while checking out and have just that brief interaction until I come again. Asian people are not chatty especially when they have little English speaking skills. They’re an older couple. He isn’t as talkative as his wife but sometimes he can get quite animated. Don’t be so quick to holler racism until you get the full picture. Give folks the benefit of the doubt before you frame the situation. Sometimes that claim can be misconstrued where we also can be considered racist. Do not get it twisted.

Everytime I go in this place they are following me as if I stole something...I WILL NOT be visiting this store any longer and If we stopped shopping there they would be out of business! We chose where we spent our $$$

I went to the store last night prior to closing and made a purchase. I handed the cashier my card to swipe, but then was distracted by my daughter. Cashier handed me the receipt but not my card. Didn't realize until I returned home. Of course they were closed by then. I don't think you can even do that by mistake. Shady business....never shopping here again!!!

Terrible, I will never go here ever again. People of color I encourage you to not support this store. As a customer, I was treated horribly. I was a paying customer and the owner never made eye contact with me and barely held a conversation with me. On top of that they wouldn't accept the picture of my license to give me a professional discount (in which he could have easily verified with my ID) Please take your business to TWINS on Summit Avenue the only black beauty supply in the area, again don't support this business it does not benefit our community.

The man there is rude as heck!!!! I asked the lady what time they closed (nicely I might add). She responds 12. Well it was 3:30 so I knew she'd misunderstood me. I repeated the question (still nicely) and then he jumps in and very rudely says 4. Then I asked if they sale shea butter and he acted like he didn't hear me. So I repeat myself and without even looking at me he said no. Yes I am black and I believe he is racist. I won't be back. I've read other reviews (after my experience) where people are saying the same thing. Don't spend your money with these people!! Spend your money with people who appreciate our business!!!

They don't stick to their prices, and they are overpriced at that but will try to get extra money out of you so pay attention! The man there was rude and ignored me when I told him he was wrong about my total because the hair I got had the price on the box !..they DONT KNOW BLACK HAIR, They are just making money off of us! THE HAIR STORE on pyramid Village is Better!

They are racist asf they cheated me out of my change I went right back in after I left and they acted as if I wasn't just there and the owners acted as if they couldn't speak English once I was there DO NOT GO TO THEM!
