For a first time waxer with a lot of nerves going into this I was immediately calmed when I met Jackie. The waxing studio is clean, cute, and calming. Jackie was so sweet and kept me talking the entire time which was a great distraction. She did a fantastic job and I hardly felt a thing. She explained the entire process and answered all of my questions, I ended up buying the after care kit she recommended but she was not pushy at all selling the products. 10/10 highly recommend, I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Wanted to share my experience! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how beautiful and clean her place was, the fact she takes such pride in her workspace screams volumes! She’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and truly cares about making sure you’re as comfortable as possible. I walked in not knowing anything about her and by the time I left I felt like she was my best friend! I highly recommend her, you will love her and leave feeling like your best version of yourself.

I had my first ever waxing appointment at Maya Beaudee yesterday and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. The studio was clean, welcoming, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Jacqueline was not only professional but also very friendly and made sure to take the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had. I left feeling better than I had walked in, and my results were exceptional! Will absolutely be coming back. If you’re thinking about booking, do it!!! 10/10

Jackie is AMAZING! This was my first time getting my eyebrows shaped and stained and she made the whole experience so great! She checked in with me a few times during the appointment to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay, she welcomed all feedback and was just so easy to talk to. I'm so happy with how my eyebrows turned out, and already can't wait to get them done again!

Jacqueline was amazing again! I went there for another Brazilian wax and she took such good care of me. She is very patient and talks you through every step. My guy also had his ears and nose waxed for the first time. Jacqueline did that perfectly as well. She explained everything she was doing while she did it. Her salon is clean and in home so you feel welcome. Jacqueline does a wonderful job and we will be back.

It was my first time going to Jackie for an eyebrow wax and shape, and I’m so glad I found her! Since August, I had been driving to Winchester to get my brows done because I couldn’t find anyone in the Martinsburg area who delivered the same quality of work. From the moment I arrived, Jackie made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She explained every step of the process, and we shared some great laughs and conversation along the way. Anyone who is nervous about waxing— book the appointment! Jacqueline talked me through the whole experience and even managed to keep me laughing. She is very professional and goes above and beyond for client’s comfort! The studio is in her home, and I had no trouble finding it. It was very clean and inviting.

I experienced a total miss on my Brazilian and decided to share my experience. My current waxer has been away on maternity leave and I was desperate to get waxed before a trip. Upon arriving, I noticed the establishment was in her home however, the space was clean and spacious. Due to the time frame since I had last waxed I had ample hair length to be able to get all of it off or so I thought. We were chatting during the service and she told me she would double check everything before I got dressed. Well when I got home and showered I noticed that there were multiple small spots in the bikini area that were missed but most importantly half of the service was not done. The entire back strip was not completed. Meaning I had just paid for a Brazilian but left with a bikini wax. As soon as I realized I texted her through her business page and her cell & booked another slot to come back and get her to look at it. Unfortunately, that meant me having to drive all the way back. She offered me $10 for the gas but I truly needed the service I paid for plus the service was much more expensive than $10 worth of gas. Well when I went back Jacqueline starts off by passively telling me that she believes she got everything but she was open to taking a look and that maybe what I was referring to she would consider an additional service for another fee etc. because all waxers are different and she had never had a client complain about her work. Her starting off that way completely changed the way I perceived her as a professional. She went on for about 5 minutes before she let me go in and change into the robe and look over my concerns. When she realized I was completely right that was when her tone changed and she was extremely apologetic. I even offered her some tips like adjusting her ring light and providing lighter colored robes etc. however, I was still upset by the way she doubted me. I am not confrontational and given that I was getting serviced in her home made it much more awkward for me. I tried to make the situation lighthearted but I was really displeased with her initial and final approach to the whole thing. I think if she wanted to retain someone as a client after such a poor experience she could have offered to take 10% off the next visit or offered a complimentary hydrojelly mask or something small like that. Since this did not happen I do not feel inclined to come back and that is totally okay. Some waxers and clients don’t go together and that might be the case here. I have never experienced something like this before and I hope to never do so again. Nonetheless, I do wish her abundance and success going forward and I hope that this experience will help her grow.

I just had a Brazilian wax done with Jacqueline. It was a very comfortable environment. She was very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions for improving skin quality in sensitive areas and also had products available to purchase. This was a great experience I would highly recommend her for first-time or experienced Brazilian wax customers.

From the moment I scheduled, to walking into her beautifully decorated & super clean salon, I can honestly say this was the best waxing experience I’ve ever had. Jackie was very thorough by explaining everything she was doing, but also a lot of fun to talk to. The music was good & the atmosphere was relaxing. I most definitely have found my “waxing home.”

Made me feel super comfortable, always made sure to ask if I was going okay, went out of her way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I am SO happy with my results & with her skills. If you're wondering if you should try out Maya Beaudee, the answer is yes. Jackie is an absolute gem! She's passionate about the services she provides and about you being her client. They say beauty is pain, and waxing has never been known to be comfortable. Jackie makes it her mission to have the visit be as pleasant as possible. She pays close attention to how you're feeling and uses techniques to minimize discomfort. The waxing itself is superb. She leaves nothing behind.....nothing. After the service was finished, she went over after care. She does have products available, but she doesn't push you to buy hers, she gives several options on where to pick up similar items in town. This was my first visit and I immediately scheduled next month's. She offers various waxing and beauty services at reasonable prices that will leave you looking and feeling amazing.
