Make sure to call in to cancel for any hair services a week on time to be safe if not you will be hit with a $50 cancellation fee. I was not advised of this, and on top of that I was supposed to call back to get a week appointment because apparently the weekends are for the regulars. If I was quoted $230 for highlights, I didnt need to hear why a week appointment would work better for the hairstylist because of regulars over me as a new customer. And made it seem like me going on a weekend seemed like an inconvenience to her. I had no idea of a cancelation fee and I did call in to cancel that same day unfortunately I had to go to work🙈.I will say this place does put more favor to regulars than new customers. If anything go with Mel she is and will always be amazing. I cant think of the name of the other hairstylist that was rude to me. Got my hair done elsewhere at a better price elsewhere and excellent customer service thank God things happen for a reason.

Mel replied back after I had left a message. She was able to attend to me right away within 40mins of her calling me back. I got my hair trimmed just in time before my mom's memorial service.

Walked in and waited for over 30 min was not attended another lady walked in and she was attended seemed she was a regular customer I was not told how long it would be or that they were waiting for an appointment very Bad customer service for new customers

Highly recommend going if you need haircuts, highlights, fades etc. Mel always does a wonderful job.

My little brothers haircut came out so ugly. We asked for a fade and his line up, both were messed up like she did what she wanted. He wouldnt go back inside for her to fix it so I have to take him somewhere else.

I have paid 3 and 5 times more of what Mel's charges at other salons for a haircut and always left dissapointed@#$ I hope Mel never closes! Mel has never disappointed me always does exactly what I ask and it always turns out perfect!!

Mel is by far the BEST in El Paso! I've moved away and literally waited months to a year to cut my hair so I can come back to El Paso and see Mel. The quality of service is phenomenal! You literally will never need to look for another stylist after just one visit here. The atmosphere is very welcoming and worth any wait.
