5/5 stars! I recently visited Meke The Salon, and I'm absolutely thrilled with my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a classy, relaxing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. My stylist was exceptional - confident, experienced, and warm, with a sweet demeanor that made me feel like I was in good hands. The shampoo technician did an outstanding job prepping me for my haircut, making sure I was relaxed and ready. The salon itself is modern and serene, with a calming ambiance that makes you feel like you're treating yourself to a luxurious experience. And the best part? My haircut is absolutely amazing! I couldn't be happier with the result. I highly recommend Meke The Salon to anyone looking for a top-notch hair experience. The combination of talented stylists, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional service makes it a true gem. I'll definitely be back!

I don’t know where to start!! From the time you enter, I felt welcomed!! I got lost finding the salon since this was my first time. MeMe stayed on the phone with me until I found the entrance and guided me where to park!! Felicia is an angel!! She has a caring, soft demeanor!! She and I talked as if we’ve known each other for years!! MeKe OMG!! I can’t speak enough about her!! She’s so down to earth!! She really knows about healthy hair!! She will tell you what’s best and what’s not!! I insisted on getting color and she fussed at me.. lol.. because she wants me to reach my goal of healthy hair first and then we can “ think” about color!! I love her for that! She’s absolutely amazing!! We hugged and talked noise( jokingly) as if I was her client for 20 years!! I’m big on reviews and I believe in giving people their flowers!! These ladies are amazing!! Everyone is friendly!! Even the clients that came to other stylist!! I loved my experience!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH ❤️

I’m giving this hair salon honestly 5 stars because this really is one of the best hair salon that I have been to in a long time and I just love the setup of this salon and pretty much every stylist I came into spoke with a smile the place was just down right friendly, and I love the vibe it was giving. My hair stylist Crystal was one of the sweetest person I‘ve met and humble I liked how she took care of my hair with good products and the color she gave I will be going back.

I was instructed to book a consultation online (Booksy). I never received one. So I called the salon and asked if I could send pictures of my desired color by text messages since they were so busy. This was the first mistake. I paid for a consultation that I should've gotten before moving on to scheduling an appointment (a month out). I requested for Meke but I was told someone else would help me. Second mistake - I requested for Meke and that's who I should've gotten. I was there for almost 5 hours and didn't get what I wanted after 2 tries. I brought to their attention, they said come in to fix but would charge an additional charge. I said no to the additional charges and haven't heard from them since to make this right. Why would I pay more when I didn't get what I wanted the first time? I would've appreciated if you told me you could try at achieving my desired look. Or stated, you didn't specialize in ombre colors, OR just referred me out altogether. Give me an option, the fees aren't cheap. It's not ok to experiment on me 2 or 3 times. This was a learning lesson for me. The intake/consultation wasn't great at the beginning. I should've not gone and walked away losing the $75 consultation fee.

My first time going to this salon to get serviced by my brother Tim. The salon is BEAUTIFUL!!!! The ambiance and atmosphere says pamper, beauty and relaxation!!! If you want to feel and look beautiful Meke the Salon is the place to be. Thank me later.

Meke is the purest soul you’ll ever meet. She is the epitome of a boss! I am truly inspired every time I step foot into this salon. The atmosphere and calm and upscale just like we like it—definitely not the majority. Her cuts are INSANE, truly like no other. The salon team is super talented across the board. If you’re in the DFW, you have to check this place out for yourself!

Bianca was my hairstylist and she was AMAZING!! She was very friendly, knowledgeable and they wash your hair as part of the service!! If you are looking for a PROFESSIONAL salon this is where you need to go! I will definitely be back!

For more than 20 years, Meke has taken care of my hair and made sure that I looked “fly”all the time! Her expert cuts and styling have always been on point!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s the best of the best‼️

I have been a client of Meke’s for a little over a year now since being referred by my cousin, and I’m so glad about it! Prior to becoming Meke’s client, I was dealing with postpartum shedding and breakage from my hair being extremely dry. Meke and Felicia are a great team and are working to restore the health of my hair. Felicia does an AMAZING job with shampooing and conditioning and my rollers sets which I love in between thermal styling. :) Meke does an amazing job with cuts and styling. Not only do they do an amazing job on the hair, but the salon is beautiful and so relaxing! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! If you’re looking for a new stylist in Dallas and the surrounding area, I would highly recommend Meke at Meke The Salon.

I have been coming to Meke Stephens Salon to get my hair done by my amazing stylist Tim O'Neal for about a year now and I love it here. Although Meke has not done my hair.......she's a beast!! I love the vibe, and don't view coming to the salon as something on my to do list, but a place to go and let my hair down with other women. The atmosphere fosters positivity and great conversations. I simply love the atmosphere of this salon very chic, down to earth, and classy all at the same time. I am so grateful that my stylist (Tim) made the decision to join this salon. The ladies are all so nice, and loving and always smiling and making it a great experience. The owner is amazing if I can just throw that in there, she always smiles greet you and even she makes you feel welcomed! Just a really great experience for me!

Love Love this salon…. Just being able to walk into a black own hair salon and know your going to be treated like family is a PLUS in my book. Everyone is friendly and very welcoming to everyone who walks in the door. Oh and that Tim is a beast at his work. Never a doubt that I’m going to be disappointed in my service.
