Melissa and Ashlee have been nothing short of awesome! Walking in, I immediately feel like I've known them forever with our friendly convo and excitement over Melissa's new location. I'm receiving 10 lipo laser sessions. After 2 I could already fit into a pair of shorts that I couldn't close prior to treatments. After 3 sessions, I incorporated cardio and weights into my schedule as I am that motivated to change my perimenopausal body! This is the help I needed to make positive changes and stick with it. Today will be my 4th session and I'm so excited to see these continuous improvements!

I have been getting Botox for years, and never had an experience like this. The doctor stated he was an ER for years, which through me off a little as to why he was doing cosmetic procedures. But I still proceeded with getting Botox. First off the needle used was WAY larger than any needle I have ever gotten Botox with before. If you have gotten Botox you know it doesn’t feel like anything, just a little poke and a slight pinch using a small needle. This was actually painful. I had tons of bleeding, and I never have had bleeding before. I even said that to the doctor, he didn’t seem to care. Getting the actual Botox put into the muscle was painful. Again I never had pain getting Botox before. And now I have bruising and hard lumps on my face from trauma caused from not placing the Botox correctly. I highly recommend not going here. This place does not know what they are doing. It’s also in a Little shack, I kid you not, and no one is wearing a mask.

Great experience. Amazing results for my first time and trial. Almost 3in off my stomach!! My jaw dropped!! Employee's were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were extremely caring and nice. I can't wait to go back again!! Love this place!!!

I originally responded to ad on Facebook about "laser lipo" from this business. I have had no previous experience with any type of body aesthetic procedures before, so I looked up the website. It all seemed legit, there is an itinerary of services available as well as areas they treat. I scheduled and paid for the $79 "Ab trial". Upon my first visit, I walked into a very empty office with only one employee present. The intake was simply a check off sheet. There is no Dr. or nurse that reviews things with you nor do they look at your body for an evaluation. After I turned in the paperwork, I was taken back to a room where the employee did measurements on me and took pictures with her personal phone. I was then hooked up to a belt that had rectangular bars and emitted a red light to which two 10 minute sessions were done. After that, I was taken out into the waiting room to stand on a vibration board for 10 minutes and that is the whole thing. It also took 3 days before i was sent pictures or my measurements, which were whited out and rewritten. The owner showed up as i was done, with her dog. So if you have allergies, this is something to consider, she takes her large white dog with her to work. She showed me before and after pictures of face and talked up the service and convinced me to buy a package. As you know, ads pop up everywhere and one day I saw another ad for laser liposuction. Interested, I watched the video demonstrating their service. It requires being numbed in certain areas and a wand is inserted into specific areas by a doctor leaving minor bruising but only requiring one visit. Now, I feel like I need to question, what service am I receiving? I asked the employee at my next visit and the answer I was given was that out of a 3-ring binder and she could not confidently answer. I was then told she would ask Melissa and have her reach out to me. That never happened. In the meantime I did some research with the American Med Spa association and found that "lipo" is not a proper medical term as it can be LIPOSUCTION or LIPOLYSIS. It is also noted that "laser treatment penetrates the skin to selectively target fat cells underneath, leaving blood vessels, nerves and other tissues undisturbed." Lasers that are used on human tissue for any purpose are classified under the FDA as medical lasers. Further research explained that the service I was receiving from MSBT was likely "red light therapy" as I was not numbed, and a doctor did not oversee the procedure. I sent Shortino a message on Facebook and asked about what is happening, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. She answered saying, oh well that makes sense since I responded to the first treatment-did I? Because no one ever told me why they whited out some numbers and rewrote them. But what a strange response she gave. I was never given a clear answer and began to feel violated...personal phones for medical pictures, they do not use gloves, there is only one employee, and it is not posted if they are a medical professional nor is a doctor on site or listed. i had a few appointments left in the package and decided I am not comfortable with this business anymore. I filed with the BBB and again tried to get answers and a resolution out of this. I was met with negativity, and nothing was resolved. I then filed with civil court and won judgement in my favor. It is an absolute shame this woman is scamming people like this. I now know, a reputable medical spa will have a full staff, doctor on hand, and absolutely never use abbreviated terms as it is misleading to the client. The equipment can also be bought on Amazon, the red-light machine is about $500 and the vibration board about $200. She will say she is getting product information from her "supplier" but again, never gives you an answer. Along with the misuse of the word "lipo", her website says they treat areas such as "fupa" and "manboobs" when it should be listed as "upper pubic mound" or "gyneclomastia" and proper terms that have defined medical definitions.

Purchase the laser service. In my third week and I'm happy so far. The staff are very friendly and very professional. They greet you my name and make the experience very comfortable. I look forward to my appointments because it is going to be a great day

❗️Real review❗️I had excitedly purchased the laser treatment from this company prior to my wedding based on the “real” photos they post. Unfortunately my experience was anything but great. It was in fact the complete opposite. I feel like I completely wasted my time, money, and was blown off by the owner. After following their recommended schedule of appointments, eating well, and keeping a very active schedule, I had virtually no results. I asked multiple times to speak to the owner but my requests were ignored and I was never contacted by her. It was completely unprofessional. I was given excuse after excuse and at the end of the day all they would do was give me more “sessions” which were really just a waste of my time. I feel like they took my money with false promises of results weeks before my wedding!. I hate to speak badly about a company, but feel like everyone should know how negative and unprofessional my experience was. I would hate to stay silent and let anyone else be given promises of false hopes and and then be ignored when this company’s money making scheme rips them off too. I have before & after photos that I’ll share privately to anyone interested!‼️Beware‼️ Edited to reply to owner- I did not gain any weight, I actually went to my primary care physician the day of my initial appointment and the day of my final appointment and have professional medical documentation of my weight being identical. I requested to speak with you numerous times and was never reached out to by you, but now you respond when I post my honest review on my experience with your company? That’s not great customer service at all and I plan to let everyone know my experience!

Melissa and her team are amazing! They are so warm and make everything so easy! I can’t say more about the lasering, to get rid of fat that has been stuck for years no matter how much I dieted. I got the vip package and I am amazed by my results! I recommend Melissa and her team to everyone who is looking for change and sculpt their body! no matter how big or small!

I had an outstanding experience at Melissa Shortino Salons . I took advantage of the $79 trial of 1 session for the laser Lipo. I was not expecting results after my first session but had total of nearly 2 inches lost after my free trial- I was honestly shocked and visibly saw a change in the one session. I ended up signing up for a 10 pack and was extremely happy with my results but more so the customer service I received from Mardella! She was attentive , flexible , so incredibly friendly - I felt like we had known each other for years - and that is important for such a personal treatment I was receiving. I have confidently referred many of my friends due to my incredibly positive experience with Melissa Shortino body transformation systems. Photos are pre and and post 10 total treatments- I lost over 10 inches cumulatively - I went down 2 pant sizes !
