I just had the best massage/stretch session. My headache and nerve pain is gone and I feel so much lighter. The location was easy to find and beautiful. I’m excited to see my therapist at the downtown location next time!

Awesome place! My wife booked me a session to help with my shoulder I tweaked and I’m so thankful she did, can’t thank her or them enough!! The Massage was top tier couldn’t have asked for a better place to go.

I had a deep tissue massage session at Mellow Massage with Christine Annais. I had tightness in my neck, shoulders, and back and she was able to relieve the pressure and help me release the tension. I have very tender calves and she was able to massage and treat that as well. She was so thoughtful and listened to my muscle issues and I will definitely go back to her for more treatment. Thank you!

Updated 12/10/24: I’ve been back three times and each experience is wonderful! I’m hooked! The 80 minute restorative massage with cupping has done wonders for my tight upper back and neck. It has helped me with dealing with stress from work and is now an essential part of my self-care. Robbie does a fantastic job and seems to really care about his clients. Cannot recommend enough! Original review: I’ve been experiencing stiffness and soreness in my neck, shoulders, and upper back from my desk job. I scheduled an 80 minute restorative massage with Robbie and it was wonderful. I felt so relaxed and loose after the massage. Robbie was able to identify my specific problem areas and gave me some tips to help manage the issue going forward. I would definitely recommend and plan to go back soon!

I initially gave this 5 stars. The service and therapists are awesome. However, my complaint is trying to get someone to respond to my emails. I have sent 3 since last Wednesday. I'm trying to find out about a charge. No one has responded. I called. Spoke to a man who said he can see my emails and that someone would respond. No response yet. I called back on Friday to tell him to cancel my membership. He said I needed to send an email. This shouldn't be this difficult. Very frustrating!

My massage with Keenan at Mellow Massage/College Area was quite amazing. His hands knew exactly what was needed at every knot and sore muscle. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, my aches and pains gone. Highly recommended!

Therapist (5/5): Robbie is my massage therapist and I had two sessions with him so far. He actively listens to what part of your body hurts and he finds all the knots. He even shows different stretches you can do to help with the problem areas. (Deep tissue) Location& parking (5/5): been to other Mellow locations and this one has plenty of parking and conveniently located off of hwy8. Billing & membership: (3/5): this is where the stars came off. I have been with Mellow as a member for 5 months. Had numerous billing issues, which included multiple membership/ duplicate charges and overcharge on the card. Because there isn’t a member portal, I have to exam my credit card statement and follow up with Kelly to get things resolved. Which means administrative work for me to continue to follow up. Wish they had simplified process for the mellow members. Appointment availability (5/5): different locations will vary but this location reopened recently and very easy to find a time slot. Overall, strongly recommend giving them a chance, best therapists in San Diego!

I was unsure what to expect as I walked into this massage place - there was nothing but a couple seats and a desk with nothing on it. But I quickly learned that none of that mattered because the massage therapist was very knowledgeable and attentive to what my problem areas were, especially as I had recently tweaked a muscle underneath my shoulder blade which is a difficult area to do anything about myself. He worked as a massage therapist with the knowledge of a physical therapist. Fantastic massage and highly recommmend!

Robbie was great! Was very professional and attentive to my specific condition. I have really bad carpal tunnel syndrome and he was able to loosen and get rid of lots of knots and tight muscles. On top of that he was able to give exercises and other treatment to help in between my treatments with him. 10/10!

Had an amazing experience at Mellow Massage! I went for a “couples” massage with my partner and it was fairly easy to find available bookings. I booked the night before I went for a 12pm that next day! I had Lisa, and my partner had Robert. Lisa was great and made me feel very comfortable and my partner reported that Robert was awesome too! Very informative and gave some good tips to help with his everyday pains. Will definitely be coming back soon!

I had a great massage with Lisa last night. She did a great job getting knots out of my shoulders and traps, and noticed I had some limitations on the left side. She took the time after the massage to teach me some stretches to avoid getting frozen shoulder. It was a great experience, and I'm now going to book and appointment for my boyfriend.

I had an amazing session. I travel for work and was having a great deal of neck and shoulder pain. My massage therapist did an amazing job of relieving the tension and pain in my neck and shoulder. If I was a local I would definitely get a membership.

I've been in twice now for a hot stone massage and Swedish massage. Both therapists were kind and wonderful at what they do. I've left feeling relaxed and pampered. Jordan, my therapist for the Swedish massage even gave me some stretching tips afterwards. Front desk has always been kind and helpful as well. Also love the dark massage rooms and recessed Soffit lighting. It gives the room such a nice soft glow and also looks sleek. Recommend this spot if you are in need of a massage.

My appointment was right as it opened, and I had no trouble finding parking in the lot. The place is very modern and calm inside. Bathroom was clean and smelled lovely. The staff I dealt with was only my massage therapist, and she was very sweet and worked hard. I did the aromatherapy massage and truly enjoyed it. It was probably the best I have had down in San Diego. I liked the area it was in as there is a lot to do and different places to eat. I definitely will book here again for my next massage. It is spendy, but I understand why they charge as much as they do, and it was worth it.

The spa is very vibey and has such a relaxing ambiance from the moment you step foot into it. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The massage rooms provide excellent privacy and have the same very relaxing energy like the rest of the place. The massage itself was excellent and exactly what I was looking for; I picked the 180 min massage + cupping session and my body feels so relaxed! I was not rushed at all and the after care recommendations were great. I already booked my next appointment :)

Absolutely relaxed right now writing this! I very much enjoyed this massage studio. It was very clean and the vibe was so nice walking in. The masseuse took her time with what I request was bothering me and it was just such a relaxing experience. I will definitely be back soon.

Don't be fooled by the outside of the place, the inside is a nice modern design. The staff are friendly and helpful and the masseuse that I use makes me feel like I'm floating.

Gabriela Agostinho is amazing. She definitely knows her techniques and really listens to her clients. So they can get the best massage they need to feel good and keep going about there day. I highly recommend her to anyone.
