First time here and the stylist was sooo sweet! She took her time! The reviews did no justice I LOVE MY HAIR! Will be coming back! They have gained a new customer 🥰 VERY INEXPENSIVE! Don’t walk RUN to this place!!! Highly recommend

The first time that I went here another customer was disagreeing with the stylist about the final price and other things. She was extremely upset and threatened to call the police. I don't know how they resolved things in the end. But I'll just mention that the stylist was very calm under pressure. Afterwards the same stylist did my hair and I was pleased with the result.

Kelly always gets me right the best blowout in clt and has great conversation while servicing me, She gets my hair bone straight to the roots like i have a perm even though i’m natural with 4c hair 10/10 recommend

I needed a Dominican salon who was opened on Sundays so I googled and located Mechy Salon. My Hairstylist was Kelly who was very attentive to my wants of my blow out. She worked that Brush Well. My hair was full of body. Thank you Kelly!

Mechy has been my hairstylist for about 8 years. Her excellent job has been Consistent and she has been my only go to stylist in Charlotte! I am always satisfy with her job. This was a the worst experience and it cost me $65. The person doing my hair was obviously brand new. One lady started on my hair who appeared to be the owner. While I was under the dryer with conditioner, she left. The other girl had no experience with black hair. She did my hair as though I were white. my roots are still not straight and it cost me $65. I paid because she was really nice, but she had no clue.

I’ve found my lady! Coming from NY, it’s been a struggle to find someone to finesse a wash and blow. I’ve had to instruct other stylists which brush to use and mention a flat iron is not required. Well once Mechi hit my roots, I immediately felt she knew what she was doing. I also appreciated that I wasn’t judged as soon as I walked in the door about my hair texture and encouraged to get a perm. The price was fair and I felt I was paying for equally good results on my hair. I had a very welcoming and professional experience and I will be returning. Update: Another stylist did my hair and she did her thang! I forgot her name(my apologies). The stylist told me she owned shops in Queens NY so a fellow New Yorker. I battle with dry scalp and she immediately assessed the situation with treatment. The stylist also trimmed my hair and you can def see the difference in my hair. Super grateful I found these ladies!

She washed my hair this week! It was my first time here. She gave me a deep conditioning treatment, plus clipped my ends. My hair feels like silk! Thank you Mechy!
